No joke. My PC recently got this annoying spyware that pops up false warning windows about this win32.Zafi.B trojan every 10 min. I tried everything to get rid of it. Scanned my computer with AVG etc. Nothing worked. At the end I googled online and found spyware doctor. I was really amazed. The scan was so fast it only took 3 minutes and virus/trojan was quickly removed! I've never seen anything so effective. |

I have to add my comment on this since I've been testing software for years. In my opinion the best anti-malware/spyware removal tool is Malwarebytes. If you check around, a lot of people will agree. |

combination of Spybot S&D and Malwarebyte's. Everyone really has their own opinions and experiences, but I personally don't like spyware doctor. The best way to keep your PC spyware free, is to use some common sense when searching/downloading online.

| I use spy doctor in conjunction with Malwarebytes. You can't go wrong with the two. Only thing I'd like to see improved with Malwarebytes is the speed. It's so damn slow.

I used spyware doctor and had nothing but good results with, would probably still be using it had I not come to my senses and got a Mac.

I've used several tools and found that using at least two different tools for removing spy ware works best. I know weird but oh well it works for me.

There's nothing wrong in using two different tools, you just don't want to have both set in real time protection if you go that route. Best bet is just use them as on demand scanners. My second choice besides Malwarebytes would be Superantispyware and there's PrevxEdge but it's not free.

I stuggled with a trojan for days, tried 3 different programs, Spware Doctor was only one that would remove it! I'll be sticking with it for now. Bobby |

Agree with many of the above posts. And some of the free versions are just as good as the paid. Don't like Zone Alarm, though.
