Here's my review of MDL.

I opened up the box and found 2 large manuals (one is over 300 pages, the other about 80 pages), a 12 CD set, a 6 DVD set that is basically bonus interviews and case studies, some quick start materials, and 2 bonus pamphlets with some detailed questions that past users have asked.

The funny thing is, I went right to the 300 page manual and flipped it open. To my surprise, I found 50 - 100 pages are inserted UPSIDE DOWN..... so that sort of turned me off from the start. Then I randomly went to the first DVD and popped it into my DVD player. It was a rather bland power point presentation with Bob Serling and a guest talking in the background about the concept of the course. It was kind of boring so I turned it off.

At this point I was a little disappointed by what I saw. However, I put the materials down for a couple of hours, then came back and opened up the manual and started from Chapter 1.

The guide so far has been amazing. There are some great things in here that I've never seen in any other Offline course I've purchased so far. The other manual that is around 80 pages in size corresponds to the content in the large manual.

I've also listened to the first 2 audio CD's that go along with the first seven chapters of the book and I'm enjoying them so far.

So anyways, this is as far as I've gotten, but from what I've read and heard, it's an excellent course. Is it worth the price? I think so. There's more than one strategy to implement so it gives you a lot of different ways to implement this system.

This is outside of the IM realm, since you're working through the post office and talking on the phone with clients. However, the best part is that you really don't need to do any face time. It's all phone and mail.... except I've got some alternative ideas to implement this. We'll see how it goes.

So that's all I have for now. I'll update more as I go through the course

I saw you posted this in another thread about Bob... but can you elaborate a little bit on this? Did you learn this from Bob directly, or did you get your hands on the course?

Not looking for specifics, but I'm curious about the course itself.

This should not require more then 10 to 15 hours of your time. Anyway you get the jist. I sent this out (by email..probably the worst way to send it) to 9 web sites and 3 of them took me up on it.
So, other then what Bob taught @ Frank Kern's Mass Control event which Frank gave away for his Mass Control Monthly launch I have never heard of Sterling or his idea's or methods. However, I did get that one great idea from him and like I said it's made my clients just under $50,000 and made me just over $10,000...so I feel that A) it's just the right thing to do to buy the course from him as a way of paying him for what he has already given me and B) I hope to learn more and as a result make more.

I'm anxious to hear too. I found the free vids really interesting and it seems like something that would really suit me since I have spent all of my careers

connecting people (namely executive search & real estate,) If I can do something with the free stuff I will definitely buy to say thanks and learn more. This sounds amazing and thanks for the great post Brandon and you too Jason.

As an aside, Bob Serling has a really calm style that would make you want to be his student! I like his low key style. Wish I had 2k....

I'm really liking the course after having a few days to review it. And yes, Bob is a great teacher.

I've already started putting things into action so we'll see how it goes.... there's a few things in the course that I don't want to do and I'm hiring people for, so we'll see if that makes any difference

If your not willing to hustle this will not work for you. But, if your willing to get on the phone with successful business owners and play lets make a deal..you will make some deals and it's not very hard.

My biggest struggle has been my health because it makes me appear like a flake in a lot of cases I''m sure. Thanks for the feedback Brandon. I have no doubt that the courses I have are worth their weight it gold. I just have to stop spreading my attention so thin.

I will definitely be putting MDL in my que of courses to invest in. I was already thinking about licensing when I first read the Four Hour Workweek in 07. Its great to know that it really is easy to get into. I hope to talk to you again when I get it!

Hey Bruce - I ended up taking that site down because what I've decided to focus on is doing launches for other people. One of the concepts that Bob talks about in his course is licensing out a proven marketing campaign to company - well I have used Mass Control and PLF for myself and a few friends a number of times and produced great results..so I decided to do it a few more times for money. It's been working very well for me, in fact when Jeff did his recent Product Launch Manager Even in LA he talked about my success in one or two of his launch videos.
Since PLM I've managed to land several clients in the IM niche, where as before the vast majority of what I was doing was Forex and the stock market, I've now got signed contract with three big name people who have all done $1million + IM launches to manage launches for them.
It's been pretty amazing..and beyond anything I'd have ever expected.

