Default Any info please on Acme People Search

Hi Warriors:

Hope the week is going well. Today I got a couple of emails asking if I had heard of any good or bad feedback from a program Acme People Search.

Honestly I had heard nothing pro or con. The only thing that I have knowledge is that the program can be used either in conjunction with Global Domains International (If both are properly marketed) or as a competitor.

Any information would be interesting on either.

Thank you for your time.

it's affiliate program from Trish and Tissa, it worked very well last year, now because there are so many same services online, including those organic websites ,it seem doesn't work anymore.it s actually kind of web to integrate background check services with affiliates links.,people use web interface to check, they will be led to original web to search the database. if they pay, owner of web get commission.

there are 8 main cashflow programs there,
1.Reunion
2 HD publishing group
3.Undercover detective
4.Governmental record
5.SSNRecords
6.reverse phone check
7.GDI
8.Adsense

2-6 are clickbank programs

you can see a sample site here,(because I can not post real link before I reach 15,so just copy to see, www(dot)i-search-you(dot)com

Hi Etreet:

Welcome to the Warrior Forums. Thank you for taking the time to answer the question. With your excellent insight it seems that the better days has passed for Acme People Search.

Would Global Domains International be a possible program that is advantageous? They talk about the growth but in the end do they have the dollars and the honesty?

Have a great night!

I heard about GDI, it 's MLM business, if you have email lists which you can count on,send your referring link to them, somebody use GDI service to build a website ,you can get paid monthly, $1/mo per person.your downline refer to somebody else, you still can get paid.

i am not good at MLM, till now i dont really understand their system...sorry for that..but I feel, GDI are for real newbies who just jump into online biz, as you know, there are so many free web hosting, cheap webhost, cheap domain everywhere, free site builder, free site templates etc ...you dont have to use GDI to build your website.

as far as i knew, GDI = .ws domain+host , cost $120/year

It's an OK program. The new member gets 'caught' with a promise of a $125 bonus. And the bonus happens but it takes $200 to cash out. And getting to that $200 is not easy. I guess, like anything else, you can make it work for you if you work hard at it.

Has already been discussed here:
Acme People Search & affilitize

Personally I prefer to build my own sites and control my own autoresponder, hosting etc.
Acme seems to attract a lot of people who are new to online marketing and yet the main focus seems to be on promoting 'your' search engine via ppc, not an easy task for someone with no prior ppc experience especially in a competitive market like people search.
As for GDI - I go out of my way to avoid anything to do with MLM as do a lot of affiliate marketers.

Hi there, i am new here in warrior forum,

I personally tried the acme people search program and it turned out to be quite hard for me because i'm kinda new to the internet marketing. Basically, Tissa, (the owner), gives you a $125 bonus (cashout at $200).

Involves 3 steps,
1. Be a clickbank member.
2. set up your hosting (GDI or StartLogic)
3. Advertise (free 1st month then $29.99 monthly)

What tissa give,
1.A referral program
2.Comissions from the referral program. ($5,$10 and $15)

Basically, its not hard to get the people into the referral program, but hard for them to complete each step producing with no commissions.

Surprisingly, Tissa have been in the GDI leaderboard now for several months with signups like 70 per week. He's taking all the signups (huhu)

that's all i think..

Thank you for accepting me in the forum

Hi chibobski84:

Thank you for the reply and welcome to the forum. I received many emails off line where fine people complain that there are so many systems (free and paid) where the only people getting rewarded for the effort is the person that got you to sign up originally. I hope you are able to find a product or company that is ethical and makes you a great income.

Have a fantastic evening!

