I'm a newbie with questions

So, I'm just begining my Internet / Network Marketing Career. I've learned that that one has to create subscriber lists to be the most successful.

So my questions is this. Does anyone Know if there is a site where I can create customizable lead capture pages or can you direct me to a PHP tutorial. I'm familiar with HTML and Actions scripting.

Also is it wise for a newbie to purchase subscriber lists off the bat?

Lastly Can you direct me to a book or course on affiliate marketing?

I am willing to listen to all comments, and thanks

Honestly I think profit lance is a great investment for a newbie seeking affiliate marketing tutorials, websites, and very detailed instructions. After you pay the one time price of 77 dollars you are a life member and you definatly get your monies worth. There is alot of information and it is constantly being updated so some find it overwhelming I know I did at first , but then I just started going through it step by step a little each day and I have learned so much I am truly grateful for this product!

    Hi RobRamos,

I love to see some new blood coming to internet marketing.

I was once new and fresh and eager to get started. I bought leads, emailed them and had my first site shut down. I remember how upset I was after months of hard work with no site backup and my host deleted my site. That sucked big time.

Rob, if you want to build a deep long lasting business start slowly. I know that isn't what you want to hear but taking shortcuts will only give you a short term gain.

I know as marketers we have to move fast when a new opportunity presents itself but your main business must be made up of happy subscribers getting great free content that helps them to get what they crave. It will also allow you to send them recommendations of cool related products that a grateful subscriber will consider buying thru you.

Never consider buying leads or email lists as you will get lots of spam complaints and could ultimately suffer the fate of my first site. Secondly not many people will buy from a stranger, build your own list. I have some PLR that will help you.

If you want to go to my site you can get some free reports, PLR and ebooks on affiliate marketing.

If I can help further please call on me.

    Ed

First - let me reiterate the "DON'T BUY LISTS" advice - aweber will actually shut you down permanently if you try to upload a list to their service - that tells you how credible the lists are! Build your own - it might take a bit of time, but the results will pay off.

For advice - this forum is awesome! If you're on a budget, you might look at the wealthy affiliate program too - they have website templates and email programs all set up for you to duplicate for a low monthly fee, including a forum and basic mentoring.

If you really want to go fast, find a mentor and a system that make sense to you, and copy what they're doing!

I use icontact for my lead capture. they allow you to build the form, however you have to know some html to customize it youself. I have been pleased with thier service though. the form on my site is a form built through icontact that i customized to fit my page. they offer a free trial to test them out. hope this helps.
