Market Samuari, over it, what else works well?

Hi,

I have used Market Samuari for a few year now, but I am over how slow it is and now I can get it to work at all due to a retry limit.

Anyone got any suggestion on what else on the market they have used and can recommend.

I would try SEO Spy Glass and Rank Tracker.

They had special (SEO Spy Glass, Rank Tracker, Website Auditor, Link Assistant) for only $99 a few weeks ago...

Niche Finder is good, but don't throw Market Samurai away. They've just updated it as Google changed things. And I've heard from support there is one more module coming before it is raised out of beta.

Do you have the paid version? They fixed the "retry issue" in about 48 hours. It was because of a change at google adwords. I will admit it is slow sometimes. Maybe they are planning to phase out MS when they get Article Samurai really humming!

I've been using Market Samurai for a couple of years now myself. They always seem to get the bugs fixed quick. I bought a new keyword software tool from the forum a few weeks ago after some of the testimonials saying they like it better but I personally haven't found one yet that I like better.

Got Market Samuari working again, but always interested in new standards and software. Not keen on the monthly subscription fees tho. I end up with so many, it becomes painful.

I agree with you that Market Samurai is so slow...why not hire content writer instead? You know I tried Market Samurai but got frustrated because after gathering information available online, I still need "HUMAN Brain" to bring the best our it....

Just a thought.

I think you maybe talking about Market Samuari's other article program. I don't use that I use a content writer, the program I was talking about was the Keyword Research one, sorry if I got you confused.

YES, I agree market samurai is very slow and clunky. Highly recommend seo cockpit for keyword research, its very quick and runs on their cloud based servers. The analytics and results you can get are great!

I've used Micro Niche Finder and Market Samurai, but lately I have switched to Long Tail Pro... I find it much faster to use, and it's much simpler to use and get that hang of too. You might want to check that out.

I think the Google update has a lot to do with the problems with Market Samurai.

I just released my own niche research software, and had to make a lot of changes due to the update. Nonetheless, it works like a charm now

#1 - don't do KW research within Market Samurai. Do it in Google then download and copy/paste into MS.

#2 - Uncheck RDD, RDP, CA, BLD, DMOZ & Yahoo when running SEO competition reports. They are irrelevant and cause dozens of unnecessary pings.

There's also a popular tool being talked about in the AdWords/SEO forum. Long tail something. Sorry that's not much help, may have to do an advanced search of that forum.

Are you talking about the interface or the collection of data? Unfortunately the collection of data can only be sped up so far. They rely on third party services which aren't the quickest themselves.

I agree that the interface (being based on AIR) is limiting once you know what you're doing and become a power user. Clicking between tabs can become painful.

Traffic Travis is a good alternative and I believe they still have a free version which is more than adequate for keyword research and competition analysis. Micro Niche Finder used to be pretty good too.

I have found most others poor attempts and no many have the resources that MS has to over come changes to the data sources fast. Remember that a change to Google Adwords/Keyword Tool will affect nearly all tools.

MS integration with Majestic SEO makes the competition anaylsis a lot faster now too, and I don't know any other keyword tool that breaks that data down like MS does.

At the moment rank tracker has fallen over but the guys are working on it, and as per normal they have a rep for getting things done fast so it should be back up again soon.

my market samurai does not access, it has over a year... i dont know why..

now i just using adwords keyword tool to looking for some niche

i dont know if there is anyone can use market samurai well till now

I've been using it since I bought it in 2009. It is a good program. One of the best. If you can't access it, get support! But quit slagging one of the best programs out there.

If you want a tool that just flatout gives you high searched, low competition search terms, and you don't want to do a ton of analysing data... Then try out Brad Callen's Niche Finder.

Agreed, these two are both in my toolbox. As is Keyword Shinobi which is great for finding keywords from the other search engines.

Market samurai is very slow. Now I have switched to Niche finder, Keyword Scout and Traffic Travis. I use all these tools for different purposes.
