Default is there any free bulk file uploaders/downloaders

hi, im on making my new site as my last one had high costs, anyway, as i sell a lot of health/fitness dvds with resell rights ive created all the labels, covers and have the psd files to.
the whole file size is 1.67gb and im wanting to upload them so my customers can download them for free.
ive currently got them on media fire but ive realised for them to download in bulk they will have to register for mediapro.

Are you talking of "bulk" or "large size".. both are 2 different things...
bulk = 100,000 files of 10MB each
large size = 1 file of 1GB each

What are you trying to do?.. my guess is "large size"...

Have you tried setting up a small SFTP server at home? If you already have a linux box, it costs nothing...

i have 80 jpeg images,ie the dvd covers/labels and i also have the 80 photoshop files of those images so the customer can edit them for their own branding.
so 160 files total is 1.67gb

cheers

Most free file share sites put a limit of 100mg per file- and a limit of total files
Do a search for file sharing - you mind find better - but I doubt you will get a free one to do what you want.
You could ftp them to your hosting and provide direct download - use a script to secure the downloads - depending on the volume of sales this may slow your site or even cause problems with host re: excessive bandwidth use.
You may also consider amazon s3 - not free but not expensive either

Hey Ray,

Have you checked out DropBox? I can't tell you a lot about it, but I have heard good things..

Max.

You can ask your client ton download and install flashget, a free dowload manager, Automatically splits files into sections, and downloads each split simultaneously. Download jobs can be placed in specifically-named categories for quick access.
