I use Quick 3D cover for my ebooks. It's paid software you can instantly download, but intuitive and very flexible.

Quick 3D Cover - Home (boxshots, e-books covers, CD Jewel cases, DVD-cases, templates).

I personally use Cover Action Pro, however if you are on a budget of any kind you can simply outsource using Fivver as suggested by other people on here. It's probably the best option :-)

If you are not into web design, it is best to outsource it and find someone from Fiverr or WF to do it for you.

Your time should be focused on "marketing" if you are in IM business.

I think the best ebook cover software is http://3dcovermaker.com

Tons of good looking templates. No photoshop. Easy to use. It's web based. No downloading software.

You get transparent background on the images. And it's cheap.

My best ecover maker is my designer. He always knows which graphics to use for maximum conversions, not sure if there's any software for this.

Don't underestimate your ecover potential, powerful ecovers can create the feeling of a physical product. People are more likely to buy a physical product, so it's going to get you a higher conversion rate.

I agree with Steve B. I also used cover action pro and liked it a lot. But I would have also preffered one that doesn't have to depend on photoshop as I dont have it.
Looking forward to some more information and advices.

What exactly is Elements? I've been using photoshop for like 15 years, and I use illustrator sometimes, but I don't know what elements is used for. I always see the name, but I've never looked into it.

Photoshop Elements is a very stripped down version of Photoshop. I do not even believe you can run action scripts on it.

        It's limited in may ways.

But it's cheap, meaning you can get it for less than $100.

I thankfully got the entire Adobe Creative Master Suite Collection for $125 - and it's not a stolen bootleg knockoff, it's the real deal. Here is some of what I got for $125

        Adobe Acrobat
        Adobe After Effects
        Adobe Dreamweaver
        Adobe Fireworks
        Adobe Flash
        Adobe Illustrator
        Adobe InDesign

I don't know how good the software is, but the ones I have used, whilst improved on my own hand cranked version, are still nowhere near as good as getting a graphics designer to do it for you.

I don't even think in the same ways as these guys do. The difference is having something ordinary versus having something outstanding - that my 2 cents anyway...

      I agree 100%

It seems that people are not willing to invest a small amount of money in order help in their online success. I see it all the time. Everyone wants FREE this and FREE that.

I say, you get what you pay for. If it's FREE I guarantee you, that it will not be high quality.

And if you want to look professional, which will help with your online success, you need high quality professional looking graphics. Not some software that makes a box for you, so you can slap an image on it with some ugly font.

      Just my opinion.

I've tried loads of 'em, and found 2 that really stand out above the rest:

    - Box Shot 3D (not 'True Boxshot', or some other variation of boxshot)
    - Cover action pro (photoshop scripts)

If you haven't used the above two, then you might pick up a different piece of software and be pretty impressed with the results.

But when you then get yourself Box Shot 3D or Cover Action Pro, you'll realize that all the covers you created with the other software were third-rate, and complete junk.

I just set up an excellent solution. Warrior members can get 3 months free just for giving it a try. There's a free option on my website but it's limited. Use the link below to get 3 months of unlimited unrestricted membership. That's the same membership that sells for $14.95 a month.

You can only get the 3 free months by setting up your subscription at PayPal, but you won't pay anything at all until the 3 months are up, and if you cancel before then you'll never pay anything. Of course I do hope you keep it, because it's a great service at a great price, but that's your choice.

Please hurry if you're interested because I can only offer this to 40 or 50 people, so the offer might be withdrawn at any time. Be sure to click back to my website after setting up your subscription at PayPal so you can set up your account on my website. And be sure to use the same email address on my website that you use at PayPal so your membership will be automatically activated.

    Here's the link.
