Hi all, I have a blog and am promoting an affiliate product but was wondering is there another way to do so without having the need to frequently post and add new content? Should I create a minisite and presell the product then do some article marketing or do I stick with building my VRE by creating blogs for each affiliate product but having to create lots of posts? I realize there is no 'Best Way' to do things but I want to be efficient and I'm beginning to think creating blogs is more work than i need to do. What do you suggest? Thanks, Trish |

No traffic = No sales. There are tons of topics that address traffic. Article Marketing is a great tool to start getting links back to your site.

Hi newventures, I agree no traffic means no sales. Blogs are indexed by search engines more readily than web pages but that still doesn't assure your blogs will get a high ranking. Content and search engine optimization or SEO for short is just as important for blogs as it is for web pages. Bottom line is that it takes time to build traffic with these methods. There are two quick ways to become a top affiliate. First is to enter into a joint venture with someone that already has a high traffic website, huge email list or both. The second is to simply buy your way in with traffic from pay per click advertising. As you might guess, the second method can be very expensive. |

There are progams that syndicate content onto your blog. You do not have to upload everyday, you could upload say twice a week and have an rss feed running on your site if you wanted daily site activity.
