Proxy lists are junk. Just because proxy box that you are not controlling is being controlled by the same people whom you want to be anonymous from. And you never know who have access and control over to paid proxies either. Proxies and proxy services attract unwanted attention from all kinds of entities. Rent VPS off one of the internet providers in Europe. It gives you root access and you can either forward all your browser requests through them, or login into them and browser directly from the box. VPS attracts much less interest and gives you much higher probability of privacy and anonymity. In some cases it affords you 100% of privacy and anonymity - which is never achieved by other methods.
