Arrow Sublime Video Review

I'm just sharing my thoughts on SublimeVideo which I used for my business during a short period.

At first I really enjoyed Sublime, but then I started getting messages from members that the videos weren't playing properly (hosting was fine).

I'm not going to totally blame the video player itself, but it caused me a lot of problems.

Overall it's an amazing video player, but it has a lot of small kinks on different browsers, operating systems, and the likes.

Favorite Things About Sublime Video
  • The hover feature.
  • Switch between HTML5 and Flash
  • Elegant design.

Problems with Sublime Video
  • Monthly Cost (go with Vimeo instead)
  • Caused some browsers to crash.
  • When I launched a product, a large part of the viewers said the video had a split second black phase (not the actual video or my hosting)
  • Video sometimes didn't play.

So when it comes to Sublime Video, I wouldn't suggest using it for a salespage. I'm currently switching over 17 video tutorials from Sublime to Vimeo to resolve these issues.
