Mark, I'm researching AnyMeeting right now, and guess who's the first person on Warrior Forum to mention the new Paypal integration --you!

No surprise. You always find wonderful free and low-cost resources.

Aside from rotating ads, I'm not finding any drawbacks so far to the updated version for presenters using Windows. I'm curious to hear from more Warriors who have used AnyMeeting in 2011.

First time I've ever heard of it! Just signed up. Is it any good? How's the phone call quality? how's the video? Any lag? Seems like a gotomeeting.com killer for those who can't afford it. Ad supported, though. Are they obtrusive?

I like anymeeting... however the paid option is not sooooo good.

Let's say, you charge $97 for a live webinar.

Live Meeting Profit
Attendee Pays: $97
PayPal Fees: - $2.52
AnyMeeting Fees: - $20.40
Your Profit: $74.08

The numbers above are from their own site: try to schedule a paid webinar and it will tell you exactly how much is their fee!

Now, if you have 100 attendees and Anymeeting takes out $20.40 from every payment (20.40 x 100 = $2,040) then you can really afford to pay a monthly $50-100-200/mo for your webinars.

This is how they calculate the numbers from my post above:

I want to collect Payments using PayPal (checked)

Important: For every transaction, PayPal deducts $0.30 + 2.9% of the total transaction. AnyMeeting also deducts $1 + 20% of the transaction to cover business expenses related to the transaction. This fee is non-refundable. A minimum charge of $5 is required to use this feature.

Couldn't you do a re-direct link to a squeeze pre-payment page and bypass all those charges?

They still need a login code to enter the webinar, right?

Do these webinars run smoothly?

I'm finding Gotomeeting a pain sometimes these days...good for presenters - bad for attendees.

I am sure they are not planning on the bulk of their target audience thinking of this ^^

This technology has been around since paypal released their code for the "pay button" and the first webinar software was invented. Ever heard of Alex Mandossian? He really pioneered this technology. It just takes a higher level of thought.

This is the same type of positioning that big time marketers use to sell the things that we could find on our own.

Behind what every company says they are selling is the truth of what they are really selling. Such a small portion of the population will ever figure it out that there is still tons of money to be made.

Excellent find Brent, thanks for posting it. Do you have any experience with using the PayPal module? On their site (and in their Wiki) it looks like you need to email or call them for details. I'd be curious as to how it works.

Also, it looks like this is available as a self-hosted solution. Do you have an idea as to how much CPU horsepower this needs? I'm wondering how it might run on an Amazon microinstance for example?

I'm looking for a new webinar option and came
across this thread.

A couple of updates to AnyMeeting -

11/03/11 Update: Starting tomorrow, we are lowering the ticket convenience fee to: 10% + $1 per ticket (maximum convenience fee of $9).

8/29/11 Update: Now when using the “PayPal Options” feature to sell tickets to your webinars, your attendees will have an ad free experience. That’s right, no ads and AnyMeeting is still completely free.

Interested in feedback anyone has on this
service.

I've used GoToWebinar for years and
FuzeMeeting this past year but still looking
for "the" solution.

I have a few questions please...

1) Has anyone here actually used Anymeeting.com yet? If so, are they as reliable as GoToWebinar?

2) Anyone used Meetcheap.com MeetCheap - Video Conference Software for Webinars, Online Meetings, Desktop Sharing & Web Conferencing yet? Their prices seem to be even lower than Anymeeting.com. Any feedback on them?

Any info will be greatly appreciated please.

I know there are people who love AnyMeeting, but my experience was a complete and utter disaster.

I pushed a live webinar to my list for damn near a week and was using AnyMeeting to power it.

Come the night of the webinar, the platform just didn't work.

People could hear me, but there was a massive delay with the screen sharing. I'm talking 10 seconds.

And that was in the beginning. 5 minutes in my screen share froze.

It wasn't my connection however as I have one of the fastest connections in the US.

If you're doing webinars on the regular, it's worth coughing up the $99 for GoToWebinar.

MeetCheap may be good too, but mainly because of how they pay their affiliates more than how the software works.

I'm sure it's great, but I don't see many people running webinars with meetcheap.

GoToWebinar is expensive, but the closest to a sure thing when it comes to doing live webinars.

recently im looking into webinars too. As in hosting them.

Meetcheap is good too. Ive seen ppl using them.

As for your issues with anymeeting, did u try reading this?

Because im concerned too, im looking to hold live trading session webinars, so the speed of broadcast is really really important as timing is crucial in trading.

Im gonna do a test webinar though..
