Default Traffic Launch Pad

Traffic Launch Pad is software you install on your computer that will supposedly get you push button backlinks to your websites. Normally I wouldn't bother with this, but it is really front-end advertising for Auto Traffic Buddy by Jason Potash, so I figured it was worth installing and trying out.

Big mistake.

The software and guide do not tell you want the sites are, or what the backlinks will be. Yes, that was a red flag.

I fired up the software, entered a site, and saw the first website being submitted to. The name of the websites are hidden by the software to prevent you from knowing what they are. Yes, that was another red flag.

But the first website immediately became known as it tried to pop a cookie - but I fortunately have my browser set to manually accept cookies.

It was some site in apparently Chinese and manually accessing it to check it out caused my anti-virus software to go bonkers as malicious attempts were attempted to access and change my computer settings. Then another dubious site and I couldn't shut down Traffic Launch Pad fast enough.

It was immediately removed from my computer and now I get to enjoy lengthy virus sweeps of my system.

These were not the type of sites I want backlinks from.

Downloading software to my computer that reports who knows what back to the maker, that attempts to create intentionally hidden backlinks to my sites - ok - not the smartest move I've made in a while.

Thanks for that! I just recovered from a major meltdown and in reviewing the software, I see that you are right. Perhaps this is what caused it. I thought at first my hard drive was physically failing. Fortunately I was able to reinstall a fresh copy of windows and had previously backed up my documents. TLP is off my system and once the virus scanner is done I'm imaging just in case.

Well that sucks you had such an issue... I created this tool so i did not have to manually add them each time. I have personally gone through and verified each site. We are constantly testing this too and make sure the sites are alive and working. There are only a few chinese sites, but I will double check them all and ensure they are all good. I will also make sure that it does not allow any pop ups or anything like that.

It is a powerful indexer and does help your site but I will certainly look at what site you are referring to.

Oh and there is absolutely nothing communicated back to us from your computer. I understand your frustration about the site in question but the tool does not communicate to us about anything. Dont need to be adding "Assumptions" here please.

UPDATE: Decided best to just remove all sites similar to what you were referencing. Better quality anyway.

Hi,

This is my honest opinion on TLP software:

- I have installed the software some week ago and I have ceck on some website that have a different level of competing. The result is the follower: one site was in second page and after launch the software the position is now in 3 spot in page one of Google; one site was in 4 page of Google and after launch the software now is in 3 spot in page 2 of Google; for another site I haven't see any results.

For my experience the software works but I have not try it for a longer time.

Which is your experience?

Thanks

Thanks for the post and I'll give the software another go around.

I wouldn't have installed the software if I didn't already trust you. Maybe you should change your Warrior Name as I would not have guessed you are canuck1972.

What's wrong? I've been using this on my Mac and not a single problem. In fact, it helps me index my pages.

I ran 3 sites through this software and didnt notice anything funky. Double checked with a Malwarebytes scan - zero problems.

Have yet to see results. Maybe i should wait 24 hours before checking. Will report back if it does anything good.

Would love a little report page at the end of submissions. But I understand this is free software to sell bigger better software. If results come anywhere near the testimonials, I'll surely buy the bigger better software. It would be a great resource to run my client's sites through to get them off and running.

Well, its been 2 days, and my results were disappointing. The first site is about 6 months old, home page 100% optimized for my keyword. Went from spot 24 to 23. The 2nd site, a brand new site nowhere in the serps, still nowhere. The 3rd is a couple years old, not fully optimized but just recently fell from spot 8 to spot 11, still at spot 11.

The disclaimer states they cant promise results like the testimonials, but I really was hoping for more.

There are instructions in the pdf that comes with the software for a little added boost. Maybe I'll try that next.

Hmm I have tried it, three weeks now and my site that is 3 months and some weeks old still does not appear anywhere in Google. Its doing fairly well in yahoo, even for the competitive keywords, except Yahoo has really little traffic compared to Google. Am still not yet satisfied with the software but let me keep up the faith, you never know what happens when Google finally decides to rank me.

I got this too. I'd say it's good for indexing sites quickly but that's about it.

I have used it on over 100 sites and really like it.
I have in fact seen decent traffic increases from it on new sites for about a day or so after using it.

Those are just my findings though.

You don't need to use things like to index your site anymore google does it automatically.

I guess you can use it to get more of your pages found in google.
