Hi all, Can you recommend any content/article writing services that have shown consistently high quality and reliability, and that you have personally used? Obviously, I'm seeking quality and cheap here. SO, how much would you pay for the above? $5 per 500 words? More? Less? |

In the online world and offline word too, "QUALITY & CHEAP" do not go together, but that doesn't mean that "QUALITY & EXPENSIVE" go together either... lol Are you just looking for articles? I have a few article writers that work for me, and I pay them anywhere between $6 and $15, depending on whether or not its an Article (500+ words) or Press Release (300+ words). GC

I know a lot of people who charge $5 per 100 words and more. Tough to find anyone good wanting to work for $1 per 100 words.

Hi, Kevinzeo - I'm an article writer, and I'll be happy to write a 400 word article for you for free. Why? I'm an experienced writer, a published author, and I'm new here. I want to get to know folks, and I want the people here to get to know me. Thus, I'm offering a free article. You can check out my writing on my website, P. Johnson Writing. If you'd be kind enough to provide feedback on my Client Feedback page, that would be greatly appreciated, but it is not a condition of the offer. Yours, Paulette Johnson |

So, he gets a free article.... Then when he loves your writing, how much are you going to charge per 400-500 word article? GC

I write consistently high-quality articles for $150 per 800-1,200 words. But mostly serious business owners buy those, not your average internet marketer. -Ray Edwards |

I always shudder when I hear the words cheap and quality as sadly it hardly ever seems to work out that way. I tend to write my own articles, and never outsource, not because I am tight or clever, just because I enjoy writing, but I accept that not everyone either enjoys or has the time to write their own content. I suggest you try the Warriors for hire section first, and then go from there. |

- Ask about their specific process (like, who does the writing? Is it outsourced? How long does it take to get a finished product? Who proofreads it?). - Ask about what they'll ask from you upfront (do they need you to point them in the right direction, or can they get to work with only minimal instruction from you? Obviously, you want the latter! )- Ask about their qualifications (what makes them better than the other 492,000 content services out there?) Yes, it will take you some time to go back and forth through emails, but it's a process you shouldn't skip if you're really torn. After all, the writer you choose is going to have a direct reflection on you and your business.

The Content Authority -$5/500 words Article Writing Etc - $3.50/ 500 words TCA's quality is slightly better. Although I would never use as posts for my money site. These articles work well for directories or web2.0s. |

iWriter can get you cheap, but quality articles. If you want the best writers you need to choose premium or elite. One thing to note: iWriter has a really fast turnaround time and really low prices. Even better? You don't ever have to pay for an article that isn't up to snuff. To be honest, about half of the articles that are submitted to you will be total garbage. That bothered me at first because I felt guilty when I had to reject an article. Eventually I found that a quick rejection with honest professional feedback and I am on my way. Often times your article can be finished in less than a couple hours (some more difficult topics might take longer for someone to write) What people are saying is true: Quality and Cheap don't usually go together. With iWriter you choose the quality level and the amount you are willing to pay and you get the comfort of knowing you will never pay for an article you don't like. I have both purchased articles and written articles for iWriter and been very satisfied. |

I think if you can find native english speaking writers, who work's hand in hand with other internet marketers, and writes the articles FROM scratch and can do it for $5 per 500 word articles, and even throw in some free articles (not spun or anything like that, still unique and quality), you'll have a team that you'll call on for all of your article writing : )

1. You need to check their credentials. Are they truly professional writers who have been paid to write for publications such as newspapers, magazines or publishing houses? 2. If so, review six to 10 clips (samples) and note where they were published -- if they were published. Someone getting published in the Washington Post is probably more skilled than someone published in a private newsletter. 3. Be prepared to pay real money. Not $5 for 500 words. That will buy you rubbish. Look to pay anywhere from 10 cents to 20 cents per word for quality articles where the writer is giving you full copyright ownership. Anything less is garbage. Why? Professional writers not only write superbly, but they also take the time to actually research primary sources that provide real quotes from real experts. They also back up their assertions with the latest studies. This takes time. Time is money for those who are really good at what they do. If you are focusing on cheap-priced articles, you will get cheap results. Cut-and-pasted mush that's been spun into nonsense. A good article that is written by a pro can boost your traffic on a specific page for years. The $5 dollar wonders just give you more content Google will ignore -- or possibly penalize you for. This may not be what you want to hear, but it is reality based on my 20 years of experience in the field. How to get the real pros? Place an ad on this forum seeking writers, offer the rates I suggested -- then take your time selecting from the cream of the crop. Otherwise, you will five dollar yourself into oblivion buying worthless rehashed crap over and over again that no one will really read. Before you know it, you will have spent several hundred dollars with nothing to show for it.

Yeah, honestly I have yet to find a $5/article writing service that wasn't complete garbage. Usually you spend more time editing the article than you would if you just wrote the thing! Like what lastreporter said above, the good writers just aren't willing to work for .01 / word. My rates are .05 / word, and even though that's super expensive compared to most of the writing services on WF, I actually take pride in my writing quality, and I'm actually thinking about raising my rates just because, well, I think I deserve a raise =) But that's not the point. The point is that outsourcing is suppose to save time and make your life easier...If you hire crappy writers, instead you will WASTE time and find your life not any easier than it was before, as a result you may take longer to really get started outsourcing the 'right' way and see those kind of corresponding results in your business. Do yourself a favor and pay more than $5 per article. Kindly, - Stephen |

| I have perused the site and found their content below par in every way. If you want regurgitated content with no authority and has a good possibility it was written by someone who has never spoken English in the United States, it is the place to go. Sorry, if I sound harsh, but I get so tired of people trying to make a silk purse out of a sol's ear. The cheap, churned-out content from these sweat shops are junk... . ![]() It is this kind of "thin content" that Google is talking about when it ignores or penalizes certain sites. |

+1 for Fiverr.com You may go through a few people to get to a good one, but man you cannot beat the price. I don't mind a little elbow grease now and then, editing my articles I have written. It's never too much work.

Thanks, Linda - I'd be happy to work with you. I take a lot of pride in my writing, and I refuse to add fluff and empty words just to reach a specific word count. I strive to provide excellent, original content. Merry Christmas, Paulette |
