Automated Blogs: Caffeinated Contents Vs Wordpress direct

I am thinking of putting up an automated blog. Can you all share the pros and cons of using caffeinated contents versus wordpress direct to automate my blog?

Well, I have experience with c-c but NOT WP direct. I checked their sales page, and it seems to me you kind of have to host your blog with them to use this feature. which I personally would NEVER do. C-c is a simple plugin for YOUR blog, to use as you wish.

WP Direct does not require you to host your blog with them. The blogs are with any c-panel compatible host of your choosing.

It's a great service and I recommend it highly. All of the bad rap that I've seen about it can be attributed to a) misinterpreting what it does and b) misconstruing its applications.

The only drawback I've found is that I wish I could use it with more domains.

PS. Let us know what you think about CC.
PPS. Let me know if you know of an automated Wordpress installation script that I can use when I run out of domains at WPD. :-)

Interesting to hear good words about WP direct. Well, regarding Caffeinated content - I wouldn't use it on blogs intended for human eyes, although opinions may differ on that. It sure produces lots of content, though and with some tweaking it may perhaps look nicer also.

THe cost of CC is $77 which is one time fee and can be used for unlimited blogs. Can you let me know the cost of WordPress Direct.

Anymore feedback from warriors are greatly appreciated.

Look in other threads for coupon codes on C-C. I found one there someplace.

Yes, I wonder also what the real cost is of WP direct. It seems to be "free" but I suppose yo get to pay if you really want to use its full potential.

I tried WPDirect, didnt like it at all, the layout even cant get straight an is always broken.

I even recieved an email from them yesterday, saying after thier free bronze account offer they was expecting huge signups but only 26 people did, so i think I am not the only one who think they suck.

Caffeinated Content needs to be updated manually.

Wordpress Direct limits the number of blogs you can set up using their system.

For me, feedpress is the best. Even better than wp-omatic. I have a blog that I set up with feedpress over a year ago and have not touched it since. But it keeps on posting!

I dont have a lot of time to get into specifics on CC but here are a couple thoughts on it.

1) there is addon for CC that will allow you the option for scheduling post...the name escapes me but our employees us it.

2) CC automated blogs can be made to look very good to human eyes...it might require a little out of the box thinking (additional plugins or services)

3) I know most people want to just build a automated blog and walk away from it and make make money...this is possible and we did it in the beginning. But there are ways to increase your traffic and sales with just a little additional promotion.

I know this is not much but I just dont have a lot of time this morning.

Another option is WP Robot. There is also a free plugin (by the same author) that posts articles and such.

I second WProbot. By far the best plugins for Auto-blogs. The support is amazing, and they constantly update thier plugins. Plus they have to translator module to help make your content semi-unique.

Wordpress direct is limited, firepow is not and with their new blending feature it is like taking cc feeds and wp robot feeds and blending the automatic content together on each page. Direct is limited and plug ins are ok.

The best thing about WPRobot is that it integrates a number of different ways to automatically generated content for any blog.

Buying all the modules at once is a heck of a deal when you consider the cost to purchase multiple plugins would be 4 or 5 times that amount.
