Newbie IM looking Into Mike Filsaime's Profit Platform, Any thoughts?

Mike Filsaime's profit platform is just something I clicked on through an online ad. He talks about the quadratic formula and I know he's one of those gurus.

I'm not going to lie, I have no IM experience and I'm nervous about dropping $2K on a product to learn a turn-key business. I have a physical disability and it took me a year after school just to find a full-time job. I'm realizing that if I have to have a wheel transit service drive me to work and back and spend my days trying to break through glass ceilings in my workplace to make money I am going to be miserable

Thanks for your feedback I would appreciate any ideas and thoughts.

Don't know if this will help you, but my thoughts are, if starting to get into IM, (and any of the variables that it can have), maybe a more tentative approach could be to explore this forum and try to avoid pitfalls of overload, large purchases, and find your path on what you wish to use the Internet to market.

I have and am still learning and do find so much here.

I have not purchased Mikes big ticket programs, so cannot say either way if they would be a right fit.

Taking action though is 'paramount' in any which way you proceed.

Any million dollar idea, from what I understand, is only part of the path.

    Action Action Action...

Hope this helps and know you will enjoy this forum. By far and away, the best I have heard of.

    Best Regards

Well, maybe you could try Mark Link Affiloblueprint 3.0. I bought it, and it very newbie friendly. I think it $197.00 now.

In the course, it teaches you how to find your niche, till making your first sale. It will cover a big ground like site creation, email marketing and how to build a list, it a step by step process. And they have bonus like your own hosting for 5 website including the affilo theme(which is very cool).

After investing in the course, you need to invest in additional things like
    domain name
    hosting
    email responder

Or you can search other products, hope this help.

You could try Russel Brunson's DotComSecrets-X It cost $1 for the first 30 days then $97 month.
The training is very good in video format and goes through all the steps to take day by day and there is no reason why you cant make your monthly payment in the first 30 days so your membership is free.

    Jchoros,

If you really nervous about shedding the $2000's online when time is hard, there are a lot of affordable IM trainings you can fill your hands to. If you want a free course that taught you IM from ground zero, try ericstips.com by Eric Holmund. His free course is very in-depth, newbie friendly, and helpful. Sorry for a bit off topic, but hope this helpful

If I have $2000 to start from zero, I would spend it to buy domain, hosting, autoresponder, solo ad, and good PLR articles for the e-courses material. And geez, it wouldn't even reached $2000 to start it all.

      Hey there!

It just depends on who you are. A "Buyer" or a "marketer". I totally agree with James's point too.

If you think from a Consumer's point of view who just buy's stuff and expects it to work without working on it , then don't buy anything from any gurus or any body for that matter because you will feel cheated ( although you won't be).
If you really want to do business, then invest in it, work hard by learning through the course, ask questions, join the forum that you get access to after buying the course/training. After putting all the effort if you are disappointed or if you feel you are going no where then simply ask for a refund.

I didn't buy the training, but I know what his so called quadratic formula is and I know that it works.
There's only 1 catch though. They will hand you over a complete business in a box where you can't go wrong. But the main thing is traffic generation. Mike says he will provide training and show how to drive traffic for free and/or cheap but obviously he is not going to send emails out for you to his lists or drive traffic to your website by paying Google or FB or anybody for that matter. So if you think you can learn to drive traffic from that training or any other course from anybody else you bought in past then I would say go for it!

      God Bless

If you are starting out with zero experience or near to zero experience or if you haven't start making a single cent online, get a mentor. Be humble and ask, all successful people have mentors in their life. One of the best teachings i had ever been taught in my life.

Anyway, before you buy into any IM related product, make sure there is a refund period, so if you did buy it and do not like it for whatever reason, you can refund the course.

And also, check out salty droid, google him and your able to see his blog, where he expose how some not so good marketers market their wares to avoid being hit by them.

I personally recommend mark ling, steve & tim claytons, aidan booth and brian g johnson. Maoflynn in warrior forum also have quality products in WSO.

I don't know much about Profit Platform but I do know that Mike is a genius. Does that translate over into his product? I have no idea. But He's really good at what he does.

Maybe take the lesson in how he presents the product itself. How he got you there? How he got you on the webinar (if you signed up for it)? What made you sign up or made you not sign up? Etc.

Some of the best lessons I've learned was from studying the marketing habits of sellers. Although I've purchased quite a few products, the content inside never really taught me much besides one. If you can study how they are advertising (drawing attention) and how they are selling to you, that's the best lesson you can learn.

I think Mike Filsaime Is great! I was never disappointed by any of his products. Mind you I never signed up for paydotcom which I heard short changed some affiliates. We may have to ask Cram more about that one. :S
Nor have I ever bought a Mike Filsaime product, I managed to most of his products for free with a Michael Rasmussen deal. All of which I felt did offer a lot of value in his products.
I think that what he is saying in his webinar presentation is very sound marketing, to think of making money online as a business and that you need a landing page with a low front end offer capture leads and then put them through a sales funnel that has a continuity program, upsells and downsells, followed by a high priced back end product that can be closed by a sales team.

That's not the only way to make any money online but it is kind of along the lines to create a business model as close to this as possible. Let me know how it goes and what you decide.
