I had been using Get Response for one of my IM lists. I moved my list over to Campaigner and was having 3 times the opens rate. Well long story short Campaigner shut my account down because I sent my IM list a clickbank offer. Even though I had spoke with them about it asked if that was okay. Oh well part of life. I have used Icontact and Results mailer and I'm not super happy with there services Does anyone recommend a mailer that you can upload contacts to and they would be okay with clickbank offers being mailed ? Thanks |

I like Trafficwave.net. You can contact them and see what they say. I think just about any of them would allow you to mail about Clickbank items if you went about it by sending them to a page on your domain first. |

Sort of. Here's a link to a quick video showing you how to import your list. How Do I Import a List of Subscribers? :: AWeber Knowledge Base |

Try any of the above and even try the one I use....Rapidresponsebot. It's reliable and you can track your campaigns. The best thing...the price tag:-). At the moment you can get it for $69 for life (no more monthly fees)....

I'm enjoying my infusionsoft account a lot recently. They're fast and you can automate the entire funnel. Though it's a bit pricey. Still, it's amazing. |

I prefer aweber but if you are moving over there, all your list will have to opt in again or you have to prove to aweber that they all double opted in by where ehy came from.

I just started using MailChimp. It is still too early to see how much I'll like it in the long run, but I am happy with them so far. Their flexible plan structures are what drew me in.

Try MailChimp. Free for 2000 subscribers and you can import. Interface is a little confusing at first but okay once you get used to it. Support is good too. |

Hello, I would like to know if anyone has good experience with free autoresponders. In this economy every little bit saved helps. John |

Constant Contact allows for import. I do not believe MailChimp will let you do that.

Autoresponders are one thing I never skimp on. I use both aWeber and Followup Autoresponder Pro (that's an installed script on me server; I basically rolled me own).

How about AutoresponsePlus? Have you tried hosting your email campaign on your own. I have been planning to move all my lists and manage it on my own, and from what I have heard from a number of Warriors, going "off the grid" and managing your own self is not a bad idea at all. Put this up as an option too :-) |

Has anyone tried the WordPress AutoResponder plugin: http://www.wpresponder.com/ I have it on one of my low traffic sites to test it but nobody has signed up yet. I ran through a test subscription and everything seemed to work fine. |

I moved from aWeber to Icontact and then swiftly back to aWeber. I know they are more pricey but they are like the "Rolls Royce" of auto respnders so I'll be sticking with them from now on |

For those of thinking of going over to MailChimp it has banned all affiliate marketers from using it's platform so stick with the usual ones i would go for aweber personally but i suggest you take a few free trials and see how you get on with the different platforms

I have an account with 1Shoppingcart and I'm sure you can upload contacts to them, however they may require them to confirm. Aweber requires the same. iContact didn't require me to have my list to confirm so that's another good one. I believe ContstantContact doesn't require them to confirm, but you might want to make sure... If you don't mind having them to confirm, them all of the above should be good options for you.

well it seems I am in the minority using getresponse. I'm afraid I cant comment on whether they are any good, because I'm still struggling to get my head around building a list!

Does it matter if you do double optin or not? Since the autoresponder service handles that, seems like it would be transparent to me. And you would get more subscribers with single opt in. Im leaning towards imnicamail and trafficwave: one is single opt in and one is double. I want to be sure to not 'lose' a list if i need to change to another autoresponder for any reason.

Mailchimp expressly precludes affiliate marketing in their terms of service, and if they find out that you've done any affiliate marketing, even if you don't use their service to do it, they'll still close down your account, and they even admit this openly, as explained here. Their frightening terms of service also prohibit so many other natural uses of autoresponders that it's by no means trivially easy to envisage who is allowed to use it. (Perhaps just someone promoting their own product, which has absolutely nothing to do with making money, and absolutely nothing to do with any other topic on Mailchimp's very large list of specifically excluded issues???). Anyway, it certainly seems - unsurprisingly - that large numbers of Warriors have lost their lists there. This thread illustrates some of the potential long-term hazards of using Mailchimp. This thread illustrates some more of them. This thread does, too. I strongly advise anyone wanting to develop long term income from internet marketing to stay away from "free" autoresponders. This subject is really something of a no-brainer. Still, as is often the case, some people "just get it" and others "just don't". |

I'm leaving MailChimp because I learned about their ridiculous stance on affiliate marketing not too long ago. Don't know why that escaped me before joining, but it did. I had already signed up with aweber, for about the 4th time -- but once again, they showed me their ass and so I'm leaving -- for about the 4th or 5th time. I hope this will be my last switch. A word of warning: if you ever need to switch autoresponders, it's better to move from a required double opt-in service, as most of the ones I've seen or used are because that really is considered the standard and some autoresponders won't accept your list if it's not provably double opt-in.
