What's The Best MasterMind or Coaching Program You Joined?

I have never felt the need to join a coaching programme so far, as I have had great success in my first 6 months or so as an IM - and I have only failed at one project out of five.

I guess I am one of the lucky ones, as I see people on here that haven't made a dime in months, or even years of trying.

I will search for alex Jeffreys though.

Dan Kennedy is still the best "Marketing" mastermind group around. Most (if not all) of the big name internet marketing gurus are part of his mastermind.

Frank Kern is a great case in point. He's been a member of GKIC for years now. He simply takes what's working offline and figures out a way to make it work online.

So I think Dan Kennedy is the best, hands down.

However, if you're new to marketing and internet marketing, then Chris Farrell is excellent to learn from. Just join his program for around 5 bucks (I think it's still $5 for his trial), sit down with a cup of java and plan to watch videos for about 3 hours. His information is really good and very easy to follow.

i was with chris farrel for 6 months.....i go around in circles and then coem back to his concept. his thing is that you must have a list..............must .....must......he is very right.....very right. i left him because he did not cover cpa or affliate marketing.
but, NO ONE EXPLAINS THINGS THE WAY HE DOES, (HE HAS THE GIFT OF GAP, HE USE TO BE A RADIO DJ AND HIS VOICE IS VERY COMFORTING, MAKES YOU FEEL YOU WILL GET RICH TOMORROW) I AM ON 3 COACH....THEY PRETTY MUCH SUCK.....

ANOTHER THING, always use your credit to buy coaching just incase you get scammed. it happened to me. paypal will not help you.

I used Alex Jeffreys and was very happy with the content and training. I've used others as well, but they were for more specific things.

Guys, I've been a member of several training and coaching programmes (British Spelling ha! ).
I've been coached or bought courses by:
Kevin Riley - Great for newbies, step-by-step. Very helpful guy too.
Darren Monroe - Not step by step, encourages you to think for yourself more but v successful as well.
Aravindh Sridhar - Does NOT currently offer coaching. He is V expensive & hand selects people who are going to do all the homework, without excuses. Do what he says, you WILL make money. Specialises in Amazon Affiliate, Kindle, WP Plugins & Software.
Alex Jeffries - Brilliant, straight forward information, some of the best, I've ever encountered. Google his name, the testimonals are everywhere. That is not by chance. He has helped many people!
Glen Hopkins - Great teacher, shows exactly what to do with his Lucrative List Building Secrets.

If there is one piece of advice I can give you guys, is to do the following:
1) Don't just buy from people selling micro-products ie solution to a small problem. Buy someone who shows you the whole picture. This way you really get to understand the business model and how to adapt it for your needs.
2) Look for testimonials everywhere, not the fake affiliate ones, but the ones where people have nothing to gain, ie the ones where they don't even have their website linked back from the testimonial.
3) Look for rock solid Guarantees.
4) If something sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Push button $$$$ is BS, it always has been and always will be. Yes there are ways to automate things, but if there was a button to push that could do that, everyone would do it. These things are normally spammy, get your accounts deleted and give you a bad rep. I know, I've been in online marketing since 2006.
5) Network with people in your industry. Add them on FB, Skype, Twitter, Reply to their emails - Yes even the one's from aweber and the like. Become friends with many people and you gain also from their experience. Add value to every relationship. You may do something better than others or offer some of your time, if your skills aren't quite there yet.
6) Make a name for your self. Brand. Let people know who you are and what you specialise in. That way people come to you, to JV about what you do best.
7) Build a list. My Method after trying many is Solo ads, then ad swaps. Giveaways work as well, but much lower conversions as there are like 100 other people competing for their $$ and the giveaway mindset, doesn't really place value on your offerings.
8) Invest in your future, accept you will fail and make mistakes all along the way, anyone with any success knows, this is a part of the journey. Take it on the chin and move on. I've bought tons of crap in the past. If I didn't buy it, I wouldn't know if it worked for me or not. It's a learning process, don't beat yourself up for it. Learn and move forward

I haven't joined a mastermind group yet- but when I do - definitely Dan Kennedy's GKIC: for the networking opportunities. So far- I'm going with one on one coaching not because it much better than the mastermind or group coaching but because it suits me. I sort out business issues but also work on personal stuff as well.

tristatemedia - I'm really curious - how can you be scammed with coaching. You can get bad coaching or advise giving labeled as coaching but to get scammed ... I honestly don't get it.

