After a horrible crash on my pc which nearly affected my external hard drives, I'm interested in online cloud storage to store all my information. I have no idea who is good, bad or just downright indifferent. Can anyone help. All suggestions welcome ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I've been using DropBox and it works well. In it's standard form it syncs files from the DropBox folder on your hard drive to the cloud. This is useful if you want the files to still be available if you're offline. In this mode it works essentially as a backup. The other option is to no sync to some folders, so they're only in the cloud. This could be good for some files that you don't want to take up space on your hard drive. |

I am currently using CrashPlan after Mozy went crazy with pricing. It's working great so far. I like that fact they have multiple ways of getting restored data should you ever crash.

I use Dropbox and it is fantastic if you also have an iPhone or iPad, The only downside to Dropbox is there free allowance is only 2gig that does not last long |

I would say it depends on how much data you have. I would say drop box is probably the best and easiest for you. Try it out for free at least and see if meets your needs. |

I also like dropbox. Integrates so well with the OS. Very seem less. Just don't share your public files with lots of people at the same time.

I use dropbox and it has been awesome, took about a minute to set up and takes zero follow up!
