I have several domains I want to sell, and figured for now I'd park them. Is Sedo a good place to put them up for sale, and park them? or Should I just keep them at GoDaddy? Thanks, Art |

Hi Art, I've tried domain parking before with SEDO, goDaddy, WhyPark etc. but it seems the returns from domain parking doesn't quite work out for me. IMO, it's still worth the effort to develop 'em into actual websites ... the ranking, value and flipping possibility are much better. |

I am more interested in just selling them at the moment, as I don't have the time, finances, or outsourcing power to build them all. (Currently approaching 200 domains) The registrar is GoDaddy, so it almost makes sense to try and auction or park them there, and create a buy now price... But, after seeing the exposure Moniker Auctions, Sedo, Afternic, and some other "sell/park/auction" sites get, leaves me to wonder where to set up shop? Once I can generate some income, I intend to outsource some aspects, like Niche Site design, and then I can just provide content, writing, SEO, and the appropriate monetization (i.e. AdSense, Clickbank Products, or my own...) I just put one on Sedo, I'm thinking about grouping 10-12 on each platform to 'test' which yields the best results. I bought one website that was the last 2-word .org extension, whereby someone else wants $50,000 for (example only) sampledomain.org - So I bought sample-domain.org How the hell I am supposed to know what it's worth is the hard part, I put it up for $2,500 and almost feel it's too low ![]() I am 100% green to selling domains, so I guess...trial and error is the only way to learn! All the Best, Art |
