Well if you are looking to buy something then I would suggest the war room membership. You know, internet marketing really isn't that complicated -- you create websites with interesting content and then you build some (quality) backlinks, make a youtube video(s), maybe some tweets, some facebook links and few articles and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.. And when you hit a home run then you can make crap loads of money.. Or at least that's the way it has been for me. The reason why I recommended the war room membership was because I have actually benefited from that and that is the only IM 'product' I've ever purchased.. All the best of luck to you! ps. Sorry I couldn't really give you a better answer regarding those three products.. |

It really depends on what you're looking at doing. I'd probably recommend Turn Words Into Traffic by Jim/Dallas Edwards for anyone who wants to learn how to generate massive "free" traffic without being reliant on SEO and search-engines. If you were interested in affiliate marketing, I'd probably recommend purchasing the above in addition to Affiliate Marketing Schoolbook by Laura Burke. If you wanted to learn about PPC (especially AdWords), a good starting (and finishing?) point might be Perry Marshall's products. And John "XFactor" Robinson's Authority Site AdSense Guide comes highly recommended for anyone interested in AdSense. |

Nothing beats experience. Try some yourself, see what works and what you like, and expand.

Those are pretty eclectic choices. Try The Challenge. It is good, complete and free.

The Challenge is the best free course. The best course i bought this year is the Unstoppable Affiliate. It is well worth the price. I wish everyone would make videos like they did. Lots of short bite size videos, clearly demonstrated and great ideas. Plus pdf transcripts. Top notch.

While I'm not that familiar with "From 0 to Profits", I am very familiar with Vita Vee's forum - the information (and people) are Top-Notch. I think you'll do well with any of V2's materials. Michael |

You have mentioned 3 courses. Google sniper is the best one. But you need to learn and practice methods to get an income. Buying courses is not deal. You need to test test test...

I am curious how you choose those 3 courses? Anything about them that attracts you particularly? |

Profit storm used to be my favorite marketing program, until i actually put it into use. Don't get me wrong its a great course that go's into detail about how to set up your wordpress sites, but doesn't go into detail as far as how to take care of the backlinking. I just feel that its just a little bit outdated.

It depends what level you're at. If you're a TOTAL newbie check out my signature course, I mean it's free. But it's for TOTAL newbies. Otherwise, if you have SOME experience you might want to try out Affiloblueprint or Affilojetpack by Mark Ling. |

Michael: Great point. Thin sites will almost always get crushed by a Google update. Whether it is an adwords slap or the panda update -- if you are reliant on a thin site for your traffic you will eventually get hammered. If you are going to enter into a market, be prepared to "Go Deep." In other words -- add value, build a list and build authority (i.e. build a real business). Jon | |

I have great sympathy for the newbies, as I, too, am one and found this forum after wasting too much money and time on marketing programs that sounded exactly what I needed, and were not. The marketers know people like me will respond because we need help.Once you're on one list it seems they all have your email. What many of us need is a blue print..from how to create a site, work with affiliates, learn SEO, etc...In my case, I know my profession and products well. I have been a national speaker and successful in my field. I want to virtually help others with my skills and resources..I know who the right affiliates would be with products related to my field and expertise, and I know my target market. It's the steps to take from a successful physical business to a successful virtual business that is difficult if you are not internet savvy. My technology skills include basic social media, smart phones, and specialty software programs related to my profession. Words and abbreviations like HTML, WSO, SEO, etc. was a language I left up to my web masters and web host. Now, the internet is changing my profession to the extent that the vast majority in it, will not have a long future (this includes me) if they don't figure out how to make the transition on-line and get more in-line (and networked) with affiliates that can enhance their valued services and/or products. I've gone through a range of emotions since I've started my research in the past few months. Originally, I was soooo excited that I had this great idea of how I was going to help people and make money on-line...so much easier than my physical world of business (not so far!) Than I started researching and reading..I became discouraged and intimidated by the required technology, blogging, internet knowledge required from basic web building, to how payments work, affiliate relationships, social media connections and how to manage it all. Reading one book, leads to another, one website to another, one "Ultimate Offer" to another.. I'd go from "THIS IS IT..I can learn from A to Z, and finally get down to business!".. Than I'd realize something was missing,it was too advanced, or had bad reviews... More wasted time and money. During this roller coaster ride from "Yes! I can really do this! .to "There's no way I can do this". I was drowning in information and getting more confused than focused. Like Koubain, who started this thread with the question, I need a coach, or a beacon instead of sparkling marketing flares that die into the information abyss. We're tired of so many false starts and false promises. Much by our own doing. Perhaps, we each have to go through this process to sort ourselves through the internet marketing world and see what remains..and there's the answer. What remains might be what we've chosen as most effective, in advancing at our own individual level and ability. Depending on each persons goals, products, and/or services, I assume, there may different strategies, or recommendations. This forum has been a relief, a refuge, a place I can finally trust information and advice. I can search, filter and asses information as to how it best answers what I need. I wish I found it months ago. It has giving me the added confidence to keep me from giving up, as I have a reliable and trustworthy resource for information, and it keeps me in check by validating there really is not a "get rich quick" internet secret..but, work, persistence, strategic planning, quality performance, and valued service, or products along with research and credibility verification for anyone you affiliate with, or hire, should eventually lead to success..and of course, constant critiquing and improvement. Maybe what we, Newbies, need is an assessment coach to asses how best we market want it is we want to bring to the internet and assess what level we are at with product/service knowledge/expertise, along with social media, technology, and internet skills. From this assessment a newbie could get a faster and more effective start.. Any assessment coaches out there? Regardless, I'm in or the long haul; I'll eventually secure my place in the virtual internet ocean because I have the passion to do it, believe that my product and service is valuable and needed, because, I love to help people and, lastly, because I do want to be successful with it. |
