Default NEED HELP! What Hosting Do You Recommend For....

Hey all,

I need an expert's opinion about hosting a self-hosted auto responder.

I have Autoresponder Plus. (I'm getting fed up with Aweber)...

If anyone could recommend a hosting option for this I would really appreciate it!

Thanks in advance!

Also....

Are there any other requirements I should be aware of before going forward with a self hosted auto responder....

I'd appreciate responses ONLY from those that have done it before! :-)

the only hosting company i know of that specializes in hosting AR software is

Hit Direct Standard Account Features

if you have a list of any real size you will need a dedicated server. most shared hosting accounts have a limit of 100-250 emails sent per hour. some dont limit their vps servers, and most hosting companies dont have any restrictions on their dedicated servers.

edit: added a new link

this thread also has some pretty good advice on the topic:

May I ask, why are you getting fed up with Aweber?

It's just that I use them and I think they're great.

We all used to use AR in the early days but I don't know anybody who still does. Just getting your emails past the spam filters is a full time job. Leave it to the experts.
