What is the best IM or SEO course you have ever gotten or heard of? The course can be from anywhere on the net, not just the Warrior Forum.

Share your experience with me and everyone on the forum that my come across this post.

Thank you.

"Best Internet Marketing Course" doesn't exist. You've to learn for yourself.

Personally, I started with Warrior Forum. Spent about 4 hours/day for a month reading threads and posts on Warrior forum. After that month, I start experimenting with whatever I learned.

    Some things worked, some didn't.

Fast forward an year, I'm making a comfortable living online, don't have some rude boss telling me what to do, wake up whenever I want.

It just takes some effort and motivation to get started.

Agree. but some courses set themselves apart from the others and give you a head start on learning things for yourself. You can take what you learn there and come up with your own stuff later on.

You can buy a $17 ebook.

Or you can buy a $9997 marketing course or coaching.

They both mean diddly squat unless you are taking action on them.

Belive it or not, I have seen people by the $17 ebook and do better than those that buy the $9997 course... errrr why?

    Simple.....

they take action, test, write down what is working for them, and then just repeat it over and over again.

If you read and read and read....and then read some more, you aint gunna get anywhere.

I can come to the forum and help the great warrior here, why? because I have an army of affiliates, and outsourcers doing my dirty work for me. I give them stuff to do, that I know works, that gives me the freedom to come in here and muck around...or go to the beach and surf all day, while makign money. This life is one of the best i know.

It was hard getting here, but I would not change it for a darn thing.

But what is the single biggest way I got here. Taking action....infact I feel guilty each day if I am not taking action on something!!!! So that is the biggest tip I can give you today.

    Actions breed results.

I went through a few PDF style courses, but there were technical hurdles that I simply could not get over just using these types of courses (and advice)

Affiloblueprint by Mark Ling was the only course that we have come across to go through everything from market research to site building and PPC. It needs an update in some areas, but for anyone starting out it does all the basics really well. (Just make sure that you unsubscribe from his list once you have bought it )

Whichever course you look at, having 'over the shoulder' video as well as pdf versions of the videos is really helpful.

Chris Farrell has an excellent program set up for someone just looking to get into this business or if they just want to expand their knowledge. Earlier this year he uploaded a whole new section on traffic that has been outstanding for my web business.

I highly recommend checking it out. If you would like to get a FREE eBook and see what he is all about then check out sig. You will also be able to get access to his video course on starting a web business.

I did the Challenge before joining the Warrior forum. Its a 30 day course and I recommend it to anyone who is new online.
It outlines all the basics of internet marketing and covers many different aspects. It helps newbies to make their first $ online and can be very helpful to experienced marketers too.

Here is the link The Challenge

Plus Ed Dale is a great coach! Highly recommended

Absolutely agree in less you put into action what you learn it is worthless, the cost you paid for the training or ebook doesn't matter without action.

I am presently doing a marketing course by Zach Waldman called "Action Plan Monthly". Everyday he has a small assignment for you to do. He calls it taking baby steps to internet marketing. I like it because Zach has an emphasis on caring for his students and making them feel comfortable. This fits with my personality.
That said I don't feel there is one "best" marketer course. It depends more on you than the course. It is important to build a relationship with your instructor but even more important that you work at what you're doing and be serious about doing the work and learning from the experience.

I honestly don't think there is a "best internet marketing course". Though my account is new, I've been on warrior forum for a while now. The best information is the stuff you'll find here. Find a method and take as much notes as possible! When you have enough information, start applying it.

Well, the question that you should be asking is “how do I create value” or “how do I find what people want” clearly since the beginning of time the only way to make money is to create value.

Some marketers like to use the term perceived value and that is a little bit beyond this post, so I won't go into that. If you are new to this business then I would suggest that you read everything that you can get your hands on about creating value.

Visitors have to want what you are giving away free and what you are selling. The free portion of any giveaway just leads to a paid product. You can call it what you like and the best example would be content.

Based on my experience, just be yourself. Let's use the make money niche. Most marketers in the warrior forum know who the big names are in the Internet marketing niche. Some of them are out front and some of them are behind the scenes.

Based on my upbringing, I’m more of a behind-the-scene kind of guy and I'm not interested in being in the limelight, but I clearly understand the business.

It was already mentioned but Chris Farrell had some good basics. They weren't extensive though.

If you really want to have reference material that summarizes the fundamentals of Internet marketing, you should have a dozen products/ebooks that focus on the main points or methods you want to work on. A summative book of basics just won't cut it with all the information that could be discussed, and no one course will get that down perfectly.

If that means more money to spend, then that's the price you'll pay for it. Otherwise, just stick to the experience and info you can get from reading threads on the Warrior Forum. It's more manual and less direct than buying a couple products, but it's the cheaper alternative that will still get you along the right direction fast.

Paul Counts and Jeff Wellman have a great course called the Easy Sales Blueprint. This is an awesome course.
Also, Eric Holmlund has a great free course at Eric's Tips.com where he gives 80 lessons on IM.
Nicheology is an awesome site with training, coaching, PLR to sell, tutorials, and business advice.
Jimmy D Brown has some great products to learn what works. He is no fluff.

Everyone has different interests and different skills, so there is no one course for everyone. The best approach to learning this stuff is read enough to decide what you want to do to build a business or make money online and then seek courses that will teach you what you need to know about that method.

All the basics can be picked up for free all over the net and on this forum and in the War Room.

Everything from keyword research, to domain purchasing to getting traffic and becoming affiliates or creating your own product.

The key is step by step checksheets that you go through and actually DO each step and then keep it up.

I like Unstoppable Affiliate by Andrew Hansen and Josh Stanton. It's all about how to make money online with niche sites. It's loaded with tons of content, and they teach a practical, realistic approach -- without all the fluff. You can use it to either promote digital-info products on Clickbank or physical products and make the most of the upcoming holiday season. Another cool thing is that there is also an optional coaching program you can choose to take part in.
