Best Paid Traffic Sites Or Solo Ads? [NOT PPC]

Hi there Warriors

I have been doing online marketing for a while but never ventured into the Make Money Online Niche because I didn't want to be one of those gurus that preach about how to make money online, but can't do it in other niches - apart from the internet marketing niche.

So this means I haven't built up a list in the Internet Marketing niche.

But the thing is, I have a few internet marketing products and software I am about to release and wondering where are the best services or Warrior Forum threads to get traffic fast so I can build a list?

I am testing:

Buy traffic for website, get traffic to website, top online traffic - but so far the optins I am getting are really low.

I heard great things about:

Extreme Marketing Program - Website Advertising, Banner Advertising and Solo Ad (Email/Ezine) Advertising

But then again I haven't tested it.

My question is for the experienced warriors:

1. Where's the best place to go for solo ads
2. Which is the best traffic site to buy traffic (apart from PPC)
3. Can you direct me to some reliable WSOs that offer this service?

Thanks in advance and I appreciate your help.

Regards

Jackson

    1. You can search for reputable Solo Ads here: Reed Floren's Solo Ad Directory
    It's a list of solo ads from well-known IM-ers & WF members

    2. To search for media buying I usually use Buysellads

    3. You can search it through WSO360.com "Alltop for WSO" (look at in List-Building category for Nov & Dec)

You may be better off approaching a website that ranks well in your niche that has a newsletter, and negotiating a price. Ask them how many subscribers they have and join their mailing list to check the quality of the newsletter. There's so many useless lists being offered on ad swops etc.

First, I must reiterate what some else said...Reed Floren's solo ad directory is the best to start for solo ads...I have gotten excellent
        results from it

Second I would suggest safe-swaps, I just ran a solo ad on there
for the first time, a couple days ago, and got great results with it
        so far.

However the key to getting good results with solos and swaps is
having a high converting offer...so you're going to have to do some testing.

I have an offer that consistently convert over 30% no matter where I use it and it converted in the mid 40's with a solo ad vendor I found on Reed's list.

        ...Thanks Reed

That same offer just converted at 37% on safe-swaps...

My point is this, it took a lot of testing and searching to come up with
these kind of results, so if your offer is really good then you should do just fine with either of the two suggestions I gave.

        Best of luck to you,
        Terry

        I totally second that advise.

The single best way is to find the high ranking sites in your niche, approach the site owner, and negotiate to place a banner (or whatever) on their site, or in their newsletter (if they have one)

That way you'll be getting relevant targeted traffic back to your site (or offer).

And that's exactly what you want. Right?

And it's easy to find all these sites too. (If you know how)

I'd have to say that I've learned to stay away from sites that offer solo ad services.

Most of them are saturated because everyone's doing it. So you get someone elses list that is getting pounded daily with the same offers which renders them useless.

I would also stay away from the Fivver gigs that offers ridiculous amounts of traffic for 5 bucks; more than likely it will not be the traffic you want anyways.

At this time, one of the few things that has worked for me as far as traffic goes is FB networking; I build relationships, target my leads and offer them something of value and usually it pays off well. But different things work for different people, don't be afraid to find something that works.

        STOP... STOP... STOP...

why do you insist on buying all those scammy traffic programs? You're better off saving your money to buy reputable solo ads from Reed Floren's Rolodex...Reed Floren's Solo Ad Directory He's tested them all and lists his results.

So stop wasting money on all those scams...

I saw this before when I was looking into this myself, and in the same position.

I reckon MMO/IM niche is the hardest, which is why it's a great place to learn your skills. Making money is easier in other niches for sure.

I checked out Reeds solodex, and the first guy on the list looked to me like a scammer...I checked out a few more and weren't much better. So I kind of wondered why people promote this list of solo providers so much. There may be a reason, but I'll revisit this issue later.

Now I use safe swap, but that also has its drawbacks. You really have to consider that a lot, and I mean a LOT of unscrupulous folks have learned how to scam people, especially newbies, with solo ads. It's really easy to scam someone who doesn't understand the basics of IP addresses, referral's, URLs and the like.

Also, when you're new, the last thing you want to do is call someone a scammer without being confident you are CORRECT.

With safe swaps, the support/owners are pretty good at protecting people when they are first getting started. My second solo I think it was, this guy was sending me traffic from multiple ips on the SAME segment. HELLO??? these hits were all within 2 seconds. Sorry that's not living breathing natural traffic.

The good thing here is, I had a log (provided by safe swaps) of all the traffic, the originating IP, and the time. It's all right there. I sent the log into the support desk, and they kicked the guy and refunded me the money.

It is in scammers nature to believe they are smarter than other people, so there is still and probably always will be, those who will try and fool safe swaps too, but I do feel a lot better there than I would with say, Abel Chua, the first guy on Reeds solodex.

And don't count on Paypal on solos, they don't get involved in that. You will not get a refund from paypal. As far as they are concerned you got the clicks you paid for so there is no reason for a refund.

Now back to revisit why scammers or possible/probably scammers. I admit that I was at first turned off by this list, as I thought why would someone who is ethical be recommended folks who are obviously scammers. So I never considered his list (Reeds) again.

But now I think, if I was to go to a review site, and it only had good reviews, would I trust it? No I only trust reviews that AT A BARE minimum share some feedback on potential to improve. Or negative points.

So if REED was intending to simply list reviews (not necessarily recommendations, which was my first assumption) then him having people who have not performed well would serve his audience.

With that perspective maybe I will have another look.
