OptimizePress vs SocratesThemes vs ProfitThemes vs Headway

I know this is a big list here, and most prefer HeadwayThemes for versatility. However, it is quite expensive. I have looked into SocratesThemes and it seems that this program allows you to build a better sales blog. I have also looked into OptimizePress and it seems awesome, but I'm not sure if it would build a good sales blog? Haven't looked in ProfitThemes, but I heard it was comparable to OptimizePress?

Does anyone have any information or opinions on these 4 theme programs? Again they are:

1. HeadwayThemes
2. SocratesThemes
3. OptimizePress
4. ProfitThemes

    I would be great if you could share what it is your trying to accomplish, are you trying to build a sales page, squeeze page for list building. So the correct question may be which is best for your specific needs. I have tested all expect Socrates theme, my first and second picks would be Headway and Optimize press,

      For now, I'm trying to create a blog/sales page to sell as an affiliate. However, I would also like to create sales pages, squeeze pages, membership sites,etc. I guess I would like to use a program that gets most of everything.
      For now, I just want to promote affiliate products. But I would also like to create my own products and sell them too. My ultimate goal is to have a membership site where I could share and promote products and services to my members. That is why I'm looking at an all around solution to wordpress design.
      I like headway too, but OptimizePress and ProfitThemes seem to include many headers (geared toward many niches), and other artwork that I don't Headway includes. While Headway is more flexibile, hence, more expensive, it may not include everything that a novice needs for creating efficient sales pages and blogs.

      That is why I like a little from each of these programs. I was just hoping that those who have tried these programs might be able to give me a little more insite into them.
      I agree with Headway being number 1. However, why is OptimizePress #2? Just trying to decide. Thanks.

    Optimizepress doesnt really fin with the others, because it's used for squeeze pages.

    I would go with Socrates if you want to take it easy.
    Headway if you're looking for more options.

    no experience with profit themes

    Optimizepress is probably #2 because it's not an all around theme/framework, its mainly limited to squeeze pages, sales funnels ect... I have used it in the past, and can say that it doesnt have many options when it comes to blog style layout.

    If i were you i would check out flexsqueeze, it does awesome blogs and squeeze pages.

      Will definitely check out Flexsqueeze. Right now I'm leaning toward Socrates, and hoping to get Headway further down the line. I figure with Headway, I could do just about anything. The only thing is I will have to come up with my own templates, squeeze pages, funnels and artwork. Thanks again.

        The best advice i can give is to not over think it right now. Down the line you will find your self using many different themes for many different projects.
