Is this a good place to have articles written?

We are looking for a good place to get unique articles written from USA writers that doesn't cost a ton. We are looking at metafever.com to write the articles for our blog

Have any of you used them?
Do you know of any good places to get articles written?

We need good articles pretty quick and really would like to know your opinion?

I guess getting articles written from genuin people is good thing. But you can hire 1 good content writer that will be cheap at well ..& atleast you cant trust him/her as they might be available in front of you !

I have used www.iwriter.com as well with good results - although I would recommend paying a little more to get decent quality articles. You can't really expect a $2 or $3 dollar article to be great quality.

Why do you want to hire a writer from US? you can search for countries like India, The English is superb and you can get FANTASTIC writers at a far lesser price than here in US. The only thing is that you need to keep a proper watch.. In any freelancer job if you are not paying attention you may end of losing money

It really depends what you want the articles for.

If you're simply looking for backlink fodder where the quality isn't that important, then by all means use a service that's "cost effective".

If you need good quality articles like your post suggests then I urge you to invest a little more in your writer.

Think of it like this...

If you were choosing a private Neurosurgeon, would you choose the cheapest or the one that had the best skills and experience?

I haven't used them personally but if you're looking for high-quality content that won't break the bank, then I would try out oDesk.com.

I use them for all my site's content.

There are plenty of them in the Warriors for hire section..just check it out the reviews and also the rates..im sure if you need plenty of them, they might quote you a better price.

We are looking for US writers because we have been hiring people from other countries trying to save money on the article writing but their English, althogh good is sometimes broken and hard to read.
I have found over the years that you can teach a VA from another country almost anything but proper English isn't one of them.
Don't get me wrong they do great work. I hire lots of people from the Philippines and they are great but I haven't had much luck finding a really high quality writer. So now I'm looking for a good US writer.

Very well said. I think I have decided instead of looking for a service I want to find a writer. Like a specific person that will be doing the writing instead of a service. Then I'll at least know the quality I should get with each article.

Yes I do need them to be high quality articles

articlez.com uses 100% American writers. However the Warriors for hire section as mentioned above is also defiantly worth a look through.

Elance.com and Guru.com have a number of freelance writers that can write quality articles at a reasonable price. Try also Craiglist local to your city.

The Warrior for Hire section is a great place to find writers. Place small orders until you find someone who meets your requirements. Always give your writers clear instructions so they know exactly what you need.

Also take a look at the 'Warriors for Hire' section here on this forum.

You may also want to take a look at the signatures of members here. Many of them are freelance writers. I'm one of them, but I'm certainly not the person that you're looking for. I'm not from the US.

I've hired a few warriors from the Warriors For Hire section. In my experience, you're going to need to spend a minimum of $8 to get a decent article. Below that, and you're getting people who use English as a second language.

Not every serious webmaster and person in demand of high quality articles can AFFORD to go through 20 people from India/Pakistan..just to find THE ONE

In all seriousness, finding a GOOD writer in those countries is not that easy and can be a matter of luck. Yes they exist...but you need to find them.

From Warrior Forum I found many article writers... but only 2 were really really good.
So my advices are:

1) SEO Generals (they are based in Asia but they write a really good english with cheap prices)
2) Max Zeller (awesome english writer, good in normal articles and on product reviews)
