$60 to buy which SEO program?

Hi Warriors,

If I had $60 to spend on a product that would help my website get into a higher page position, what would you recommend?
My site is for my business and I need to get higher up the Google rankings to be more visible. So it isn't a money making site per-se.
I don't want to sign up for a subscription service.
Basically, what is the best method/program to focus on...
Articles..
Backlinking...
Facebook fan site...
Etc.

I haven't much disposable income, but may be able to stretch to $100.

Thanks in advance

Chris

    Hey Chris,

I'd recommend 'Article Marketing Robot' - It'll set you back $97 - but it's a SOLID investment, and I'm sure many others would agree will help you rise up the search engines.

    Cheers!

I would add to that, Market Samurai. Scrapebox is another good one that is $57 dollars if you go to cheapskate - ScrapeBox.

You can succeed even without commercial software. But if you really want something to make it easier. Use Market Samurai

If your business serves just your local area and you are in a small community, Market Samurai is a useless investment. You can find suitable keywords just using Google's Keyword Tool. You aren't really going to need to analyze the competition all that much for a local market. The competition is going to be weak.

Scrapebox has a definite learning curve, but in that price range is probably the most useful.

Again, if you are in a local market, make sure you have claimed your Google Places listing. If you have a storefront, get a Facebook sticker made to put on the front door or window. If you don't have a Facebook page and don't know how to make one yourself, I'd probably spend the $60 to get someone to design a decent one.

It sounds like you need info rather than programs. If its for a local business, there is a book available from my last signature link and there are other products available through WSOs.

          Hi,

          Thanks for all this.
Yes, my site is a local business. I am a psychotherapist and hypnotherapist in the UK.
The competition is low, however my rivals are above me and I simply need to be seen for a handful of keywords and phrases.
I have been finding .gov and .edu sites to comment on blogs and have been commenting on blogs in general.
But I haven't seen any movement in ages. I use Pingler to ping every three days to help with the indexing.
Article robot does look interesting but if I am barking up the wrong tree, I would rather spend my Dough more wisely.
I have a Fan/business page on Facebook that is linked to my Twitter account.

So this is basically where I am at the moment. I seem to be going round in circles

          Best wishes

          Chris

well dunno why, but i just recommend that no software can conquer the SEs... Search Engines or SEs are using such dynamic+evolving algorithms that using a software to win it is i say tough. The real deal will be, just generate quality content, i do not say that the SEO will not be important, because the Search spiders should know what are we writing about, and then automatically it starts to move into the motion.

i will try to explain the algorithm.

somebody posts nice content on his website --> search spiders go through it --> for a recommended keyword it appears in the search results too --> somebody else likes it and shares with his/her friends --> more people hit it, like it and share it --> search engines come to know that this content is really valuable --> it gets a higher value points (and may be keeping that in mind Google created the +1) --> the cycle revolves
nice examples are : wikipedia, facebook, ebay, linux, etc.

what does the spamming SEO softwares do?
the just dilute the sharing with friends and followers part by spamming software, irrelevant comments exists all over the blogs, but does that make sense?... it might get you some points but does that get you the deserving traffic?

e.g: i have an autoblog, and some problems with the software, the content coming in is just "?????????....??????....?????????????????????????? ??????....so on" and i have 11k comments on that page alone, irrelevant just sayin, I will refer this to my friend, or wife, or great article, will come back again, blah blah blah....

so whats that getting you?... absolutely nothing i say....

So its better save your money for now, start of with a quality blog, and success will be yours to cherish!

I actually disagree with this. Any tool (scrapebox, Magic Submitter, SENUKE X 2) can become a spam tool in the wrong hands. But used properly, it is simply a way for you to get your own unique content (thereby building backlinks) out into the marketplace and your offer in front of the right audience. Doing it by hand, especially if you want to take massive action, is far too time consuming and outsourcing isn't always the best option either.
