It would challenge to find a web hosting company that can let you host it,
It has a script which gets data directly from google, which is frowned upon by google as well as Hosting Company. if you buy it through a Affiliate, company will not take care of technical support |

newresalerightsstore, no one has the right to sell it for $12...so you can't own a legal license to do so. I am the creator of Adspy Pro and the only one who set the legal terms for this. So you can't do this, and I would ask you to cease and desist.

I host Adspy Pro on my dedicated server. Tracking around 15,000 keywords. No problem.
As for what I think of it: Well anyone who's not using is an idiot! lol. Why? Because it's a one time payment for a software that does the same thing (even better) then: HexaTrack, Affiliate Elite, Keyword Spy, Spyfu, Google Cash Detective Only thing that's a constant concern in my mind is: What happens if creator stops updating it (because Google always changes, where AdspyPro must also change to support Googles change. Else it won't call the Adwords). Creator, I suggest you create a chart on your site, comparing AdspyPro to others I've mentioned. To demonstrate scripts no-brainer value. Because other Adwords spying scripts (like some I mentioned above) have misdirected peoples judgement as to what solution to go for. Then create WSO for it, to reignite the scripts "buzz". I'd price it for $497. Because lower price likely is demonstrating low value of script. But since resell rights always lowers the living crap out of ANYTHING (like newresalerightsstore type of people who do such a thing), I suggest you add extra features to AdspyPro. And never offer resell rights to it. |

Actually, yes, I am using AdSpy Pro - I installed it on my server about a week ago, and I think I've just found a new best friend...
I does what it says it does; installation was quite easy, and I've had no problems so far with over 300 keyword phrases x 4 searches a day (admittedly modest number). |

Thanks for reminding me. I purchased this from JP awhile ago just because I know he puts out quality products.
I do need to install this. What type of hosting is recommended with this. Will this work on shared, vps or do I need to install it on a dedicated server. I may just purchase hosting for this alone. Thanks, |

JP here, creator of AdSpy Pro...
thanks Andre for your nice comments :-) Hopefully someone refered me to this thread to deal with unauthorized reseller :-) There's no reason we stop supporting Adspy Pro, really. ASP was released exactly 2 years ago and we have always released timely upgrades when google changes the search results. For the records, I did not create ASP to make money, but just to propose the best alternative to really expensive scripts...and most importantly to show that you can offer a better solution for much cheaper. I hoped people would then be able to measure the value of what they're buying... Thomas, you should try on your shared hosting first, but I really recommend using your dedi server if you want to scale things up... JP |

I have it but haven't used it much. I think maybe I undervalued
it because it was only like $50 - it seems pretty robust. |

I bought it when it was at its cheapest when it first came out.
The only thing about it is that it works in reverse for the end user compared to things like SpyFu. You have to put in all the keywords you want to track and then see the results over time. If you are like me you may wonder if there are keywords you might have missed. It won't show you what keywords people are using unless you have put them in. They may be using a lot of other keywords you won't know about. With others you can search by web site and see what keywords they already have because basically they already tracked a crap load of keywords in advance and you get to see the results. But yea, it's pretty good. It just takes more work and patience and you will have to be the one think of all the possible related keywords (unless it's changed cause I haven't used it in a while) and wait until you can get a significant result. I would say it's good to track for about a month if you can and then make your decisions. |

tommypm, I know what you're talking about.
In that case, what you do is use every known keyword script/site you know of. Inculding free version of SpuFu/Keyword Spy. Generate the list of keywords. Dump em' into AdspyPro. So no problem there. |

Don't know why my Adspy Pro vesion 1.0 is not working anymore. Do you think I should download the latest version and reinstall it to my server, then it will work??
By the way, I would like to THANKS the creator of AdSpy Pro (i.e. Ethiccash) becasue I HAVEN BEEN (not WAS) making quite a lot of money from some of the profitable keywords that I identified using the AdSpy Pro version 1.0 in 2007. Thanks Ethiccash... ![]() P/s: by the way where can I get a download link for the latest version of AdSpyPro? Is it free for me to donwload it? What is the version now: version 1.3 or 1.4? Thanks. Regards, ebuyer123 |

Hey, ebuyer
I know you asked ethiccash but the latest version is 1.32 I got AdSpyPro when it came out and it says that I've got until 2011 so you should at least have that. You can download it from the same page where you went after you first bought it. |

Hi JP,
I bought AdSpyPro more then a year ago and liked its properties very much. I have it loaded on Hostgator. Due to events in my life I did not use it for this year and would like to begin having it do the CRON jobs again. Now I need your help because I am not able to login? And do not know how to get it working again? (Do I need to upgade?) So, please send upgrades (and login information) to me Scott Douglas. I will gladly pay for the upgrades if necessary Thanks! |

Hi Ethicash,
Quick question. I loaded Adspy pro on my hostgator account to the T. I let it run for 3 days now, and it has not compiled any information. I keep getting sent these cron error messages to my email. "Status: 404 Not Found X-Powered-By: PHP/5.2.8 Content-type: text/html No input file specified." I even tried using the help feature, but it goes to a 404 error page. I even checked my php and it says everything is ok. What do you suggest? If anyone has had this problem and has some suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Rom173 |

Hi, Roger
I guess you bought it from a reseller. I can't guarantee anything but maybe you can work something out with Ethiccash, who is the original product owner and posted on this thread. |

I use Google Cash Detective, StatsJunky and SpeedPPC. That's about it friend! That alone generates more than enough cash flow... If you have the cash to buy Google Cash Detective then I suggest you make the investment into your business before Chris closes the doors to GCD. Only a few people can get their hands on it and I'm happy for that! Don't want everyone to get their hands on this ridiculously profitable software!

