Hi everybody i am new in this forum,

Is there is any software to manage the emails like in my office we use 2 email address and every day we receive about 50 emails for our staff. But i wanna use a software so when we receive all the emails, they will forwarded to the staff according to the department.

Is there is any one who can tell me where can I get it or what is the name or the software and how much it's gonna cost.......

I use Google (Gmail & Google Apps) which allows me to set up filters to forward things. If you set up a domain with Google Apps you can create email addresses with no mailbox (called Groups) that can be forwarded to a single address or to multiple. That's the way I do things.

  • I'm not sure I understand the question. Why don't you simply implement a forward instruction to redirect your incoming emails to the appropriate department?

    Hi,

I have 5 different e-mail accounts and thousands of archived e-mails. I manage them easily with Mozilla Thunderbird.

Do you use Facebook ? Then you can make money just by inviting people to a Facebook group ! It's called the Instant Income System. How cool is that?

Microsoft Outlook can do all that plus a lot more.

Remember not to use free email software for business purpose.

    All the best.

LOL. If you don't mind me saying so...

I'll expand the idea a little bit. Let's take a look at what I've been using for the past 10+ years...

OSes: mainly OpenSUSE Linux, a little bit Vector Linux.
Mail client: KMail (long ago), Thunderbird.
      Browser: FireFox and Konqueror mainly.
      Image editing: The Gimp
      CRM: Dolibarr
Phone: Ekiga mainly, also Jitsi. Skype is an exception (free but not open-source), I use it only because I have no other choice to get in touch with some people.
      Office tasks: OpenOffice.
      Desktop publishing: Scribus

All... Free. And all working perfectly well! Skype excepted as the Linux version is a... Well I'd better not say what I think of it in public. I don't want to get arrested

      And that's only for starters...

There are lots of free applications that are perfect for business purposes. You only need to choose them well. I'm actually currently completing a tutorial on Thunderbird, showing how to efficiently manage several accounts and loads of e-mails, filtering, searching, etc... I hope to finish it within a day or two.

Googlemail manages an immense amount of forwarding and categorising of emails for me. I really don't know what I'd do without it!

My main googlemail inbox receives mail for all my email addresses, then sorts it according to what it is, where it's from and which of my addresses it was sent to, then auto-forwards the ones that need auto-forwarding. By the time I get to it, most of the work has been done!

I agree. There are a lot of free software that we can use for our business.

I was referring specifically to "email" program.

Do you think Amazon or PayPal use free email client like Gmail to run their business?

LOL. If you don't mind me saying so...

Technically, if you go the Google route you could find yourself using Google Apps for business which is not free @ $50/user/year. AND, Google Apps has some pretty extensive functionality these days too! They do have a free version that's a bit lighter and limits the number of users you can have, but I'd still say that's a viable option to look into at least to start.

If they have a paid version, it is definitely worth trying.

In business, you have to think long term since emails are an such an integral of our business.

I actually do encourage to use Gmail and Google Apps. But I think Microsoft Outlook can help you with that as well.

Actually, I didn't have gmail's webmail in mind... I tend to stay away from webmails of any kind. I am convinced Thunderbird is just fine for small companies. As I said I've been using it for years, one of my accounts even has around 7000 archived mails going back as far as 2006...

I search many email sending softwares but never get any software free to download. The best email sending company must charge you for sending emails.

    Use windows Microsoft Outlook

    Hi,

    Where did you see that?
If you're talking about simply sending e-mails... Use the SMTP server of your ISP! I've never had to pay to send a single e-mail... Unless the ISPs of your country behave differently of course, that I do not know.

If you're talking about managing a list - but this is a different matter - you have two options, either pay a good autoresponder, or set up your own, on your own domain. Which you don't necessarily have to pay for, but on the other hand in that case you need some technical skills and you have to put in some work.

Here, there is an email marketing software will meet your needs, which help with getting email addresses, managing them, creating message, sending the email and analyzing the results. You can download a free one from the site to have a test.
