This product recently launched by Mike Filsaime and it's been a few weeks now so can any owners give their reviews?

I'm interested in anything that helps people build good review sites as affiliates and would like to get some solid reviews of ReviewCrusher, whether it's for sale now or "off the market".

In the "old" forum there was a thread on this topic which got hijacked with lots of bashing going on and was not appropriate so please stick to the rules of this forum and keep objective and focused on the product.

So any owners out there?
How was the product (documentation, features, how to use/consume, quality)?
What results have you seen?
Good points, areas for improvement, alternatives you may have found?
Was it worth the investment?

I own it, no results, still in beta, and not worth the investment at this time.

I don't know about review crusher, but I did some research at the time for other review scripts, and there are two or three excellent alternatives, I even had a programer approach me, and I think he offered to sell his script customized with my design for $200 which was alot less.

And the script looked very nice.

The latest approach by Mike is something he is repeating ... I got this thing in development, was going to keep it to myself, its in beta, but am going to share it.

Maybe it should have stayed in beta a little longer to get the bugs ironed out.

Review Crusher is still in Beta.

I just requested a refund!

If anyone has information on other Review Site options I would be interested.
I do not want something I have to install and fix.

My review: I bought the review package, the add-on review package and the monthly license fee. Was willing to spend several thousand dollars on the product but just asked for a refund this morning. The company will probably open with limited license availability after the refund period, but the reasons many of us have complained of are not easy fixes.

Not a good product for the following reasons:

1. 'customer service' is not available. I couldn't even figure out where to get a refund request.
2. script installation was impossible on my sites, due to THEIR software errors.
3. this expensive piece of software is still in BETA. They rushed to get it to the market before a similar product launched, and that extra month they chopped off the development really shows.
4. I found this offering to be generally sloppy, like many of the Filsame offerings of late. Guy shouldn't brag that it's all outsourced--what a poor advertisement for outsourcing. The company is too thrilled with their own success, and the best advice for them is to step back and develop quality offerings with proper support. I am personally DONE with this company (and their JV's) and all their products after the recent grade school level magazine and this reviewcrusher garbage.
5. the software itself, once loaded onto a website, broke a few 'rules' for me: a. the reviews were unnecessarily wordy b. the page was congested c. Filsame and gang had an entire left sidebar packed with their own clickthroughs. Not cool when I'm paying for the product. d. changes were not easy to implement e. the forum learning videos were not helpful.

Anyway, I just got an email confirming my refund. Sorry about the rant, but this product's shoddy offering was a complete shock to me.

So let me ask you all a question what products of Mike have worked for you. He is considered to be a great affiliate salesman with many products.

OK here is what I have experienced so far with Review Crusher. Yes the idea is great so like a fool I bought it. I have been trying for over 40 or 50 days to get it to work. I have gone through 3 web host providers to try an get it to work. I have set emails, submitted tickets and spent hours and hours on the phone trying to get this thing to work. I have asked for a refund they have refused. It still does not work. I have talked to the tech guy who has tried to fix it unfortunately it still is not working properly. All in All I would say don't buy it untill they have better customer service (ie a phone with a real person here,live chat to solve problems right away),have a system that truely works. I have made suggestions to them with very little response. At this point I am very sorry I have bought it. Part of the deal is you have to pay so much
per month on a learning system( for 11 months in order to own the system) except the system that I bought does not work as of this date Sept 16,2008.
I recommend you Don't buy it