What do you think the limit of KW it will handle on a shared serve with HG.. plus the proxies should help fool G.. but I am wondering with the cron jobs if that will overload the HG TOS and close down my hosting a/c.

I'm promoting it to 27 people friend! I can stand 27 people having the software, shoot I can handle 2,000 people having the software because I know that 95% of them will NEVER use it.
I'm just looking for the 5% who actually BUY products and use them for their Value in their Business. Cheers! |

I've never used AdSpyPro on shared host like HostGator. Although I did hear HostGator is aware of AdSpyPro. And by high probability, will suspend your account. I guess ANHosting.com will tolerate slightly higher CPU quota limit that ASP demands. (not affiliated with anhosting, but I do know they are tolerable with high demand scripts.) Other then that, it's really preferrably for VPS/dedicated solutions. Else on shared, you'd probably be limited to about +-500 - 1000 keywords. Guess that's enough. But don't use HostGator or HostMonster for it.

I have been looking at GCD and Adspy Pro and Adspy Pro looks like the much better deal. I am a real newbie at IM and am easily confused by the terms used. When you refer to web hosting, are you referring to my ISP? If so then does anyone know an ISP that will accept Adspy Pro. Sorry to sound stupid.

My suggestion is to go VPS or Dedicated Server
I have had Adspy Pro installed on a VPS from day one and my reasons are: 1. Professional hosting companies have professional hosting solutions...therefore I went VPS and have never had a problem......With the server control I have I like the fact that I was able to set the server to send me an email when loads get heavy on my end from using AdspyPro. 2. Instead of paying for some other software I invest a bit more in hosting so I can control when and if I want to shut the software down and turn it on. 3. I run about8 other scripts with Cron jobs and I don't hear a peep out of my hosting company. I had to contact them to see if they were breathing.....I had loaded several scripts and had them running and became paranoid they pretty much told me to do my thing if ever there were issues they would let me know. 4 This is not a game.....I take IM seriously and wouldn't do it any other way.... 5. Adspy Pro is a professional product you should not be using amateur hosting to use it or any other script for that matter......that's part of the reason similar software providers charge a monthly fee cause of the huge demand on servers when you have hundreds of people using it... and thanks to JP for developing ASP its great! |

Sounds good but I'm informed that you need to run it on your own host which is cheapest $50 a month.

AdSpy Pro can be used in a professional way if you use a serious hosting solution (understand a VPs, or better a dedicated server). A dedi server costs around $100+ a month, but you can host a bunch of websites with it (think: you can host all your landing pages you will create based on AdSpy Pro results). Now, I have also noticed a weird behavior in the last 2 years. A lot of people are ready to buy a $1000 or a $2000 script from a great sales letter, but they most often don't want to then invest more than $5 in hosting...which is a shame.
There's nothing wrong to buy expensive solutions, but there's a need for a balance. If you scan 1000 keywords a day with ASP, (wether it's in 1 niche, or 50 niches), you can really get some valuable and exclusive information (versus querying a common databases using wildcards and getting the same info as many thousands of members :-) ). If you do so, the $100 monthly hosting fees should be marginal compared to your profits. JP |

JP, it may be stupid question, but I think I have to ask U this question..
Doesn't Adspy Pro have its own support forum already, why people who owned the script keeping asking tech support questions in Warrior forum here? Am I missing something here..... |

Seems to me ...
A PPC/Aff. Marketing Jedi - wise to the ways of Google might take it upon themselves to get the spendy hosting, install this script, and offer to mentor a small group of willing newbs for a reasonable monthly fee and % of earnings until said newbs find success or quit paying. |

Thanks JP, I bought from a reseller sorry to say and they don't email me when its updated. I usually don't find out until something goes hay wire and my stats stop. I'm not sure how you handle it JP but I wish I had bought it from you the developer. A word to the wise for anyone thinking of buying ASP or any other script for that matter. However the reseller did follow up and I have 1.32 now. Thumps up :-)

I started looking for other spy programs when I discovered that GCD was out of my budget, and I'm glad I found AdSpy Pro. It was very easy to install, and each day I find new capabilities and information about my competitors or possible niches revealed.
All for dimes on the dollar compared to GCD. Each night I dump a new set of keywords into it and let it rip. Just to be on the safe side, I notified my host of what I was doing, but so far, no problems. I'll probably run each set of keywords for 20-30 days, then rest, then run again, to reduce the load on the server. My only wish is that it would show CPC of the displayed ads, as GCD does, but that's a minor wish. gary |
