Finally I have decided to get a mentor. I need to learn 1. How to pic a niche (Affiliate and CPA Marketing) 2. SEO 3. Keyword research 4. Outsourcing -Content5.Traffic Generation I have an idea about all these. I have built a few websites. Two of my sites had decent traffic(not organic though), but didn't maintain them to keep going. I have gone through CB Profit Storm 5.0, and Fast Attack SEO WSO's. But couldn't implement them (because of lack of focus and confidence). I also selected a few keywords, however I am not totally sure whether they will work. I want my mentor to help me in *Selecting keywords, *Managing time, *Outsourcing (content, WP Themes, SEO), *Drafting a strategy (both long n short term) *Focusing myself towards the goal *Giving daily/weekly plans After searching the forum I came across a few One on One coaching. And they are Chase Watts http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...-coaching.html John Taylor Start Your New Business Year With A Bang! williamrs PERSONAL GUARANTEE: You Will Be Making AT LEAST $1,500/Month By The Time You Finish My Program Shane Natan http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...re-opened.html Kenster ( Don't know the price, but very interested) Kensters One-On-One Coaching/Training: Flea Market Hustler to Super Affiliate... SIX-FIGURE-ALLIANCE celente Check the sig. morry Get 1 on 1 Coaching: Make $5000-$15,000 a month!? I don't know which one to go with. As of now I am interested in CPA / Affiliate marketing. I don't think I can do product creation (or may be I should talk to my mentor about this and then decide). The mentor must be easy to communicate or I don't think there is any use in having one. Guys please share your personal experience and opinions and help me to find a good mentor. Thank You. |

I recommend myself lol But seriously you need to make sure that you get someone who can teach and help you, make sure they will set goals, kick your ass when needed, push you in the right direction personally i think you should pay on a monthly basis, rather than pay 500 upfront, what happens if thinks donīt work out etc people promise the world and sometimes donīt deliver, iīve seen some people promise this and that and other and then let you down ask them loads of questions before hand, if they are not prepared to answer your questions then you might think twice about them - obviously donīt harras them but... also some "coaches" have no qualifications, skills etc in coaching, they just have a bit of fame behind them, so itīs your job to ask loads of questions and see what they are like. Ask them what strategies will they use, ie will they just give you 100 videos and then answer the odd the email finally some of these coaches will have the cheek to say to you hey if you have to ask so many questions i donīt want your money etc etc, this is the typical reverse pyschology used so you want them more. and before you ask am i trying to promote myself the answer is no as my area of coaching is on the planning and goal setting and helping people succeed anyways any other questions let me know |

I think to start- This is the best way to approach this.. Ask the coaches if they can teach you on what you are looking for- not necessarily all coaches that you mentioned have the necessary expertise in the are you are looking for: CPA and affiliate marketing, Once you have pinpointed that, look at their pricing, see who you are most comfortable with in terms of terms, communication and support- and go with them |

It's hard to tell who is "the best" because "the best" mentor for you could be different for each individual. It's like comparing apples to oranges. Sign up to their opt-in lists to get a feel for what they do, get to know their views on IM, and their teaching style. Maybe limiting yourself to just one person may not be best, but I can understand if you want to keep things simple and focused. Good luck, Dan |

You wanna be careful when picking your mentor. A lot of them are marketed as "one on one" but once you sign up, you find you end up in a membership with a ton of videos and PDFs instead... Basically not one on one mentoring. So make sure to ask a lot of questions... Especially if you're gonna be spending a lot of money. James Scholes |

Here is my advice. I have taken mentoring over the Internet and it was far inferior from being mentored in my home. When you have have person to person contact...that beats everything because when I made a mistake my in-home mentor could see right then and there what went wrong and followed that with correction. That is the biggest difference and I am talking from experience. Now, I know the problem is "Is there a mentor in my home town?" You can put out a classified ad, go to an outsource site (i.e. Elance), and hopefully, if the town you live in is big enough, someone can teach you. My 2 cents.

I'm williamrs mentee and what a great coach. He respond to your questions daily, he gives great and thorough info on how to become a serious Internet marketer. If you look at all his posted WSOs on WF, you will see excellent reviews on all of them from real and former mentee. I was refered to him by another very reputable Internet marketer in CPA: Chad Hamzeh who is also a WF member. He is not only teaching you some small tricks on how to make money but IM principles that will generate you money for the rest of your IM career. Regards David |

From quickly glancing at the sales pages of John Talyor and Chase Watts coaching program, I would personally choose John Taylor. From briefly skimming the sales page, John Taylors focus seems to be more on helping you create a plan and really commit to it which is what it sounds like you need. As opposed to Chase Watts sales letter seems hyped up with a claim of earning $10k per month, and from what I briefly read Chase Watts coaching looks like it focuses on selling in the IM niche which usually means building a list and selling WSO's, which doesn't sound like what you wanted to do. On top of that John Taylor's coaching seems reasonably prices as opposed to Chase Watts. That is just my opinion from quickly skimming through the sales pages. This is just a side thought, but you might really benefit from a coaching forum called sixmonthsfromtoday from Chad Hamzeh and the moderator of ppc-coach (I think his name is Will). You could also look into joining some type of internet marketing meetup group on meetup.com, or look in the Local Meetups section on here. |

