Advice Needed About Shopping Cart Solutions...

PRODUCT REVIEWS

Hi Guys,

I've got one site that has taken off pretty well (last month over 100 sales). It's built on Wordpress and the shopping cart I am currently using is a Plugin called Shopp. It works fairly well, but is not nearly as stable as CRE loaded (for those of you who have used it with Niche Blueprint). As I expand my store, I want to make sure I get a really good cart solution.

I'm asking for suggestions for:

1. Really high quality carts that I can use within Wordpress

2. Any other high quality cart that could be installed in a folder of my domain xxx.com/shop for example.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Interspire shopping cart is one of the best,
I personally tried coffeecup shopping cart creator before and its well worth to look at.
shopperpress is also really good and has awesome customer support!!

Then you also have the option to buy PHP scripts to manage your shopping cart

I myself used

WordPress eStore Plugin - Complete solution to sell digital products from your wordpress blog securely | Tips and Tricks

prior to switching over to RAP. Very cost conscious, very useful, superb support too!

I want to say use 1shoppingcart.com. Have you checked them out before? I think they can do these 2 things that you are looking to have done.

Magento is suppose to be a solid shopping cart. You can check it out at: Magento - Home - eCommerce Software for Growth

There is a free edition you can download, or there is the Enterprise edition that costs money. They also have Magento Go, where they host the site for you, and it's suppose to be easier to set up than the free edition.

I built my sisters website (My Glam Kloset) using Magento Go.

If you have used CRELoaded, then you would be mostly familiar with osCMAX, another osCommerce variant. You can set it up in a subdirectory without a problem.

I've been using osCMax since 2007 and currently have about 1000-ish? products. osCMax usually has some of the mods above the osCommerce vanilla release pre-installed.

Re: Magento
If you don't know or can't hire someone to do Zend Framework, Magento might take a bit more effort than CRELoaded or osCMax. (I couldn't make it work fast enough. But I'm a hack.)