I recently tried Acme People Search myself and completed all 3 steps. Here is what my experience is:

Pros:
- I got 13 referrals right not long afterwards
- got 2 sign ups at GDI that same week
- earned the "guaranteed" $125

Negative aspects:
- I agree with some of you that most of the referrals did not complete all 3 steps (some never even completed "step 1"), though I did subscribe them to my autoresponder series via aweber (they offer GVO, but since I already have aweber, I decided to stick with Aweber instead), though I am still in the process of creating a good autoresponder series.
- the 2 sign ups I got at GDI ended up quitting before the free trial was up (even though I placed one of the sign ups under the other's downline).
- it appears that automated advertising only works until you make at least $125 in referral fees (usually after the first day or 2), and so afterwards, you are on you own
- Haven't generated any transactions at cb, mylife, or hdpublishing with it yet. By the way, they do offer you to join the Wealthy Affiliate university to try and teach you how to succeed with APS. Though I've been in the affiliate marketing business long enough to not need new training material.

Criticisms I have about APS:
- Tissa should have it so that the system goes on autopilot at least until you get at least 20 committed referrals (or people that complete all 3 steps), especially considering that they try to encourage you to join the Wealthy Affiliate Program. The autopilot system should last through the entire length of the wealthy affiliate university program (this way people earn while they learn).

Well, that is my thoughts about this program

Acme People Search was one of the first programs I tried. The promise of the initial $125 guaranteed convinced me it was legit. What they don't tell you is that you don't actually get that money if you don't sell an additional $75 in products/information. I also paid the extra to have Tissa advertise my site and got maybe three hits. I finally canceled after a month and promoting it heavily. I made money for Tissa, but none for me. I spent money to set it up and to advertise, and didn't even get to walk away with the "guaranteed" $125

Hi Manifestress:

Thank you for the reply.

I am sorry for the lack of results you had.

Tissa should make all the money he wants as long as it is legal and ethical but the people behind the product should encourage others to thrive.

What was disappointing to me is how those that often promoted on YouTube would never return email or phone calls. Either stick by the product or if you decide to go elsewhere delete the videos and blogs.

May you and everyone else have a fantastic Warrior day.

When I first posted the question it was interesting to note that the idea is good but how it is being controlled is poor.

With time and patience Acme People Search will compensate you, i am pleased to announce that
i myself did indeed get payed the promised $125
bonus after getting $75 worth of referrals on my own.

I also made a good chunk of commissions thru CB-HD and Reunion from Tissa advertising for me.

However APS does take time and patience to succeed
with it as for any online business.

The PPC part of it can be very tricky if no experience but
again with time and patience one can learn

Hi, gdqws

You dont have to sell anything. You can complete the Step1, which is completely free and stay there as long as u wish. Meantime u can show your referrals how to complete step1. When a referral completes step1 which requires from 2 minutes to 20minutes depending on what u wanna focus at the start. YOU get 5$ added to your Acme account. Thats how u make the 75$. Here is a secret, if u can make 75$, you can make 750$ and 7500$ well it just takes longer, but u can achive it.

Just look at it for a second >>>>>>>>>>>>>> YOUR referrals complete FREE step1, and u get paid for that, ist that great?

The montly fee isn't for advertising its for the so called Tissa Trio:
1)The SE display ratio set to 100% - get more from your SE
2)Acess to Tissa "Secret" GDI Sign up sauce ingriedients - increase earnings with GDI
3)Super Affiliate Switch offered as a free bonus - id u qualify for Super Affiliate Switch they could earn the massive commisions from Hostgator.

Plus for being helpful in forums and answering question they could became Super Sponsors, and that means your all operating costs with Acme People Search programm will be covered.
Thats the true power of Step3.

Well i havent seen yet a better programm than Acme People Search. If u are willing to help work hard you the money will start to flow.
GIVE, GET, GROW.

Yeah, exactly, but there are also free methods to drive traffic to the search engine, like blogging, forum marketing, writing articles, Classfields, email marketing, Traffic Exchanges.

Spent around $200 on adwords. Got 2 GDI signups and one $12 commision from HD publishing (which is still lying dormant in my account there). Never did get the $125 of Tissa. Good concept, certainly for the creator but I think there are better things to spend your money on. Like learning how to use adwords for example
