A few months ago I have try the services but have to give up as their support is very bad. I get a reply a month later after I request for refund from clickbank. Basically you create a exe file from eBook etc and submit to software directories. It take a long time to get backlinks but I am still getting backlinks till now. They have about 5 methods to get backlinks - bookmarks, exe file, calculators, rss reader etc. You need to create the above through some other websites unfortunately 1 or 2 service providers are no more in existence. I do not know whether they have updated the changes of service providers. After you are familiar with the system it take about 30 minutes for creation, but the backlinks may take some time to come in. |

The best way to get backlinks from software submissions is to find someon on the DP forums who can do it for you. Usually you can find someone who charges less than $100, creates the PAD file for you and submits to lots of SW directories. Yes you will get links but no it won't skyrocket your traffic overnight. But every link helps. And it does indeed take some time to do this yourself, so make it easier and let someone who knows what they are doing do it for you. JMHO |

shawny: You are breaking the blessed Forum Rules! RE: 30 minutes-backlinks: Yes, I have tried it and it is hard to say if it has made any difference... basically it's about spamming the software directories with crappy worthless "software" nobody wants. |

In my opinion 30 minute backlinks was good however I dont think that it was worth the $97, it is a new addition to my traffic generation methods but it is just good for some backlinks. 6/10 |

Michelle MacPherson's 30 minute backlinks 30 Minute Backlinks: One Way Link Building is a terrific video tutorial that shows you how to get a ton of High PR backlinks. Her videos make it simple for tech dummies like me to follow along. If you need help, you can submit a help ticket at her help desk Revolution Tilt - Powered By Kayako SupportSuite and in my experience, she always responds promptly. John |

I beg to differ. When I submit a support ticket about 4 months ago I do not get any response from her even after 3 days. I then send a reminder every day for 3 days and still no reply. Finally I give notice that if I do not receive any reply from her within 5 days I will request for a refund from Clickbank. Still no reply and at last I request for a refund after 7 days and still no response from her. I get a reply later on after more than a month. Quote:

Haven't stmbled across this 30min Job before but i have looked at this monthly service called nextgenlinks, it does boast some pretty amazing claims. Has anybody used the service? NextGen Links - Pricing. Link Exchange Pricing, Linking, Prices For Link Exchange Service and Link Partnerships. |

the idea is simple. post software to software directories. the same like posting your site to web directory sites. pretty tedious tasks. you need a good software to make it really effective, too many people have used this trick and make reputable software directories lift higher filter for submitted sw quality.

I think the same method is mentioned in Chris Rempel's "Lazy Super Affiliate" Handbook. That is for $30 only and you can learn a similar strategy I guess.

True, Anwar, Rempel's book is superior. But Michelle MacPhearson is not a bad marketer, too, and her ideas are good. It does nobody any harm to send around little pieces of software that people take voluntarily, while you can get useful backlinks from them, too. But the '30 minutes'-method is very 2008 now, there are other products that provide better results. Which does not say that MM stood still in the meanwhile. She still provides new ideas, most of the time with videos full of content. And she never takes long to reply when you send her an email or a comment to her blog. Yours, defendingly, Ed |

I found a very good free service for producing free one-way back links is the one referred to in my signature. It costs nothing to participate or to download the information that describes how it works. The organizers have thought it through and have a number of free PDFs that describe how to do it. They make their money by providing supplementary services (if required) as well as being able to obtain back links themselves. Ivan |

| It is a group of forums called Digital Point Forums (DP forum for short), the topics are similar to this forum (IM, getting backlinks, outsourcing webdesign and SEO services, etc). I guess many warriors here are also members of the DP forums.

i agree with finding folk on dp forum. i hired some folks in the past to do blog comment posting for me. they were good. they posted to relative threads on tons of blogs but the problem with dpf is that some times those good service providers don't last. i have not been able to locate those posters again ever since they first worked on one of my projects. i hate it because its hard to find good people.

Honestly I don't trust things like that. Going natural on getting baklinks is still the best way to go. But if it works then it is a great thing. But I really question the quality. It's al about quality. |

| A backlink is a link back to your website from another site. Use descriptive text in your links so the search engines know what your site is about. For example I have a web hosting site so I'd want my link text to be about web hosting. Andrew |

I haven't bought the product, but submitting software to directories will provide you with backlinks although it takes much longer than 30 minutes in my experience. Andrew |

To get backlinks, I would recommend writing quality articles and submitting them to directories. I subscribe to a service that spins each article so that each directory gets a unique version. In my experience, this has allowed more of the backlinks to 'stick' than any other service I have used (iSnare, Article Marketer). I regularly receive 100+ backlinks for every 1 article I write. It just seems to be a better return for my effort. You can also drip-feed the articles if you're scared of getting too many links too quickly. But in my experience this isn't necessary except for new sites. Focus on writing quality articles...this is important. You don't want to put &#*$ out there. But definitely find an article submission service that works for you to improve your backlinks. |

I signed up for a two week trial of Crowd Mountain and was impressed enough continue with the subscription. It's a very detailed set of videos on setting up Wordpress blogs and monetizing them. I'm looking forward to the next modules. Up until now I've only launched one email campaign but I think I can do better. At least until now I think Crowd Mountain is a good resource The only negative is their response to tickets. I have a problem with one of the Wordpress plugins and filed a ticket. It's been two weeks with no response. |

It appear that they have not improve their customer's service (please refer to my message #10). Just wondering how are they going to retain customers' loyalty if they do not practice what they preach ![]() Quote:

A while back I posted a message about my satisfaction with Crowd Mountain. Everything has changed. I was really enjoying the course and for some reason last Wednesday I was locked out for no apparent reason. All efforts to contact the company have gone in vain. I have opened support tickets only to have them ignored or worse, dropped altogether. I have emailed Crow Mountain and Revolution Tilt the parent company with no response. I have sent messages via Facebook and Twitter with no response. I have called the company using their contact number in my PayPal receipt (the monthly subscription started on May 26th so it shouldn't be a payment issue.) with no response I have never worked with a company that had such bad service. Unless I hear from them today I will cancel my subscription and recommend people to stay away from Michelle MacPhearsons products through her company Revolutiontilt including Crowd Mountain and 30 Day Backlink. If I hear from them I will post the outcome. Ira |

I am the manager at Crowd Mountain, and for Revolution Tilt in general (which includes 30 Minute Backlinks which is still an effective program and being used consistently by many). There were some support issues early last year which have been addressed (hired new staff...it's hard to find good staff and sometimes they are only good for a short period of time unfortunately). CM Boot Camp is a 6 module course that teaches you everything (via video and written transcript along with checklists) from keyword research & competition analysis, to quickly learning about your niche & staying updated within it, to building & optimizing your WP site, to achieving links to social networking and more. Outside of Boot Camp, Crowd Mountain Current publishes info, tool reviews & recommendations, how-tos, reports, and other marketing resources. Crowd Mountain also publishes 10 SEO'd WP themes, an LRB (links ready to build) package, a Niche Trailhead (research for new hot niches with the keyword data, niche research and other info already put together for you to pursue), and a live Q&A each month...along with the other content mentioned above. It also has a couple of exclusive member marketing tools, a members forum...and more. CM is shutting down to new members in about 48 hours for a site revamp. Once the site reopens, new members will only have access to new content (content published after the revamp) and not the past year's content (a year's worth of content published before the revamp). If you're interested, now is a good time to sign up so you don't miss out on all of that content. We have an awesome marketing family over at CM that are supportive to each other and share their CM journeys, their own tips, tricks and recommendations and more. Hopefully we'll see some of you there =) ~k |
