I am a member of dot com secrets x and am also in my second month with them. I have seen some good results. Not huge, like the guy who posted above, but i did make back more than i paid for my membership. $1 first month and $97 after that. It's basically a video training course on how to make money online and Russell has teamed up with some people to offer some special deals on advertising. That is all good, but with these advertisers, (safelist owners) you won't make any cash if you're not in the mmo or im niche.

The training however is the main selling point for dotcomsecretsx and even though i've been making a full time income online for over 11 years, i still managed to pick up a couple of gems. For newbies this would be a great place to start and if you're in the i.m niche you should see some results if you follow the program. Having said that, you could probably find the same information elsewhere and it won't cost you a monthly fee, but i do like way it's all laid out and presented in a step by step fashion in dotcomsecretsx and the training is updated often which is why they probably have the monthly fee.

They do provide squeeze pages for you to promote dotcomsecrtesx and build your own email list, but i feel this has already become saturated as i've seen many solo ad publishers stating they won't send out solo ads for dotcomsecretsx as their subscribers have seen the offer too many times. It might help to use their squeeze pages, but point the oto to something else. This may require a little bit of work, but should help to set you apart from the crowd.

I know i went all over the place with this review and there was no proper structure. Sorry about that, i'm doing too many things at once.

Okay I am new, learning and not afraid to ask. Pam, In the quote below, what is oto, and what did you mean by point the oto to something else.

      Thanks, Randy

OTO means One Time Offer. It is a page which has an offer a subscriber would see right after opting in to your page. By point oto to something else what i mean is that everyone seems to be using the dotcomsecrets sales page for their oto. You could maybe try promoting another offer.

        Hope this answers your questions.

        Pam

Pam, Thank you! for the explanation about oto and yes answering my question. When you say promoting another offer, what would you promote or what would be examples of offers you would suggest or recommend promoting? Anyone else have thoughts on products and what to promote?

I tried googling and couldn't find what mmo stands for and what exactly the mmo niche is that you referred to---'step by step action plans are mainly focused on the mmo niche'

          Thanks, Randy

I'm sure you can find more info here on WF better than any course, unless its course about specific niche like PPC or content writing something you can learn from few tips, pay 50$ and move on then maybe.
people stop taking course and start taking action.

btw I have nothing against dotcom secrets, i'm sure it got good info however if you do take the course USE IT

I agree that you can probably find everything that is in DotComSecretsX here on teh Warrior Forum or in fact in lots of places on the net.

I was promoting it to my list and was getting questions from them about it so I decided to join and run through the program and provide feedback to my list about my progress.

First thing I'll say is this is absolutely gearred towards that 100% newbie. It starts off with the very basics. Picking your offer (from Russells products) setting up your squeeze page and yes it is yours on your own Aweber account. Then driving traffic using paid and free solo ads. Now the paid solo ads - well we all know what they are. The free solo ads are list builders like List Joe etc.

The training is well laid out and if you are a complete newbie I think you would find it very useful. If you have been around for any length of time and got just 1 person on your list then you probably don't need the first few weeks anyway of the program.

I am looking forward to getting into the so-called "more advanced" stuff over the next week or so.

All in all as far as a coaching program goes I would recommend it. It's only $1 for the first 30 days and if you follow along and do what they show you, you will grow your list and your make sales.

I have a more indepth review here with Aweber and Clickbank screenshots if anyones interested - http://makemoneywithian.com/2012/05/...n-actual-user/

As Fadiz said above - the key is to use the information in the training.

    Just my 2c

The training does apply to a part of my business. The step by step action plans are mainly focused on the mmo niche, but the principles could easily be applied to any niche. There is nothing new or ground breaking in the training, but what is good about it is the way it is presented. Perfect for newbies and only a couple of steps to follow each day.

I think, just check it out for a buck. If you don't like it, just cancel.

idoitbigtime mention 'check out the MArket there are some better Plans to Learn & Earn' I am wondering what plans you are thinking of or referring to. Anyone else agree? If so, what would you suggest?

As I ask that, I am also thinking about what FiverrYouTube said that given it's a valid program, then what matters is your learning style or preference and whether you can learn and work with the program or not. If not, then it doesn't matter how good the program is.

So in considering what is the best, better IM 'Learn and Earn' plan, it is not only whether it's valid, good, 'state of the art', 'cutting edge', but is it user friendly, easy to learn, follow, do, especially for the newbie.

It's a valid program, and there are a lot of other training programs available. I think the important thing is if you find their teaching style suitable to your own learning style. If you do, then it's worth any amount of money, but if your learning style doesn't mesh with their teaching style than it's worth nothing to you. So, it's all relative to the person using it. I don't think that there can be an "end all" review on any quality product. Some people will love it, other will hate it, and most will be somewhere in the middle.

Hello, I think that of all of the different programs and offers available online, dotcomsecretsx has highly valuable information available all in one place. For only $1 for the first month which goes to charity I would say that it is highly worth your time.
Especially for someone new to IM.

I joined DCS 2 days ago and I have a VERY good feelings from what I have seen so far.
The video training is well understandable and motivational and with their listbuilding tools I am already prepared to start the listbuilding process.

The only think I have to manage from now is traffic but the course focus on that very well so I think it couldn't be problem. I like their concept of SLO's - the quickest way to build list is to pay for traffic upfront and then break even on frontend offer. You than make profits on backend.

I'm just wondering what happens if and when you cancel the program. Say you paid 97 for the 2nd month of it. Then you cancel. Do you still retain access to the part of the program you paid for, or do you simply get shut out forever?

I have been following this program for a while and saw great value so I decided to join today. I'm very exciting and can't wait to do my part and put all my efforts on it for at least 30 days.
I made my first $1 sale today, few hours after I joined, from a facebook status that I posted by following the advice in DotcomSecretsX program so very happy as a start.

I was a member of Dot Com Secrets X, and I made some money in the first 30 days. I spent $1 for the first month membership, and $40 to send out a 100 click solo ad. If I remember correctly, I got something like 40 subscribers and made a handful of sales. I made right around $100, which covered the second months membership cost. I ended up canceling my membership for a couple reasons:

One, I ended up coming across a great list building WSO that only cost a few bucks and worked faster for me than the methods taught in Dot Com Secrets X.
And two, I couldn't justify spending $97 a month when I could find the same information being taught here on the forum for free.

I have to admit, it is a solid program for people just starting out. But once you start to get more familiar with the way internet marketing works, the program is no longer as helpful.
