I've searched and searched on this forum for some info on FB Trainer but can only find one review and that does not give much away.

Any one seen inside the membership area?

I've been looking for good FB training for 2 months - when I saw this it looked perfect - I bought it before their webinar was even over.

The material that is there is pretty good. BUT there is not much there yet. Certainly nothing worth $97.00.

They say they will be uploading more content soon.

Seems to me it would have been a good idea to create the content BEFORE you have a webinar to sell it.

Man, It seems like I spend half my time getting refunds for lame products lately!

      @Burnsai -

Yeah, I agree. I sat through last Tuesday's webinar, the one sponsored by Offer Vault, and was very impressed.

Since I, too, have been looking for good training on how to do FB marketing, I jumped at the $97/mo price .. since the other courses I knew of where priced at like $997 (one-offs) .. especially since FB trainer was offering webinar attendees a 1-hour personal consultation.

Well, come to find out, they must be adding content on a monthly basis .. as they collect your $97 monthly fees ... so that it could be .. what? .. 6 months or a year before you have a complete enough course to make the big money they alluded to in the webinar.

And God only knows how long you'll have to wait before you get your 1-hr consult.

I emailed them the day after the webinar, asking them about these concerns, but I've ye to hear anything from them. I guess they're too busy counting their money.

If I don't hear anything - anything satisfactory - from them, I'll do like you: ask for a refund.

BTW, if anyone on this thread finds a good, comprehensive and affordable FB mktg tutorial, please post something about it.

      Thanks,
      Richard

PS In fairness to them, at the end of a year's membership, there might be a very good course available - but I, for one, can't afford 12 X $97 .. let alone hang on that long .. I need to start making some money sooner than later.

Looks like we are all in the same boat -- what is a joke is that in the member's area their phone number to call is 888 555 1212 -- information!

I sent my 4th email to these guys this morning and had "Am reporting you to the Attorney General's Office" in the subject line and I got a response almost immediately!

They said they had no record of me as a member -- so I emailed them back the Click Bank transaction receipt and have not heard anything else. I also went to Offervault, since they basically endorsed the product and asked them to look into it -- no response. May others need to do this as well - they are tarnishing their brand pushing offers like this.

Perry Marshall is promoting a new FB course -- do not have the link -- easy to Google -- about $800 for the live course and $399 for the digital only. Perry is the real deal as far as I am concerned, I liked the FB program of $97 a month.

If I don't get anything back from FBT, then will contact American Express and let them deal with it and get on board with Perry.

        Tim

We don't have a support phone, that was the generic FBTRAINER | Portal phone. I didn't even realize it was showing up.

Okay, I am going to comment on this thread ... even against all my judgement

fbtrainer has been on the market since March, at which time we charged $697 - $897 for the course. There is over 200+ members that have paid a lot of money to be a member. So when Clickbank "ASKED" us to put it on there platform we had to scale back and drip the content. We release content bi monthly / monthly ... its not a normal info product.
It's an educational course, its not a get rich quick - even thou you can get rich from my methods.. As I have.

The Webinars for members are starting the first week of August, we wanted to get time for the new members to get in and comfortable.

If you have an questions, PLEASE contact FBTRAINER | Portal that is our support site.

    Thanks guys,

Also. We are not scam artists as mentioned . I own offline companies that do 7+ figures a year. I bought and sold my first company at the age of 15. Not only that, I have toured with Top 5 artists and started out a few WELL KNOWN Hip Hop artists!

So, I am experienced and have the skills to teach you.

Hey Michael I WAS a member of fbtrainer and I sent support a question about the modules 3 & 4 and got no reply after 4 days. Is there any chance of you spending some money on your support system since you've toured with the top 5 artist and and and and started out a few WELL KNOWN Hip Hop artists! Mr. 7 figure earner, just sayn.

Threads like these are why I joined this forum.

I was on the original fbtrainer Offervault webinar and I have to admit: It was without a doubt the most excited I have been about a 'product' I've been in a while. HOWEVER, havingbeen in the affiliate realm for a while I NEVER jump at a new shiny toy product no matter what the deal. The one aspect of the webinar that made me pause was the fact that Michael was answering questions and basically admitted he forgot about a pricing difference on their actual website vs. The webinar price plus an addon not mentioned until the end only because of a listener question.

So a word to the wise: Go with your brain not your heart. You can see the responses on this thread from the creator of the product and determine if you want to give him $97/month. I have no doubt these guys DO know their Facebook backwards and forward but they need to be more business savvy and have an already made product when people start plunking down cash and answer basic customer service issues. Shame.

      @Michael -

Kind of ironic, hearing (indirectly) from you in the WF .. and then only after several of us posted less-than-positive comments about our experience with FB Trainer.

I sent several emails to your support email address about a week ago, and I have yet to hear anything from you or anyone else. When can I expect your response(s)?

      Richard

EDIT: As of July 29th - I stand corrected: I *have* heard from you guys, several times ... about how you'd like me to sell your product as an affiliate. But nothing in reply to the questions I'd (still) like you to answer.

