Has anyone had much luck with the tweetergetter? This is the free tool that is going around to exponentially increase the number of followers you have on Twitter. I can see both pros and cons with it. So far, I have had great luck with it. I am getting very good solid networkers following me FAST.

The tool is TweeterGetter .::. Get 15,625 New Twitter Followers In 30 Days!

I think it's worth it. Hey, it's FREE!

Hope this helps --------Bill

I would stay away with these type of Twitter Viral Generators. There are many free one's out there.

Twitter is about relationships and Brand Building.

I just finished a product yesterday on it here and finishing up salescopy and affiliate page: How To Get 50 Leads A Day Using Twitter Lead Generation

Are you guys having success already on Twitter, to benchmark?

Im not sure if I should try a tool like this day one or 6 months in - if I hit a plateau.

Stay away from Twittergetter. Bad mojo. Twitter is banning prolific users who promote their link.

Did you make that up yourself or did you hear it from someone else who made it up?

Twitter is not about how many followers you have. It is about building relationships.

What matters most is the content of your Tweets. Do they ad value to the conversation or provide useful information?

The problem with scripts like this is the user does not even know what you tweet about. It is easy for them to unfollow you as well.

If you want to build a real list of followers that really read your tweets, you need to find a popular topic and post valuable tweets about it.

I recommend you check out Twist: http://twist.flaptor.com
It will show you that hot trends on Twitter to find a popular topic or you can search for your favorite topic and see how active it is.

Remember every letter in your tweet is searchable. That is why it is important to pick a popular trend. Then when someone goes to
Twitter Search and searches for your topic, they will see your tweet and can choose to follow you.

If you information is valuable, they may even retweet to there followers giving you more chances to get good followers.

Over 90% of my tweets have links to valuable sites my followers will want to check out.

Please read the rules, particularly this one:

    7. No Affiliate Links - Sorry but if we allowed affiliate links in these reviews it would be a big ad forum within a few days instead of an unbiased review forum.

    Hi,

This TweeterGetter has all the distinctive features of a classic piramidal chain letter (in this case a chain tweet). Better stay away from it.

Hmnnn. The trouble with Twitter (and I am a fan of Twitter and "tweet" fairly often) is that that you get inundated with follower requests/ friend request from people who purely want to make up their numbers and at the end of the day are sod all use to you and clog up your update and inbox. The moment I see someone tweet about tweetergetter (or whatever) I immediately hit the unfollow button.

Just me I guess but it does seem that there is an awful lot of herd instinct going on with Twitter and alot of people stumbling about trying to follow or cacth up with the latest fad.

I have to throw my hat in here too. Build your twitter following honestly with good posts and thoughtful replies to people you follow.

Your following will be much more loyal and robust when you come by them honestly.

      +1

I can't agree more. If you're trying to target your marketing, why on earth would you want 25,000 people following you who could not possibly care less about what you're selling?

Unless it's an ego stroke... in which case, I suggest seeking some help with the self esteem issues.
