Hi Warriors, Just a quick question to try and gain a view of everyones experience with Article Writing Etc. I ordered a few articles from them last week to test out. Knowing that they are cheap, I wasn't expecting anything amazing but the quality of the articles written were beyond crap! I don't think any research whatsoever was carried out! - One of the articles was supposed to be about radiators (exciting I know, but not exactly difficult!) and the writer started waffling on about toy cars and dust!! Obviously I sent a message to their support to express my dissapointment, as you do - but as yet no response. I wont be using them again, and am moving on to other writers suggested by fellow warriors, but was curious to see if anyone else has had a similar experience. Obviously they have some positive testemonials on their site, so either I've been given a dud writer, or.....? Mart |

Sounds to me like they either: - Spun your article - Got your orders mixed up - Writer was lost in his own world |

Sorry to hear this. But this is indeed a hurting truth when it comes to some "companies" who wants to start doing article writing. They either hire incompetent writes who cannot speak and write in English, or (solado is right) they are using some crappy article spinning software that sure can pass copyscape for being unique and all. But articles that are spun have poor grammar and sometimes are unreadable.

I placed an order with them just over a week ago for 5 articles. All 5 articles were delivered in about a week. To be honest mine were pretty good as far as grammar etc but mainly due to my lack of clear instruction they were not quite what I wanted (the articles were all spot on with regards to the keywords I gave but I needed them to promote my site, and not just be about the keywords..but that was my fault) When I mentioned this to support (I asked them how I can make my intentions better next time so as not to make the same mistake) and they offered to re-write them for me anyway even though they were not at fault.. I havent had the revisions yet but first experience seems to be pretty good..(certainly better than anything I have had from iwriter or fweez) I will certainly place more orders with them in the next week. The above is my personal experience and added in the interest of balance |

I ordered 20 articles from them a couple of months ago. I got them way too late AND they were crap.. After a mail they promised to rewrite them and they did.. but still not readable articles. They promised again to fix all the grammar and spelling mistakes. They said: Now we personally fixed all the errors and now they are good..bla bla But the same bad spelling and grammar. At last they gave me a refund. Never use ETC article writing! |

I have tried many article writing companies with bad results. We currently use in-house US based writers for content. Give ODESK a try for writers.

Iwriter.com is my go to for articles epically since you can decline the article if you do not like it and have it written by another writer

I agree with textbroker - it might be a bit more expensive, but I always get what I pay for and often more without having to go through the whole trial-and-error of finding new writers on Odesk.

This is what I experienced last year. I spent around $20 for article writing services, and in the end, all I got was some kind of junk. I don't know it is either my fault for not provide enough information on what I want for the writers or the writers are just not good. After that incident, I prefer writing my own articles although I am not that good. |

I've tried over 60 different writers and only found 3 good ones. The problem is the good ones can take weeks to deliver an article. They get burned out fast. Sometimes, you'll find a good writer and then they'll go bad. They'll start outsourcing or the articles won't pass Copyscape. I'm referring to the cheap writers who will write for $5 or less. I've never bought articles from someone who charged $25 -$50 each. When I read posts like this, it makes me glad that I can write. I'm lazy and bored with my topics, but I can write my own articles. I'd love to be able to find someone who can write a good article in a decent time frame for $5. It would make my life a lot easier. I don't think it's going to happen. I could pay $50 for a quality article from a good writer, but I'd might as well just do it myself and save the fees. I feel really bad for the people who can't write. They're at the mercy of services like this until they can make enough profit to pay a decent writer. |

I am glad I am a decent writer because I would not want to outsource my writing work. But I wouldn't use "el cheapo" writers because you get what you pay for.

I bought really good articles for $2.5 that were much better (=native English) than some $5 articles that turned out to be crap. There are bad writers around who ask high prices. | |

Anyone doing Article Writing (In General as I don't know about this company everyone is talking about) the phrase "You get what you pay for" applies 100% to this industry.