        Come on. "Drip Content"

Man, I can't even tell you how much this pisses me off. I join courses like this to save time, which I value very highly.

You have wasted ALOT of my time, first with the webinar, which turned out the be incredibly misleading, then while searching your portal in vein looking for $97.00 worth of content. Then with the 2 emails to your support desk (which went unanswered), then with the refund request which has so far gone unanswered, then with the other refund request to clickbank.

Now with the multiple posts in forums to warn people to stay away from your course.

Hopefully I will not have to waste even more of my time with a complaint to Paypal and a nasty email to Offervault telling them they are morons for not checking your course out before endorsing it. They have got to be pissed off that you have tarnished their reputation and probably instigated what will surely be one of the most massive instances of refund requests in IM history!

Please people - STAY AWAY FROM THIS COURSE!!!!!!

If you work with a network then you will have more insight on how to get your ads approved on facebook. if you are looking for something basic that just tells you how to use facebook then go to their portal and look at the links at the bottom of the page and click on the top you are interested in. Then you can find how to's.. also try searching on search websites and just put in your topic of interest.

After buying and returning 2 products I finally found one that is worth while:
      tshirtsystem dot com

It's more about using facebook ads to drive traffic to your page then monitizing it - but the section on setting up pages is great - actually the free sales video is better than the other 2 products that I just got refunds for combined.

Free Advice - Although maybe I should charge you $97 for it: Re-read your original post about commenting here "against your better judgment".

I can't speak for the others, but I *was* a member at the time I posted my original comment ... but I have since cancelled.

Kind of ironic you didn't know that, huh? I mean, had you read and/or replied to any of my emails, you would know that .. wouldn't you!?!

Maybe you should quit commenting now before you shoot yourself in the other foot.

      Thank God for Clickbank's 60-day, money-back guarantee!

      Richard

PS Under the heading of "Insult to Injury": Instead of emailing me with answers to my questions & concerns, you emailed me about marketing FB Trainer as an affiliate. Nice touch. Classy.

I listened to that webinar. At the end of Michael says something like this,

“All you need to do to make money is follow exactly the same campaigns we put up on our site. If they are not working for you, or your or not making money, I personally will go into your Facebook account and adjust your advertising so you will start making money”

Now, they are not even answering emails, I am glad my instincts were correct. “When something sounds too good to be true, it probably is”.

I've been waiting for answers to my queries since joining after the webinar on 19th July. The log-in issue seems to be resolved but the lack of response from the support team (whoever they may me) is dismal. So much was promised but unfortunately nothing has been delivered apart from the basics on the fbtrainer website, which is definitely not worth $97 in today's market - even though the content is good.

I cannot see how they will be able to justify a $97 per month subscription fee as things stand.

I have submitted numerous queries via email, support and as well as to their FB page and not received any response. The worst part is that the queries on their FB wall are just removed by themselves and not even answered ( as well as other member queries), which means that they do have time to actually check the questions.

It's a real shame as I really believe in the product and in what they say about FB being the current market and the way to go. I just wish that they would treat paying customers they way they would like to be treated.

I'm going to give it a bit more time in the hope of some response.

Just to let you know I gave up waiting and refunded - bit late in posting

      Thanks for posting that!

I checked it out & was a little confused, though. It seems like, in order to get access to this FB Course, you need to A) first join VTC (for $30/mo.) & B) then purchase the FB Course (for $99.95), is that right?

I like the idea of being able to preview the first 3 chapters of each section of the FB Course, but apparently I have to become a paying VTC member first, right?

And I can't just buy the FB Course without first subscribing to VTC, right?

      Thanks again,
      Richard

        Quick Update:

The Tshirt system is sold out - the private member group is not that great yet but I like the course alot. Simple and to the point.

Now, as for the original program FBTrainer... I hate to give them any props at all after Michale's Snide comment, because YES I WAS A MEMBER! That was the problem - I actually paid money for the course - I got a refund because the members area was VERY barren at the time I joined up.

Now, here are the reluctant props - The FBTrainer guys just sent me an email (I guess I'm still on their members email list) and the email had links to 4 videos of training they did back in April and May.

        The videos are really good!

So, now I'm wondering - why the &*%$ didn't they just have these videos in the members area before they launched this product. We all could have avoided a great deal of unpleasantness.

My take on the whole deal is that these guys had previously launched an expensive Private Coaching course - and did not want to give the people who were only paying $97.00 access to the same information as the people paying $697, so they came up with the "Drip" deal.

In fairness, and after watching the 4 new videos, I would say the FB trainer guys are MUCH, MUCH, MUCH better at FB Marketing than they are at running a membership site.

Unfortunately, if I decide to rejoin I will now have to do it with a Pseudonym.

If you guys are still monitoring this thread, I have a question...

Do the $97.00 people get access to your FB group and the ability to PM you etc as you talk about in the Videos? And are you still doing all the challenges. Because that all sounds pretty cool.
