Check out this latest tool we developed perfect for pinging your blog or website when it is updated.

Pingler.com

It allows you to ping over 90 sites with a single submission. You can even add more ping services to the list if you know of more that you would like to use, but currently we have 92 available.

Let us know what you think and anything you may like to see us add, remove, or enhance. All suggestions are welcome and much appreciated!

A nice idea and a website really worth bookmarking. However I am not sure if it's just my browser or if your website brakes or is it just it was made this way with a simpler theme in mind. Nevertheless good website, I will definitely use it to ping my websites.

Thanks for the comments. Yeah the design is simple as we haven't really spent some time on it yet. We were more concerned with the functionality.

Alright we agree the original design was a little too simplified so we messed around with it more today. There are more features we will be adding in the future, but let us know what you think so far.

I think it's fantastic. Pingomatic and Pingoat rarely seem to be available so Pingler.com is fabulous for pinging static sites -- and blogs too.

I used it for one site and it worked great.

Well I have bookmarked it and will use it because I cannot find a reliable pinger anywhere (except ping.in - ping.in is the best of the ones I know IMO)

A ping service that actually works! What a concept. How did you guys accomplish that?

I tested it with a static site just to see my results and they were amazing! Pinged 92 sites without a hiccup. Awesome!

Ironically one of the sites that did not give my some ping love was pingomatic. Maybe they do not like the competition.

You have a winner there. I found my new ping service of choice.

Love it! And I can actually read the captcha image.

I can't believe how fast it is and all but one site came back with a "pinged" and when I checked I found out that they were currently down.

Bookmarked and will be my pinger of choice.

Just added a 'More Info' section as well that allows you to check the most prominent keywords on your site after you have pinged your site. Just go back to the main page and click on the more info link to check it out. Should be useful for those looking for keyword density and other seo info

Wow i just tried the ping system. Its surpisingly fast! However i will keep a look out on my traffic stat now to see whether theres any increase. You know im really sucks at generating targeted traffic.

Yeah some services are faster than others, but overall it works fairly quick.

The service tells me that I have not entered the CAPTCHA correctly EVERY time.

It always goes through the SECOND time I enter the CAPTCHA but never the first time.

We do plan on adding more services and functions in the future, but we are very busy with other projects right now so it may take a few months before we do too much more with the site.

Sorry, buddy, but I would love to figure it out. It's a great tool but it's a paid in the butt to have to enter everything twice.

I've learned to just copy my URL before I hit enter and then just paste it back in once I get the failed CAPTCHA message.

I use autopinger.com which is pretty good and i used to use pingoat until they recently had problems , and i also use pingomatic

I just want to chime in and said thanks a lot for providing this great sevice. It's extremely fast and the pinging service is really reliable as well. Btw the website design and layout are also quite cool and eye-catching. Overall, really, really awesome service and highly recommended :-)

One thing if you misspell the Captcha Text then you have to re-enter all info.

Hey, that's not a bad solution.

If you can't fix that CAPTCHA problem every time, maybe you could at least make it so that the CAPTCHA is the ONLY thing you have to re-enter.

We will look into that, but I think we are close to a fix on the captcha issue.

We have created another site that checks page rank, alexa rank, pages indexed, etc with a similar captcha that shouldn't have the same issues.

Check out FindMyPageRank.com and let me know if you still have a captcha issue. If not we are gonna use that captcha in our pingler site.

You could add more sources in the text are if you wanted to and knew some more sources that were effective. In fact we could even add them to the standard list if you wanted to send us a list of more.

Peter, you might want to check these ping urls along side a plugin that is for wordpress, it will only ping the post once, even if it's been edited, where by default, wordpress will re-ping the site after it's been edited...

things like
WordPress Plugins: Smart Update Pinger, Jerome's Keywords; Enhance your blog tool
MaxBlogPress Ping Optimizer

and it will check to see if the ping followed through, some of the sites you got here are dead now, plus you have services here as well that also ping the same services, like for instance
rpc.pingomatic.com

pings
ping.syndic8.com/xmlrpc.php
rpc.icerocket.com:10080/
ping.feedburner.com/
rpc.technorati.com/rpc/ping

and it's not necessary to ping a service more than once, if you and do this all the time, your site could get black listed.

Posts: 2,764 Blog Entries: 3 Thanks: 150 Thanked 277 Times in 214 Posts Social Networking Contact Info	Re: Pingler.com - Blog and Ping Tool Peter, you might want to check these ping urls along side a plugin that is for wordpress, it will only ping the post once, even if it's been edited, where by default, wordpress will re-ping the site after it's been edited... things like WordPress Plugins: Smart Update Pinger, Jerome's Keywords; Enhance your blog tool MaxBlogPress Ping Optimizer and it will check to see if the ping followed through, some of the sites you got here are dead now, plus you have services here as well that also ping the same services, like for instance rpc.pingomatic.com pings ping.syndic8.com/xmlrpc.php rpc.icerocket.com:10080/ ping.feedburner.com/ rpc.technorati.com/rpc/ping and it's not necessary to ping a service more than once, if you and do this all the time, your site could get black listed.
