I finally got mailed the Webinar and like what everyone said, it's obviously recorded. I mean, everytime I clicked on the link, Paul Ponna making out it's just about to go live. I struggle to think how the greenest of newbs can fall for this.

The product is as advertised, but not the 'magic bullet' we'd all like
to magically appear in our inbox. I'm seeing an increase in traffic to
my links & have about a dozen long-tail front page spots already
w/o any real SEO effort. These doc sharing sites are ranked very
high in Google, even after the Panda update.

Little Update, for everyone that wanna know the status of my Commission Autopilot experience:

I've started some gigs on fiverr, for made some fast cash running the multiplier for a possible customer.

I've got one, around 4 days ago.
I've made for him a good pdf, with his link embedded.

Run the multiplier, no error, document submission complete.

Now, after this, i've checked every site of the multiplier for check the exact url to give back how report to my customer......

we mutual delete the gig......

then, i write this to the commission autopilot support:
-----------------------------------------------------------

............
...........
Now, of 18 website inside the multiplier, only 8 works correctly.

Docshare.com is no more avaible.

slideshare.net has some problem ( today don't work , i know, is not the multiplier problem this, but i think that they made some update)

isuu.com has some problem, if i check the login detail in the multiplier they works, but if i try to upload a document with the multiplier don't upload, if i do it manually it works, probably they changed something and the software can't upload anymore.

powershow.com request an account for upload, but isn't in the commission multiplier list ( Tools/Account )

slidesix.com don't work anymore, they suspended the trial upload functions, and is necessary open an account, but , you know, is not in the commission multiplier list ( Tools/Account )

Edocr.com need Account for upload, and with the free account you can upload only 5 document

Esnips.com need Account for upload.

Slideboom.com ....this is fantasitc....don't accept .pdf extension file....

Empressr.com need account for upload...

yuku.com this create a personal social network, don't know if works for pdf file....

so, in the multiplier there are 18 website where submit, and only 8 works correctly.

when Do you made an update of the software?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

For now, no one of the support answert to my request.........

Update....hahahahahha, is incredible, they don't read the support e-mail....i've ask for the Multiplier update, and they send to me the ACTIVATOR update.

Then, when i explain, another time, the problem, they just told me, the update is not ready yet....without any other motivations or try to explain why the software don't works....

I got an email in my box today which said, and I quote:
"Do you want to be able to make at least $100 a day with few minutes of
work using simple strategies?

If so, join this special webcast now!
[note: I've removed the link here because I don't want to promote it plus I'm not sure it's okay to put a link to a product promotion here; probably not]

Join Session NOW...

Regards,
Jeffrey"

I figured I was lucky that I'd gotten this invite just in time so I decided to drop what I was doing and join the live webinar.

Everything about it seemed to indicate it really was live. It even says something at the top of the screen like LIVE WEBINAR. And you can type in comments which show up in the list of other people commenting, and you can see people joining the webinar as their names appear in the list.

So he explains what it does, shows some of his accounts with a lot of $ in them, and says how great this is and of course I can buy it right now for only $47 and get a bunch of bonuses too, one of which is a free month of a membership site which will convert to a $47/month charge after a month. I now think I will probably have trouble stopping this $47/month charge based on the dishonesty of this phony "live" webinar that is not live. How do I know it's not live? I can click on the link again and again and every time it starts the webinar and he says the same stuff and the same people write comments etc. By the way, here's more dishonesty: He says "Don't leave the webinar and come back because it's full and you probably won't get back in!" The real reason is that if you leave and click the link again you'll see that it's a recording! I wish I had done that, but I didn't.

So what we have here is a totally phony email and a totally phony webinar that pretends to be live when it is not.

Someone on another thread about this (different web site) asked, "Why would anyone do this to their list?" Indeed, that is the question I am asking as well. Why would anyone take a list that is worth some money and use it in this way, to con people, (as in pretending it's a live webinar with a special one time offer for only those attending the live webinar).

If anyone (such as mod here) would like me to send them the link or a copy of the email I got, to prove how dishonestly this is being marketed, I'll be happy to forward it to anyone.

Now, as to the software itself, I don't know if it's worth it or not. I agree with whoever wrote above that I don't want to take other people's blogs and put my name on them. However I am a writer so I can easily write a bunch of blogs with some changes (The great Schmoogle allows that as new content, right?) and distribute them. And if it makes that process of distributing them to high-traffic sites that give me back links then it might be worth it to me.

I have not looked at the software yet and probably won't for a couple more days because I'm too busy right now. But I guarantee that unless it's really great I'll be asking for a refund based on the fact that I was CONNED into buying it with an elaborate deception to make me think I was attending a live webinar and being offered a one time limited offer.

Personally, this is the sleaziest marketing method I have seen since I began my foray into learning about internet marketing. I just learned a lesson that I didn't want to learn though knew I would learn it some day: Some IMers use unsavory methods to get your money. ;-)

As for one having to be dumb to fall for this, as someone above said, I don't consider myself dumb, just too trusting, and since I only clicked on the link once I had no way to know that if you clicked on it again it would start over, thus proving it wasn't live. I simply listened to the entire thing and assumed it was live because they made it appear live and said it was live. But certainly in the future I'll know to check for this type of thing.

By the way, just for the record, I looked up Paul Ponna here on the forum. He seemed to post here in 09 and 10 with his last post here being May of 2010. Guess he went on to bigger and better (?) things...

He may be a personable fellow if that's what you mean.
But in my view "nice guys" do not use deceptive marketing practices such as he used in the product promotion mentioned. I have unsubscribed from his list.
