Advice Please: The best solution to automate the everyday tasks of internet marketing

My first OP! I have been following this great forum for sometime now and now I am getting a product developed for the non-IM (make money on the internet) market. I work a busy day-job, enjoy it and don't have any inclination to give it up. This leads me directly to my dilemma. I don't have the time to do the myriad tasks needed to keep my prospective customers happy. I know that there are solutions that are supposed to automate all the predictable tasks of internet marketing leaving the entrepreneur to do the creative biz-building without having to hire people until some success has been achieved.
I have looked at a few of these solutions - most of them are partial solutions such as 1shoppingcart. Some are heavily touted by the IM "Gurus" like Infusionsoft (sometimes called confusionsoft on this forum, possibly because of the difficulty in setting it up and running it) and are paid for monthly at a moderately high price. There is a product that is a one-time payment, good quality but I am unsure of how well supported it is. This is called JV Manager (it even has a fantastic endorsement by the fabled Allen Says - and I have not seen him endorsing any other product), But it is written in Perl and seems to be superceded by a different product - (Fantastos or Delavo) that is much more expensive and without many reviews yet.
So, my questions are -
what do you expect of such an infrastructure product?
Have I missed any good product?
Am I obsessing about a non-essential item at this stage of experience?
Do you have any suggestions for a product that is featureful and does not break the bank of a beginner?
