Viral ebook explosion

I'll probably make someone mad with this... but this is a little frustrating and overwhelming. Somehow I found a site for Jeff Dedrick's free viral branded ebooks. Actually I think I originally found free viral affiliate videos. Sounds incredible, looks incredible... but. At least 3 upsells (everytime you say no thanks - the price is adjusted down to the last $1 offer). I wouldn't mind paying, but I wanted to try it out. Plus it leads to other "free" viral ebooks, free etc, free etc. Each has the same pain in the but upsells and down prices until you finally get LOST and end up in one or more of the (programs?). I'm not knocking the guy. It's a good idea and possibly a good product, but it's really hard to get to the meat. Plus, it seems that all the affiliate videos (which are actually pretty good) are for his products or his network of identical sites.

It still might be ok, but I am so overwhelmed with the bs that I can't even think straight.

Does anyone know about this product (and the half dozen similar products) from Dedricks? I would even welcome Jeff - assuming he's a fellow warrior to respond or even pm me. I like the concept, but what an overwhelming pain in the but for such a simple thing.

Wow, that was a quiet thread. I had forgotten about that post until you commented. Still haven't heard anything. I still think that this kind of marketing tactic is not very good - but who know, maybe the guy's making a fortune. I wouldn't do it to my list.