In terms of the results I've gotten. I did a few things with MDL. The first few deals I did, I just put some people together and did some JV's. That made a few thousand dollars. Then I did a couple of Past Client Reactivation Campaigns for people. All told I made about $30K doing those.
I then decided to focus on doing product launches using Product Launch Formula and Mass Control for clients. When I had that video My medical debts where over $500,000. I started doing launches for people for a pretty small upfront fee, plus 10% of the launch. By doing that, I've managed to get the debt down to just under $50,000 right now. These have all been launches in the stock market, forex market and real estate.
I went to Jeff's PLM event last month, and since then I've signed up a few more real estate and forex clients who's launches should all do 500k to 1million. I've also taken on three pretty big name IM guys (you'd know the names) who have all done $1million + launches who have hired me to do launches for them coming up...

I also have a girl who's amazing..stood beside the entire time I was sick, and I'm building a really great relationship with her..so all in all, Id have to say that life right now is as great as it was bad only a year ago.

I can't imagine Bob will allow you to do this and TBH you'll need a reasonable amount of capital to market to these companies.

Yes Bob's system's work. However like anything they require a fair amount of work to set up finding the companies then a little time with the companies. As stated already you also need some capital to start with.

I imagine some funds would be necessary in order to market to bigger companies. But I wonder about marketing to smaller companies, making smaller profits and gradually growing into the larger companies. I came across a snippet of some of his material and Bob mentions how you really don't need a lot of capital. Seems there can e a tad bit spent on overnight delivery.

Let's say I say to you here's a method to make millions:

What is it?

1) You find someone offline or doing a really bad online job who has a great unique product that is (could be) in demand. You have to make a call here.

2) you strike up a joint venture but you secure "exclusive rights to it" This is SOOOOOO imprtant. no exclusive rights do not do it or you wil lbe fighting 1,000+ affiliates in no time.

3) Now you market that product/service.

Presto.......now what's the point in asking "how many made a million from this idea so far?" We all know 99% of people are lazy asses who jump form one magic pill to the next and will not focus long enough or put the effort in to work something. All those millionaires you see......how many are actually smarter than you are? There's no "trick to making money". Thank me later.

And yes, Bob is a great teacher. I've already started putting things into action so we'll see how it goes.... there's a few things in the course that I don't want to do and I'm hiring people for, so we'll see if that makes any difference

A friend of mine purchased Mass Control some time back and we recently started getting really into the material. I did a few things with MDL. The first few deals I did, I just put some people together and did some JV's. That made a few thousand dollars. Then I did a couple of Past Client Reactivation Campaigns for people. All told I made about $30K doing those. I then decided to focus on doing product launches using Product Launch Formula and Mass Control for clients. When I had that video My medical debts where over $500,000. I started doing launches for people for a pretty small upfront fee, plus 10% of the launch. By doing that, I've managed to get the debt down to just under $50,000 right now. These have all been launches in the stock market, forex market and real estate. I went to Jeff's PLM event last month, and since then I've signed up a few more real estate and forex clients who's launches should all do 500k to 1million. I've also taken on three pretty big name IM guys (you'd know the names) who have all done $1million + launches who have hired me to do launches for them coming up... I also have a girl who's amazing..stood beside the entire time I was sick, and I'm building a really great relationship with her..so all in all, Id have to say that life right now is as great as it was bad only a year ago. You have to make a call here. 2) you strike up a joint venture but you secure "exclusive rights to it" This is SOOOOOO imprtant. no exclusive rights do not do it or you wil lbe fighting 1,000+ affiliates in no time. 3) Now you market that product/service. Presto.......now what's the point in asking "how many made a million from this idea so far?" We all know 99% of people are lazy asses who jump form one magic pill to the next and will not focus long enough or put the effort in to work something. All those millionaires you see......how many are actually smarter than you are? There's no "trick to making money". Thank me later.
