I'm actually in the program right now. I guess "success" is dependent on what you mean. It certainly has answered a lot of questions I've had with the process of making a business online. A lot of wholes and gaps in education with the specific steps have been filled.

Right now we're in week 4. This week is concentrating on how to create a list and the importance of the relationship with your list. He hasn't started talking about traffic methods yet. But he has mentioned several times that he isn't concerned with Google rankings and that he prefers social media for sources of traffic.

    I hope this helps.

OUCH! Four months and you haven't started talking about traffic techniques. What in God's name are you guys discussing?

That is weird because I've learned a lot from Chris. I don't know why he is taking it so slow... I can't imagine what takes so long to learn...

Day 1: Overview of internet marketing
Day 2: Affiliate versus direct response versus mlm/network
      Day 3: Marketing platforms
      Day 4: lead generation
Day 5: product development and personal branding
      Day 6: Group nap...

I love Chris, but you need to make money in the first 2 weeks or else you aren't developing the habits of IM industry leaders. They focus their efforts on revenue generating techniques, period.

Y does everybody obsess with front page Google???

Start obsessing with 6 figures in the bank account.

Also it should be pointed out that they were at WEEK 4 not 4 Months as you imply in your above post.

If you think you can take a Newbie from scratch and get them earnings thousands in their first 2 weeks, there are a few very nice shiny objects you might be interested in the WSO section

He didn't say thousands or any other amount-he said you should be making money within 2 weeks, and with support, that is certainly doable for anyone, regardless how new they are.

I agree, it's important to get to the money right away with some really basic internet marketing techniques-probably involving using some kind of lead generation page giving out a freebie like you can find all over the web, and then followup with more helpful emails, and sprinkle affiliate offers in. Bingo-your first sales, and then refine the process with more advanced tweaks.

There is so much to learn that it's easy for anyone to get confused and overwhelmed. A lot of people criticize IM courses for having info that "can be found free with Google and Youtube", but a key function of a teacher is to help guide the learner in a logical fashion, through the maze of info so they don't get stuck or overwhelmed, or confused by all the hype around the latest cool social media promo techniques, etc.

If they are drowning in knowledge that they found free, they won't benefit, but if someone breaks it down and says, "do this first, and forget about facebook, mobile marketing, QR codes, viral videos, etc. All that is great for later, but off limits for now-right now you have to learn to find a money keyword, and then you will learn to register a domain, get hosting, and tomorrow, find a report to give away, and then launch your first squeeze page.

Also, the teacher should break processes down into simple steps, and help the student get to the money asap using only basic stuff-a squeeze page, a giveaway delivered by an autoresponder, an affiliate link, and just one or two simple traffic driving methods. All that could be taught and assigned to be completed in the first 4-6 days, assuming it's a coaching program that people commit at least 1 or 2 hours a day to, and that it stays tight in focus.

I think it's best to keep it basic and teach the easiest way to get to the first few sales, because we learn a whole lot better when we are excited, and what better way to keep the student excited than to help them experience their first small successes?

Even as simple as the above is, it would arm them with critical skills and resources they will use for years. For example, they would have to get comfortable with autoresponders, keyword tools, how to select money niches, how to find good affiliate offers to promote, register a domain, sign up for hosting, point the domain at the host, install a page on the domain, some basic traffic techniques, how to create and edit a squeeze page, etc.

Sounds like a lot, and it is, but if it's broken down well, it could be taught in a few days-some of the things I listed take 5 minutes to learn if they are taught well. When I went to truck driving school, we were driving a semi the first day, and hauling a trailer the second day, and lives were at stake. This is a whole lot easier, and less likely to kill anyone.

Later they could learn refinements and advanced tactics, but think how much more riveting the course will be for them if right out of the gate, they are taught the basics by using their new skills to make actual sales. It's up to the teacher to strictly filter out anything beyond basic until the first sales roll in.

I think the most underrated part of a teacher's job-arguably the most important part, is to keep the student encouraged. We tend to have a tough time believing in our new knowledge until we use it to do something we care about; in this case, make sales. The sooner that can happen, the better. Of course most students won't make thousands their first couple weeks, but they can absolutely make their first few sales-no question.

You gotta remember this is aimed at complete beginners and as a result, everything is explained in very detailed mannor.

I got access for review purposes and I think it's a brilliant course for a beginner starting out as it truly does take you right from the start, to building a genuine online business.

I learned from Chris earlier this year as I am apart of his membership. I took the course because I was impressed by his teaching, and I knew he was going to over deliver and give great value.

I'm glad I signed up because there are some things he is teaching and giving away, that weren't in his earlier courses, and it's helping me to be better at IM

    My Review:

It is definitely worth the money. Like Jaja said earlier, their are a lot of gaps filled.
Yes you will make money! How much depends on you.

    1. Chris takes you from the beginning from niche selection to running a fully functional web business.

    2. The course is packed with loads of bonuses that will help throughout your career as an Internet Marketer. (Including some done for you websites for some profitable niches that have been thoroughly researched and can be used today)

    3. I have been in IM for about a year now, and one thing I see missing from a lot of marketers, is lack of technical knowledge. Now, I am not saying you will have a degree in tech support from CMM, but you will learn some of the "techie" things

We are only in Week 4 but overall, It is a great course.

By the way, I am no IM expert (In fact, I think I am just above a newbie, but there are people in the course who have been doing IM for years and have said they are learning more in 3 wks than they have in 5 years.

Also for all you SEO geeks, its all about list building with Chris. I mean I'm sure he will probably touch on SEO when we talk traffic, but realistically he is concerned with several other ways of traffic aimed at building your list.

Anyway, if you want more reviews you should go to IM Report Card. Chris Mentor Me is currently #2 on the top 25 in the product/service category only after 4weeks.