Hey guys, Being a coach myself I thought I would weigh in. You need to decide exactly what it is you want to achieve out of the coaching program. Having done coaching for many years my most successful students are those who commit to their success AND don't quit if and when they hit a hurdle. If you want to be successful in this business then a coach is a great way to cut down your learning curve and achieve your desired results faster. Another thing that you want to look at is the results their students get which shows how well they can teach. Trust me it's one thing to be successful and it's another thing to teach other people to be successful. Either way make sure you do your research and see if they are a good fit. Good luck! |

1) Make sure the coach you're looking at knows how to lead you down the affiliate marketing/CPA world. Most of the people you mentioned on the list are proficient at creating products and building lists within the IM world...not CPA/Affiliate marketing. 2) Remember that a business built on CPA/Affiliate Marketing is, in my opinion, flaky as all hell. Offers will constantly die/get shut down, competition will copy you within a few days and profitability is difficult to maintain after a 1-3 months. If you stop promoting offers, you stop making money. Your earnings will experience a definitive crash if you are hospitalized or decide to take a vacation or when an offer disappears. If you don't believe me, listen to this Mixergy interview with Super-Affiliate Mike Collela. Skip straight to 56:56...the epiphany is at 57:54. This is the interview that opened my eyes to affiliate marketing and made me shift gears. Keep in mind that Mike made most of his money in 2008 before Google Adwords cracked down on Affiliates and direct linking. His techniques no longer work. 3) An affiliate marketer will find themselves burning through serious cash to test campaigns, traffic sources and landing pages. Affiliate Marketers these days refer to the process as "grinding". It requires a lot of time, work and money to get profitable...and I found it to be the most disillusioning work anyone can perform in the IM world. 4) In the end, you're only building someone else's business and asset. If you stop doing CPA/Affiliate Marketing for even one month, your income stream dries up completely. What's left? Nothing. You can't even "sell" the business or hand it down to a child. Take a moment and look carefully at all the coaches you listed above. Do you see something in common? I do. They all have their own products. They have lists. They have rabid fans in membership sites (celente). They have a tribe. Why would you tap these people for help with CPA/Affiliate marketing? I'm pretty sure all of them made their money selling their own products to starving crowds and building a list. Sure...they might send out an affiliate offer here and there...but their businesses are not BASED on it. It's additional revenue after the initial sale is made. Question: What do Lee McIntyre, Jason Fladlien and Daegan Smith (all make at least $100k per month) have in common? Answer: They sell their own products and continuity programs. And they use their affiliates to build massive leverage. Now...regarding the coaches above...do your own homework. Read their old posts/threads. Google them for "scammy" results. Read their blogs or sites. Get on their lists and read their emails. Then form your own decision and definitively approach them. Edit: If you're not an "expert" or don't know how to make products, then simply buy some kick ass PLR. And I'm not talking about the $9.95 WSO PLR...I'm talking about the $997 Jimmy Brown PLR. Or the $297 Paul Counts PLR. Buy some high quality stuff...then you can play the traffic game (just like a CPA/affiliate) except ALL THE MONEY COMES INTO YOUR OWN POCKET! And you can build an affiliate army.

I agree with a couple people on here, if you want to learn CPA and Traffic AND you can muster up the ability to do some of this on your own, Chad Hamzeh is a great guy to follow.

I would add something sadly missing for the IM industry from what I have experienced....an opportunity to interview a mentor. You know...the good old pick up the phone or skype and have a chat. Being a mentor/coach myself the MOST important thing is a personal connection and "fit" between you and your mentor. Let's face it everyone on the WF has their personal favourites and after all it said and done there are probably 10-20 people you could choose that you would learn a lot from. However, I would also say to you that do not have the expectation that ONE mentor or coach is all you will need. Often the most successful people have used various mentor on their journey to success and each has served an important purpose. If you can ask to have a chat to them - after all would this be an issue considering they are promoting "one on one" coaching....hope this helps and I wish you the very best of success in your own personal IM journey.

Yeah, I said it lolYou might think like a lot of others, that product creation is difficult. But it's not. ...and the money is much better in a shorter timeframe (if you get the right coaching). I can 100% recommend either Kenster or Ryan Lee to set you on the quick path to success.

While I basically agree with what you are saying here... It is not true that my "techniques" no longer work. Google is definitely much less affiliate friendly.. but the internet is BIG and there is still a huge opportunity out there as an affiliate and even with direct linking.

williamrs is coaching me at the moment in the IM niche. He is indeed a great coach. I am only 2 weeks into it and I've definitely learned so much from him. He is my greatest inspiration because this is a young man who is successful in IM despite the fact that English is NOT his first language. I can really relate to him because I am Chinese and I have problems with English as well. If he can overcome the obstacle, so can I...... hopefully .I am continuing this journey with him and hopefully seeing great results! Investing in coaching is definitely well worth it. Thanks William!
