Hey

I am thinking of getting keyword elite to help with keyword research. I tend to just use Google keywords tool a lot of the time as I prefer it to all the paid ones i.e. wordtracker, keyword analyzer etc.

Is keyword elite worth getting. I think it was originally out in 2005 so I am not sure if it's dated now.

Any other recommendations ?

Hi, we've released a total of 226 software updates since 2005, so it shouldn't be outdated :-)

I highly recommend it. It's the one keyword research I use. In saying that, no one would know better than Brad.

Definitely a great tool. Once you have it, you will need no other. Although, I do use PPC Web Spy now to do some spying on my competitors. I have all of Brad's software programs and I keep getting emails telling me that they have been updated. Like Brad said, 226 software updates since 2005, and I can tell you that since I purchased it I have seen many updates.

I definitely recommend it to you. Did you go through Brad's keyword research course? I think you sign up for it on the salespage for Keyword Elite. It shows you how to do the keyword research and how he uses Keyword Elite to basically automate the entire process. It is a great course, and it shows you a lot about how to use Keyword Elite, so you can decide if you want to purchase it. I recommend going through that course first before you make a purchase.

Nice one guys. I have been using SEOElite and like that product. But I have used keyword packages before and they do tend to get a bit dated.
But this sounds good to me, considered it bought.

OK, good luck with it. I have it, but haven't used it in years. For some reason I prefer to get the data straight from the horse's mouth - from the Google keyword suggestion tool, that is...

I use Google's tool for keyword research. It seems like all tools give different results for search numbers. I personally trust Google's numbers since they're the ones with the traffic

    Hi

I have used many different tools but always come back to Keyword Elite.

I find it constantly finds me better long tail keyword phrases that I can use to optimise.

I use it in conjunction with other tools of Brad's like SEO Elite and Affiliate Elite.

You find a product you like and enter the product name and generic keywords into KE. Ten minutes later you have a ton of phrases.

    Prune them (essential).

Add them to another part and analyse competition.

Take the top sites that are reaching the top of the organic searches and pop them into SEO Elite and get a detailed analysis of their backlinking strategy.

Then work out how many back links you will need.

Then enter the keywords into Affiliate Elite and analyse the PPC competition. Then enter the merchant (if it's Clickbank) and find out who else is promoting and how. Enter those sites into SEO Elite.

Use AE and KE to monitor the keywords over time (although I also use GCD)

Find from this what keywords are popular. Enter them back into KE.

About three hours work with these tools will give you SEO competition analysis, back linking strategies, basic PPC analysis and a list of your main keywords.

Free tools are great. But when you want to get research done and done quickly, paid tools are greater.

Using free tools is pretty time consuming and takesaway from the building process of building an online profile.

Keyword Elite is great, get it! And if you can SEO Elite and AE (and Market Samurai if you can!)