I personally join rank and pillage gold membership. In the basic course, they just teaches you how to do seo, but when you upgrade to gold membership, you be given a 90days or so boot camp, brian and aidan will show you step by step process how to build a authority site in 90 days the mostly free way and the tools they use to do it.

Need urls to these coaching programs as I haven't heard of some of them.

For me, the "$100k Results" program is hands-down the best. Disclaimer: I don't think it's intended to be a complete "stand-alone" coaching program, as it's geared towards helping you get "results" from whatever you might already be doing.

That said, those guys - particularly Michael, the author of their courses - is absolutely the most knowledgable, real-world experienced internet marketer I've ever read or listened to, and it really comes across. Simply a phenomenal teacher.

It might help you to define what exactly you want from a coach, then use that to filter all the names you getting.

Ref Dstarr's post, you'll see different approaches.

What should you look for? This is from Ken Blanchard, The One Minute manger Guy, A Coach:

• Creates a safe environment in which people see themselves more clearly; the coach does this by listening, asking focused questions, reflecting back, challenging, and acknowledging the client
• Asks for more intentional thought, action, and behavior changes than the client would have asked of him or herself
• Clarifies goals and agreed-upon results
• Identifies gaps between where the client is and where the client needs or wants to be
• Helps the client develop a strong strategy and action plan to close the gap
• Understands and anticipates potential obstacles
• Guides the building of the structure, accountability, and support necessary to ensure sustained commitment

Well, I have to agree that it depends on what you are looking for. I have actually been in several coaching programs and the range in cost and value is huge $50 programs through a $500 program. I can tell you that the two most expensive ones have been the worst for me personally. I'm not going to post who they are but feel free to PM and ask me.

I think you are in one of the better ones for a new marketer. I seriously considered the Chris Farrell program. It gets great reviews in general so i don't think you can go wrong if you are a newbie with that one. For my personal opinions here are two that I like for new/intermediate marketers. (Both purchased as WSO, I think the second one is still live)

Alex Jeffries: excellent lots of detail. Pretty good pace. This one is personal preference but his program is not Drip Fed so you can go at a faster pace if you want to which I think is a plus. The only think I don't like is that his videos are very long. Overall though, great value & great instruction. Definitely learned a lot from this one and there is a forum to interact with other marketers which is always a huge plus in this industry.

"My internet income coaches" - Liz Tomey/Jeff Dedrick: This course over delivers like gangbusters! In terms of value for me this is absolutely #1. Liz does all of the teaching. She is a good instructor, maybe not the most polished (I like this it shows she is human) but knowledgeable, and entertaining. This one is drip fed so you might feel like it holds you back a little bit. for example, the entire first month is dedicated to setting up your sales funnel. The videos are a good length so it is perfect to digest in smaller pieces as well as easy to go back to if you need a quick refresher.

Someone said that the mark of a great coach or teacher is his/her ability to replicate himself and his students can do exactly the same things he does.

If you find any of the coaches who have ex-students producing the same kind of results, there's your winner.

I think it's important to know:

• How the coaching is going to be: some videos/PDF's pluss conference calls, Skype sessions, email or what?
  
• What the business model they're teaching: following your passion to write ebooks, building authority sites, niche sites, service sites, affiliate marketing, membership sites or what?
  
• How much minimum work/money needed to invest?
  
• What is the expected results?
  
• The learning style: step by step instructions, or just motivation and mindset coaching?

There's a lot of coaching programs, but in their sales letters, there are just some wow wows, and the results they are promising.

Dan Kennedy is one of the best marketing mastermind group ever. They're lessons are easy to follow, understandable and very suitable for any level skills. You should also try their lessons cause I do think they're really understandable for any levels.

I would have to say for a newbie that Chris Farrell is an excellent choice. He has a wonderful way of teaching and making it very easy to do. He constantly keeps you up to date on the changes in IM. I learned quite a bit from him. Also, Kenster's Six Figure Alliance is an excellent mastermind group!! I am a member but no affiliate links here. I love this group!! I am learning a lot and the support is top-notch!

Anyone had the pleasure of working with Lee McIntyre? I can see that he is running two coaching programs at the moment, one for $1k and one for $5k....? Both have been playing on my mind. Anyone with first hand experience care to feed back?

I am thinking about that myself. Right now, I'm trying to decide between Alex Jeffreys and Kenster. Does anyone else have any ideas?

Chris Ferrell seems to a winner for newbies. And the price is pretty inexpensive. But is there large up sells, and how much personalization do you get? I am interested in joining this one.

People learn best from each other - whatever you do I encourage you to look for something with a live (ex. skype) interactive component. Good luck!
