Default PPC Kahuna - Just signed up!

Jeez, I didnt even read the salesletter, but knowing Jason's work as I'm a current Traffic Kahuna member, I couldnt turn down the discounted price.

From the initial look over, it seems like a website version of Affiliate Elite mixed with some other strategies and services, but time will tell I guess!

Anyone else purchase or review it, and have thoughts on it?

Hi

I was one of the lucky ones to join with like 3 minutes left. I also joined based on previous experience with the guys and portal feeder. Finally learning about pay per click from Jason K will be cool cause I feel like I can trust him to not steer me in the wrong direction and all. I started a small site with regular updates on what I'm learning but can't add the link here yet so if anyone is curious please pm me.

PPC Kahuna looks pretty interesting thus far. Here is the inside scoop from personal experiences.

PPC kahuna is a combination of desktop software tools as well as online only tools and a bunch of training. One of the major components is a desktop tool called "ppc kahuna" which is a really sweet tool. Its pretty much a desktop version of google cash detective and keywordspy. It's really straight forward and easy to use. It has some nice filtering options along with "other" useful features.

If your into adwords and understand the power of spying on your competition then this is a tool you will love. I leave the thing running in the background and its sits there gathering spy data based on how I have the scheduler set.

Then there is another desktop tool called keyword corral. This is used with a google traffic estimator csv file to get seo competition information and filter that data. It's really straightforward and definitely has it uses.

Then they have a whole bunch of web based tools. The web based stuff is like speed ppc but with some added tools. This is really awesome stuff if you don't already have speed ppc.

As for the training part, I'm not sure what to make of it yet. The tools rock thats pretty clear. The training just started and they say they are redoing alot of it adding a bunch more.

Another interesting thing is that they seem to be planning on showing how to use the tools from a PPC and SEO perspective. Kind of weird since the name of the program is PPC Kahuna.

As long as it works thats cool with me.

I managed to get in PPC Kahuna and JK is the man. He is very honest and is currently doing a set of videos taking people through a complete PPC campaign and shows you how to use the tools along the way - very impressive, clear and easy to follow.

There are a lot of other tools that are a huge time saver (and money saver)!

Keep a look out for this one when they open the door to the public...

Just an update, PPC Kahuna members have just been given access to a powerful need landing page generator that makes SpeedPPC look obsolete!

Not to mentioning video and PDF training on how to make serious money using it...

Oh...and it's free as part of our membership!

I love these guys!

PPC Classroom is getting ready to launch Version 2.5. It is a rock solid program with a step by step actual virtual classroom which teaches you PPC and provides so many tools I can't list them here.

I tried Traffic Kahuna and was not impressed. SENuke is 10 times better than a blog co-op. The Web 2.0 sites are automated with SENuke and you just get instructions with Traffic Kahuna on where to post. The weak interface and how they laid it out really turned me off, so I am not really excited about PPC Kahuna.

My recommendation is PPC Classroom. They don't have to "redo" any videos, they have a complete course with added videos and video seminars constantly giving more tips and tricks for making money with PPC.

Be wary of landing page generators. Google has been clamping down and slapping quality scores for mass generated landing pages.

I love Speed PPC and use it almost every other day, but I don't use the LPG for this very reason. I have been hit by this bug already. Your landing pages are the place where you catch your leads/ sales. The most important part of your campaign outside of Keyword research. Mass production seldom works for more than a short while.

Default PPC Kahuna Compared to Google Cash Detective

It seems like the historical data from PPC Kahuna depends on your own tracking efforts and is therefore extremely limited. This is similar to AdSpy Pro. With Google Cash Detective, on the other hand, my understanding is that Chris Carpenter provides his server's historical data for lots of PPC campaigns. Can someone confirm this?

Hey SpiderDog, I' a beta member of PPC Kahuna. The PPC Kahuna software reminds of a desktop version of PPC Bully..with no limit to how many keywords I can monitor and also cheaper (but it does use your own computer resources). I personally think the historical database is not a good thing for GCD since you and everyone else are going to be looking at the same exact data set.

