Was just reading this article at TechCrunch about a new Google announcement.
What would you write on your blog when you haven't even launched your product? I looked at 10 blogs and saw that most of them wrote about 'How they achieved and X metric' (non-relevant to the product), culture and other stuff when the whole idea is to gain more 'beta interests'! As a marketer, what will you do? In other words, what will be your content marketing strategy?
Most of us have heard of the 80/20 rule. In other words, 80% of our success comes from 20% of our efforts.
I have lots of ideas on things to write for my blogs, I get maybe 10-15 every single day. However, I am not very organized with them and sometimes will forget them. How do you keep organize/track of all your new ideas? There are tools that are great for maintaining an editorial calendar, but I was wondering if there are any suggestions or advice for organizing lots of new ideas.
So I have been reading on a lot of places that you should use Content Upgrades to gather more subscribers and build your list. However, I am not a fan of all the popups and popunders and sliders etc on most slides saying "hey here's a free ebook" and all of that. I want people to subscribe because they like my content, not because I 'spam' them with a lot of ways to sign up.
