Hey guys, I wanted to ask your opinion on two things please. Could anyone point me in the direction of easy to use, low cost (or even free) video recording software that allows editing? I have camtasia 30day trial, but its a lot of money and i DO need the editing feature. also, I'm currently using anymeeting which is free, but I need something that can also be edited for replays and again is very easy to use and most importantly, low cost and preferably with option to integrate playback or webinar into a wordpress site. Any help would be much appreciated - cheers Arfa |

You should check out download(dot)com owned by cnet. All scanned and clean softwares. The good thing too is most softwares are free. Just search for what your looking for and you should get something. If not type in google search 'open source video recording and editing software' |

You can record your video with CamStudio and edit it with another tool. I've camtasia studio but if I were in your situation - I'd search for a video editing software to suit my needs on sites like SourceForge. Good Luck. |

Hi Arfa, You could try and use Camstudio and edit it with Windows Movie Maker? For the webinar platform, you could try with GVO Conference. Used to cost about 44 bucks a month. Now its just 10 bucks a month plus you get other tools as well. Go check out GVO Host Then Profit. Cheers. |

This one is being given away free today (November 4th) only , and looks interesting: Giveaway of the Day - free licensed software daily. Screen Recording Suite - Screen Recording Suite is a simple yet very powerful screen recording program. I haven't used it myself, so I don't know if it's any good - but hey, the price is right! |