With PPC Kahuna I create my own database which I only have access to...So yea you will have to do some work by adding your own keywords and collecting your own data with PPC Kahuna...It's simply a tool...Thats whats great about tools...there not some gimmick..but just another weapon for ones arsenal.

Personally do you think if Google Cash Detective was such a cash machine for creating simple direct linking campaigns that someone as smart as Chris would actually sell access to the database?...

I actually prefer the PPC Kahuna software setup, it checks daily (or based on your schedule) for what adwords are being ran for what keywords, and how often they have been found out of the total number of checks.

Sure historical CAN be nice, but I don't mind waiting 7 - 14 days to see the recent keywords that have been performing consistently well.

Then I use other software to then spy on the other keywords that advertiser is also using, and then watch them as well.

Evil Success I tellz you!

Are any of you guys beta testers for BOTH Tools (Detective *and* Kahuna) that could maybe shed some light on which tool is the best of class tool?

Kahuna is a LOT cheaper but Which Tool is Better is what I am wanting to discover from the point of view being;

1) Being able to ID a profitable PPC campaign

2) Does Kahuna have the ability to import direct into Adword campaign

3) Can you track at the keyword level w/ Kahuna like Detective can?

As to whether how good this product is or whether it works, responses are ambiguous. The product seems a bit over priced for several reasons: (1) The verdict is not out yet as to how effective it is and (2) the world economy is such that many will not be able to afford it.

I am one of those who would like to become good at PPC, but is not ready to devote the time to learning it. I think I will just hire someone like Teron Dale to run my campaigns for me and collect the money from the campaigns.

Right now I am devoting much more of my time on the affiliate marketing side of my business with SEO rather than PPC.

I would like to see someone develop a course for Affiliate Marketers that does not spend a lot of time selling someone else's products, but lately that is what it is all about...lol.

Thanks for sharing all the PPC Kahuna data, though, because it is nice to know what someone can expect when buying a tool.

Have an amazing day!

I joined PPC Kahuna and PPC Classroom 2.0. There is no doubt in my mind that PPC Kahuna is a superior program. It is a more clear, in depth, step-by-step blueprint for learning and taking action. Combines PPC + SEO (if you want) for best performance. On top of that, it provides all the tools anyone should need to speed up the process, unlike PPC Classroom. I understand if you think this sounds like a paid endorsement, but it's not. I'm not an affiliate of PPC Kahuna - YET! I'm just one excited customer.

Next is the first video, I was very impressed with this, the video's are large and fairly long, very detailed and get right to the point of starting keyword research. First he shows you how to set up a spread sheet, then walks you through the 4 or 5 keyword tools showing you STEP BY STEP how to use them, His speech is clear and he does not stumble, as apposed to PPC classroom, the vids are small, short, and they stumble, and the videos I have seen so far in PPCclassroom, are just common sense. I have been a in PPCclassroom for a week or so, and it just been basic IM overviews with 10 question tests, no walking you through STEP BY STEP to really get things rolling. I,m not saying PPCclassroom is not a good site, I'm just saying so far for me, I am much more impressed with Kahuna. PPCclassroom also seems intent to sell you more products right form the start, really pushing google cash generator $900, that turns me off, Kahuna has lots of great tools free, and so far has not pushed any up sells. I've only been in
PPC kahuna one day, and I have learned more about how to research and set up a awords or SEO campaign, then all the time I've spent learning IM, and thats saying alot. Now please don't jump all over me, I did say this just my first impressions. I,m not a noob, but no expert either, I would really like to trade thoughts with anyone that joins these sites.

Good review. I haven't tried PPC Kahuna but this review almost made me do it since I am a member of PPC Classroom and know what you are saying here is true. That being said, I have been very happy with PPC Classroom. You say PPC Kahuna is a far superior product, my only hesitation is you are promoting both affiliate links and the more profitable is Kahuna.

Any other reviews by actual PPC Kahuna users?

I am a PPC Kahuna user. I tried to get in PPC Classroom, but the payment wouldn't work for me for as was the case with others, so I can't compare it to PPC Kahuna.

So far PPC Kahuna seems outstanding. I'm not that new to Internet Marketing but I'm a little new to PPC Affiliate Marketing so I'm starting with the 14 day quick start training guide. Each day he provides a PDF guide file to go along with videos for that specific day's training. There is also seperate training for the tools and software that come with PPC Kahuna.

