Hello again Warriors.

I am thinking of setting up a forum and I want to know if any of you have any experience with the free software SMF or phpBB...

or if I do pay for a hosting etc, what would you recommend and why?

You do have to pay for hosting if you want your own forum... Just because a script is free, it doesn't mean you don't need your own hosting to use it.

phpBB is excellent. I used it for years. You will need your own hosting.
