I am digging into the SEO side of things now and am ready to work for it. I did finally find a ppc campaign that i'm not upside down on...which means i've spent $75 and made $100 (that thrills me to death...really, i'm not kidding. I'm giddy).

Trish, you have a right to be 'giddy.' Many people never make anything in PPC. Maybe that one campaign is one that could be scaled up a bit ?

I gave up on PPC Classroom (1) soon after joining. There was some ok material, but it wasn't even worth the $29/monthly recurring (Plus $77 initially). As mentioned previously, the upsells and JV offers made it unbareable. Personally, I believe that approach isn't productive long term. People don't like feeling as though they're being used as an ATM.

I may give PPC Coach a try at some point.

I think your choice in getting more into the SEO side of things is a wise move. If you get a good ranking site, or even a few pages, you can start making some money and it's always possible to incorporate a PPC campaign easily too.

Frankly, I think PPC 2.0 is overhyped. I'm a paying member, and I do not think it is worth $97 a month for me to continue the membership as I have for the past two months. I do feel the Niche Detective portion of the membership may be worth the $19.97 since all the research has been done for you already (but don't compete in the same niches that are exposed, or you WILL lose money) and you get a good idea of what to do to find your own niche. The forum is relatively worthless, and the lessons are pretty basic. It IS a good educational membership site for a total newb who wants in on PPC know-how.

I don't know for sure, but I'm guessing PPC2 is going the way of PPC1.

It seems many, including the PPC2 guys have figured out they can make a quick buck with a hyped-up product launch. I guess they can, but it's the ones that have true substance that will make the most money over the long haul. I would never even look at another product from these guys, and it's not just from the PPC(1) experience...read on.

The reason for this post, as maybe some of you know by now, the PPC2 guys have evidently taken their marketing to a new level...the telephone!!

After I recieved, and ignored, several calls from a number I didn't recognize, I checked the message that was left, and it was someone from the PPC2 crew. I didn't return the call, but the guy called again just before this post and I took the call. I don't remember his name.

He mentioned PPC Classroom and I told him I was no longer associated with it/them (for almost 5 months now), and he was totally surprised.

The guy was loud, pushy sounding, and when I told him (nicely) that it really wasn't a good time because I was involved with something else at the moment, he said, 'IT'S NEVER A GOOD TIME!!'

Ok, you called me jerk...remember ? Obviously I didn't continue long enough to find out what he was offering, nor did I care. (I assume there was an offer coming)

I've never had to try selling anything over the phone, and I hope I never do, but if you want to know how NOT to do it, call the telemarketer at PPC Classroom or whatever the company is.

The call was to my cell. phone, which I had previously recieved no solicitation calls on in probably 4-5 years now, just a very few SPAM text messages.

I've got a feeling my number and information are going to find their way to many lists now.

As I've mentioned before when posting about PPC Classroom, it wasn't a scam, and I did learn some things, but it wasn't worth the money, but that's just my opinion. Others may love it. I had read quite a bit about PPC before joining, but didn't know a lot. It's just their tactics that are a huge problem.

They may very well be great at PPC, if so, they should take their time, put out a good solid course, and go with that. The sense I get of greed and desperation really doesn't make me feel like pulling my debit card out.

Jeff

Have to say thank you for that post jeff i joined ppc2 and wish i never to be honest, no bashing intended to ppc staff and product let me say, but one problem i did have is that i waited one solid month for my login and password after 9 emails to say cancel my free trail, they also charged me 97 dollars i have resloved this now by cancelation and i dont like the fact that you mentioned how its gone from the relams of the internet to telesales trying to rope you into accounts, so far ive had 7 different internet marketers try the same pitch,

no bashing intended just being honest.

Please, this is also no bashing, just a real life experience. And let others know to decide themselves.

i also will cancel mine membership at PPC classroom 2, you have to wait too long to get answers of the real ppc classroom coaches. The first nine basic modules which are free are more then enough, once you have the basics you can find you way around here on this FREE forum just by reading/asking questions further.

A friend of mine had VIP coaching, same problem, too long to wait on private answers. Also there are a lot of vip-coaches going away from ppc classroom, doing their own stuff etc. i mean you get somebody helping you out, you are on a good way, but then that coach leaves........

XXXX is promoting the PPC classroom, for sure he knows his stuff, but you never see him in the forums, also not in vip answering, sometimes he releases a video. But most of the time he is busy showing the super affilate lifestyle he has...i don't think this is the way to put up a course.

But that is mine opinion/experience. Don't get me wrong i did learn, but the way they put up the coaching is dissapointed. I will quit, from the nine free lessons you can learn enough and then hang-out on free forums!

Please avoid naming names in this thread. This forum is supposed to be about the product. Once posters start criticizing people, it becomes unacceptable.

Thanks.