One strong point I see with PPC Kahuna, at least so far based on the 14 day quick start training, is the PHP Power Tools (Weapon 4) that are found on the sales page. In my opinion, he could've expounded on those because they are extremely time-saving tools, especially Keyword Manipulator, Long Tail Generator and Keyword Phrase Builder for finding the best keywords for the niche you're involved in. There are some other tools also that help you write the ads.

If you're interested in it then I'd say try it out for 30 days and if you haven't made enough by that time to cover the monthly membership fee then cancel and get a refund. This is what I told myself and so that's what I'd advise you to do.

But if you have any specific questions I can try my best to help answer them for you.

It's a Windows program but it works if you use Parallels. In fact the training videos are made on a Mac by using PPC Kahuna in Parallels.

I am being bombarded by emails from Chris Carpenter of Google Cash Detective and the PPC Classroom guys since signing up for PPC Classroom.
Does PPC kahuna replace or do a similair job to GCD and Speed PPC or do I still need either of these tools?
I would appreciate your comments.

OK,

first of all I dont know why people are comparing PPCKahuna with PPC Classroom??

Apples & Oranges guys.

PPCKahuna is a spytool for keywords, PPC Classroom is more training on PPC.

I am also a member of PPCBully, Hexatrack and am considering GCD.

In about 7 - 10 days I will write a review with some videos of:

PPCKahuna Vs PPCBully Vs Hexatrack Vs (GCD maybe if I join)

The thing I see with GCD which I see makes it standout is almost the capacity to reverse engineer a PPC campaign BY THE URL.

All the others mentioned above let you get KW specific info but the ability to type in URLS and see what KW they are bidding on is a winner for me and maybe the swaying facotr to run with GCD.

I am hoping one system is sufficient to work on its own but I think I will still end up being a member of atleast 2 so that I have accurate data.

I wouldn't say it competes with Google Cash Detective at all. The training methodology is completely different than GCDetective.

Would you mind elaborating on that? I know what function GCD serves, but I'm still not getting a clear idea of what the PPC Kahuna tool does.

Hi Guys

Just signed up and started watching the first videos. My impression on this is very positive - videos are well structured/clear and documentation is really good.

The first video talks about how to initially research properly. Jason supplies a proper flow chart which actually makes sense.

Really well done in terms of clarity and structure. Also the membership interface is clear in terms of getting around.

I have not had a look at the tools yet - but if they live up to the promise it will be good because everything is integrated and tested.

Big problem with some other teachers/membership sites is the ad hoc way of suggesting this tool and then this tool and then you find out some glitch that was never talked about to start with. Really annoying when it happens. I don't want to mention any names but tracking and adwords integration is a big one for me.

Another one of the problems that I have experienced in the past with this type of training is that its hard to know where to start and what logical progression to approach the methods.

But, I am relieved, this is NOT the case here. Also, Jason appears to be a straight shooter.

Summary - This looks a pretty professional site to me. This is just a genuine impression - I am not trying to promote it. But you have to recognise when something is being well done.

As a community we should acknowledge the people doing stuff properly and professionally. They are in short supply.

As I go along with this I'll post an update to see if everything stays on course.

So how does this compare with GCD2 that is coming out?

Other than price.

Thanks.

The simple fact I can type in an affiliates hoplink or tracking link and get all their KW is tops..

This means faster launch, and certain results..

PPCK is still lacking that missing link IMO.

Thank you for the feed back Jay.

I am hoping I can come up with enough money to buy it.

Genius paragraph. I'm keeping that one in my daily diary.

---

I'm with TK and probably won't join PPCK as I won't use it right now. But TK is one of the few exceptions to the "promise big, deliver small" rule we see in IM.

So Jason K makes truthful promises on his sales pages in my experience. In IM it's so rare to find this. Truthful meaning significantly unexaggerated.

Anyone know how much GCD2 is going to cost?

I ask this because from what I can tell its between PPC Kahun and GCD2.

I like the fact that GCD2 will allow me to see what ads are sending traffic to specific sites. I think that as a tool is invaluable.
