SEO/Keyword Elite or Market Samurai? Which Is Better?

Ok I have tried Market Samurai and it has some good features. I have not though tried the other two. I wanted to get some advice here to which would be the better buy for knowing SEO competition?

    I have SEO Elite and Keyword Elite. They were released years ago and while the advice in SEO Elite is good, it doesn't do anything for you if you don't use it and follow through with it constantly. And much of it is just that -- advice.

    I wish I would have spent my money on a membership to SEOBook instead (but it didn't exist back then!).

    I am looking for the best program to speed up being able to look at what the competition has for backlinks and PR etc. I know of the free stuff but want something that I can use to save time.

    I found some really informative videos about Market Samurai
    at YouTube - kernelsanders's Channel
    the videos maybe won't answer all your questions but it
    will tell you if MS meets your needs so you can compare
    it with others. I found them to be really excellent.

    I have not used Market Samurai but I have SEO Elite and Keyword Elite. This is must have complete SEO/Keyword package and I am very happy with these software.

    I have downloaded the trial for both market samurai and seo elite.

    Here's my 10 cents:

    Market samurai is in fact a combination of seo elite and keyword elite. It enables you to perform keyword research and at the same time help you to check the backlinks of your competitors.

    Personally, I prefer market samurai and have sign up for the paid version yesterday.

    i urge you to re-visit the Market Samurai website. I have owned the software for some time and they had some big mack daddy release this morning that boosts the power of it A LOT. there are videos, etc. explaining and I haven't gotten into it yet but I was using the program just last night and woke up this morning to use it some more to a nice suprise.

      Hi,

      I'm very glad to have found this thread. I own Keyword Elite and MicroNicheFinder.
      I'm debating whether to purchase SEO Elite OR Market Samurai. Here's my two
      applications:

      1) I want to uncover "buy" vs "tire-kicker" keywords for my article marketing.
      KE and MNF are great for the initial research, but don't really help me to
      dig deeper into the higher converting purchase keywords.

      2) Related to my article marketing and also, my offline consulting for local
      businesses, I want to be able to "drill down" into the attributes of the
      top 10 sites and how I can emulate their backlink strategy to outrank them.

      I understand that Market Samurai displays the overall PR, anchor text and
      backlink stats of the top 10 sites. However, I believe SEO Elite takes this
      a step further by listing the actual backlink source url's and pages also broken
      down by PR and anchor text. So, if I can target a composite of the highest
      authority sites backlinking to the top 10 sites, I'm off to a great start.

      So, for my applications, am I better off purchasing MS or SEO Elite?

      I'd prefer not to have to purchase both, but think I might need to.
      Would need MS to drill down on purchase keywords and SEO Elite to
      drill down on top 10 competing site actual backlink sources.

      Would love to hear the advice of anyone who is using either or both
      of these systems successfully.
