I've been following the pre-launch of PPC Classroom and I am familiar with Amit and Anik, both of them are nice people based on my observation and I've attended all their pre-launch calls. So yes. It's good stuff. If you are willing to make that investment for your education, then do it. PPC isn't for everyone. If you don't have the money to squeeze, then it's tough. But you can start small and scale it up. So it's still possible.

It's free to join "as they claim" but they have a $97 monthly mastermind membership attached. To me, that's cheaper than joining any coaching programs that teach you about "internet marketing"

That makes three of us then. I tried with two different cards, and then called the credit card company to make sure the information was right. I tried it in IE7 and Firefox so something is not right on their end somewhere.

Hmm..a disgruntled PPC Classroom student.

Indeed PPC does cost you money and there are some expensive tools that may be useful but you don't need it really, founders of SEO book claimed that they didn't buy a single keyword tool at all.

Furthermore it depends on which Niche that you're targeting. I've done it in a small niche and it took me 2 hours after launching the review and ad and I got a sale. I didn't even use any keyword tool. I just slapped in keywords on what I thought would be "within a logical search term" -think in the person's shoe when the person is doing a search.

For example, if you're going to target selling Camtasia.
People would search for the term "buy camtasia 6.0", "download camtasia 6.0" etc. Then bid on that search term. It's expensive but it depends on how much you're willing to put up. Improve your Ad CTR and see the cost go down.

Hardly anyone would do "destroy camtasia 6.0", "useless camtasia downloads"

Well, in my opinion..think out of the box for a second and learn what you can from the experienced ones. Have an open mind when you learn. If you fail, keep trying but provided you follow a system that works. So at least you know, here's a system that works, my niche isn't working for me..but you can try another niche and that might be next gold mine.

Don't worry, you are not unpopular for saying this. It's very helpful to be warned of possible pitfalls to this program. I had the same credit card failed message. I was then asked to reenter the details and this time the same credit card worked. It sounds like there is a common problem with the initial form reporting that the credit card details were wrong.

I hope that this doesn't mean that we've all been charged twice, including for the reportedly failed transaction. I'll be watching my credit card account with great interest.

No intention to portray it as a lottery.

Allow me to rephrase.

Through trial and error-of course we hope to not have to make too many mistakes, you'll find a niche that would be potentially successful.

Anik didn't have very many successful campaigns before he hit it big.

It took Thomas Edison a few hundred tries before he successfully made the light bulb.

Hmm I've got to be pretty careful with what I convey here at the WF less I get micro analyzed lol.

Btw, I tried ordering about 30 minutes ago and it worked. Try a few more times after an hour a two, maybe that might work as everyone slows down.

I had most of the same problems. Frankly, it seems that
they simply were not ready for prime time.

Besides at least 10 attempts to get my credit card accepted
you then are put through the very same exercise again.

Other than a login to the member site that will not let you go
anywhere, I have received absolutely nothing from them.

My gut is they put this thing up and never really tested it.

I've been trying for the last hour to get my credit card accepted but keep getting the order failed message. It's not the credit card. I phoned them.

Tried Amex but someone said earlier they're not accepting those so have been trying Mastercard ever since. Has anyone had a Mastercard payment go through?

I try using firefox and get error,
Move to IE7 , and get successfull sign up

I was a little frustrated with their launch. I tried it a few times and about the 8th time, I decided to give it some time to relax and go back later.

So I did and it worked.

This is probably their first biggest launch since PPC 1.0. If there are 10 complaints on the WF, I bet there are more elsewhere. I'm sure they'll learn something from this.

Yes I tried MasterCard - it also failed! I don't think they've even tried to do a "test buy" themselves. They are losing brownie points!!

Apparently the form does not have a credit card drop list. I think this is the issue. I did email support re. this. Not heard anything yet!!

And then Anik will send you a link to a video apology telling you how sorry he is about the technical issues and how he's gonna make it up to you by giving you all these extra bonuses on top of everything else.

They have a very confusing upsell... I already do not like them simply because I had to take 10 minutes to read and say yes, no , no , no

I understand that is a way to "trick" people into getting a subscription which they can cancel at any time, but will probably keep for a few months... but this is not the type of marketing I want to learn.

I hope the course has some real marketing advice in it - not simply ways to trick people and then hoping they don't fight the refund process.

4 everyone get his card declined, Make sure you put your information correctly, I got declined twice because I put my shipping address as the billing address, while there's a slight difference between them!

When I fixed this, it worked fine!

Put your info as exactly used by your card company,

I am already in the system and started the courses. I can tell you, from the gate, that is NOT what this is. This seems to be REAL very valuable information! So far I feel great about signing up. I hope that helps.

Well folks, one thing that is VERY WRONG is there is no security certificate in the payment area. The page is just a http address and in my view is very risky indeed.

Credit Card Failed. Thing is, that message comes back in 3 seconds, and i've never seen any merchant able to check and complete my card details in that time. Seems bogus.

international Visa card, two cards with credit tried. Annoying.

Really doing it just to check it out, total PPC Noobi, and Going for the Brad Callen Bonusses, which would have cost me $$

I also had trouble with my credit card not being accepted. After it failed 2 cards that I know there should be no issues with, I stopped and tried to figure out what the problem was. It struck me that their form just asked for First and Last name, but my middle initial is on all my credit cards. I tried it by putting my first name and middle initial in the first name box. That worked and it went through this time without a hitch. So if that applies to anyone else, try it and see if that doesn't solve the problem.

I hope the course has some real marketing advice in it - not simply ways to trick people and then hoping they don't fight the refund process.

When I fixed this, it worked fine! Put your info as exactly used by your card company, Cheeres, Ahmed

Thing is, that message comes back in 3 seconds, and i've never seen any merchant able to check and complete my card details in that time. Seems bogus. international Visa card, two cards with credit tried. Annoying. Really doing it just to check it out, total PPC Noobi, and Going for the Brad Callen Bonusses, which would have cost me $$ A.

After it failed 2 cards that I know there should be no issues with, I stopped and tried to figure out what the problem was. It struck me that their form just asked for First and Last name, but my middle initial is on all my credit cards. I tried it by putting my first name and middle initial in the first name box. That worked and it went through this time without a hitch. So if that applies to anyone else, try it and see if that doesn't solve the problem.
