Default Clad Genius -- Worth the Money???

So I have been looking into some auto-posting software for Craigslist. From what I've found, Clad Genius seems to be the most reputable software out there.

Anyone that has or is still currently using Clad Genius -- Is this software worth the money? Would you recommend it to someone who needs to post around 100 ads per day?

What are the strengths/weaknesses?
Is it fairly user friendly or take a lot of time and practice?
Is this program able to keep up with Craigslist's attempts to stop these types of software from being used?

Any info/advice/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hi,

I once worked with a client that was using this software. It stopped working a few different times due to Craigslist updates (to prevent this type of software). It definitely helps if you need to make a lot of posts per day.

The software has a steep learning curve, be warned!

I have seen software like this in the past. Most of them, in one way or another, have been discontinued. It would suck to fork over hundreds of dollars only to find the business that provided you with the software is out of business because Craigslist cracked down on them.

That's the crux of the issue. Craigslist KNOWS this software is out there and you can bet your bottom dollar that CL will update it's software to prevent Clad Genius from working as intended...

As for the OP's statement of this software being the most "reputable" software out there, well I say: any software that's designed to knowingly violate a site's TOS as well as degrade said site's user base by in effect spamming and skirting the intent of all ads being "local", this software (or any like it) are not reputable.

That being said, is it worth the money?

You'd had to calculate the cost of the software vs. how much return you'd get from your spamerous (is that a word?!?) postings. Additionally, you'd have to take into account the fact that if you purchase this software it may well indeed be the case that it won't work very long.

Personally, keeping what's right and wrong out of this equation, I'd head over to a torrent site and download the software free and ride it for all its worth. Save yourself some money and see if your ads would give you an effective rate of return.

But seriously, for all the people spamming Craigslist: please die -- slowly.

Figuring how long it takes me and how much time I waste posting ads that do bring in sales, I would think its worth it to invest in CLAD. But as the person above said, it stops working and next thing you know its discontinued which is another reason why I havent invested any money in it...because it will stop working. I need a good software that wont spam craiglist but can maybe do a few more then I can.

If that existed it would be GOLDEN.

Software ain't worth it, you are better off buying cl ads from posting services out there.
As an alternative there is one other methods people use to post 100s of ads on cl -but it doesn't come cheap at all.

What is this other alternative?

ive been using clad for about 8 months now and love it! I think though it really depends on what you want to use it for.

The niche that I'm in is really competitive, but if you play by the rules, you'll be fine.

In hindsight, yes, TOTALLY worth the money! You do need to have some patience as there is a learning curve.

And even though it's supposed to be automated, it isn't completely! Clad does offer a good support system so your questions are answered pretty quickly. I wouldn't trade it for anything, but I did spent A LOT of time getting it up and going to where I wanted it.

Just my two cents!

And no, I don't work for Clad - just my opinion!

I have one key good for two computers and I get on out average 800-1000 ads a day. It works like a champ. However again, I ONLY use it for one particular niche. All I can speak for is for what it does for me.

This software is not worth the money. I wouldn't advise buying it.
